I am in SF once a month on business and look forward to dining here! Very open restaurant and good vibe. The staff is very attentive and make good recommendations if you can't decide between a couple of items. The last time I was there, I had the lamb shank - very tender and delicious. Good selections of wine and specialty cocktails. You will not be disappointed!

The food was great! The restaurant is socially conscious as they have a Credo Community Partners program focused on benefiting nonprofit organizations. My organization, Circulo de Vida Cancer Support and Resource Center, benefited from this wonderful program on November 15. Credo will donate 20% of the total dinner sales, and $2 each of each signature cocktail and appetizer. Thanks Credo!!

The food here was excellent. Our group brought our CEO here and we had the scallops, salmon, risotto, pork shoulder dish and the pasta with beef ragout and we cleaned our plates. Really great food. Love the creeds on the wall. Great for groups. You won't be disappointed.

Nice little place! It might not be the best choice for a large group, but it's great for a lunch meeting or catching up with a friend. The wait staff was very nice and the food was delicious. Don't be deceived by the small portions; they are very filling. Warm lighting and hundreds of manifestos on the walls provide an inspiring atmosphere, harkening back to San Francisco's counterculture history in a bougie way. I'd definitely go back.

I had the Porchetta (Pork Shoulder in a pinwheel with spicy sausage inside) and it was the best pork dish I've ever had...hands down. It was delicious. My table mates had much the same to say about their dishes. The salads were excellent (we shared two different ones) and the wine selection was solid. Overall the food was worth many follow up visits.

I made reservations here simply because they were close to our hotel on Nob Hill and I did not want to be wandering around looking for a place to eat, also the prices were very reasonable for SF. I loved the place...small but well decorated. Had an easy friendly vibe with an open kitchen. We arrived a bit early and they happily seated us. Good wine by the glass options. Our server was great, the only negative was that he was also working the bar, so our service was a bit slow.....but we were not in a hurry so it was not problematic. The food was excellent. Goat cheese appetizer, butternut ravioli with brown butter sauce, macadamias and pomegranate seeds, a tubular pasta with chicken meatballs and snap peas and the caramel pot de creme.

Dinner took a very long time to arrive. Server was apologetic and offered free deserts (although a free appetizer would have been more appropriate, since he apparently knew how late it would be). Food was so salty that my friend couldn't finish her entree. While I was starving, the inspirational quotes on the wall got more and more grating.

Visiting from San Antonio we were looking for Italian and found it big time. The kale salad sounds a little strange on the menu, but was delicious. I had the lamb shank which was fall off the bone tender and served with spinach and potatoes with just enough garlic. My dining partner did jot care for the lentil soup but thought the lasagne was great. Like many Italian restaurants the noise level was a little high, but we could easily carry on conversation without needing to listen to the conversation next door. Highly recommended!

Cleverly designed, liked that! Kale salad was great as was their vegan dish, appreciated that! Place is very noisy due to lots of hard surface area. Was a set back. Hard to enjoy when you had to repeat what you were saying. The servers were excellent, trying very hard to please. It has potential. Good for a late dinner when downtown.

The mozzerella/heirloom app and beet salad was great. The entrees ran either way TOO salty, (the prochetta) or butternut ravioli, very blah and bland and was way under seasoned, but in blah butter and NO don't add salt to improve it. Try spices, maybe a little agave to sweeten it or something else. I really wanted this meal to be great all the way through, but it wasn't.

I've dined here for lunch, but had never been for dinner until now. Great food! We had a 6:15 reservation on a Friday night and were seated in a nearly empty house. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, the food was timed well and served piping hot. The staff knew the dishes and provided recommendations and even shared their favorites. It did seem as if they had a much later dining crowd. As we were leaving the place was near full and more people were coming in. We chose 6:15 as it was right after work - and my office is right down the street. It seems as if we missed the crowd - which was great for us... We will definitely be back again - and we're looking forward to it!
