  • One Special Dinner
    OpenTable Diner Since 2013
    Dined on 2/16/2013
I chose this restaurant to be the place to take my now fiance to eat just before I proposed to her. It has a contemporary victorian feel to it with lots of baby blue velvet and ornate silver. The menu is set up so that you share whatever you order with everyone, something that I liked. The service was very detail oriented with changing of silverware with every course. Our dinner took about 3 hours so plan on spending time. 2 down notes to speak of to be totally truthful. It got busy half way through our meal and there was only a single server on duty so attention to our table wained a bit. Not the waitresses fault. Also the music was totally random and inappropriate, I thought. All in all, my fiance said 'yes' and loved this restaurant.

  • Great spot for Date NIght

We have eaten there several times now and keep coming back for the excellent food and service. It is a great spot for “date night”, the atmosphere is quite and romantic not your typical Toronto establishment. Have the escargot and lamb, amazing.

This place is not a restaurant. The food is Tapas, but poorly prepared. The wine list is poor, a small handful of reds and whites. The ambiance is nice, but it feels like they paid a lot of attention the decor and not a lot to operations, food and drink. The waitress told us its a lounge and they are trying to push the late evening crowd, so I can't understand why it bills itself as a restaurant, it isn't. If your looking for food, go somewhere else on King St.

  • French cuisine in a "Boudoir"
    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 11/8/2012
The decor was absolutely beautiful and impressive. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The food was very delightful. Very classy. Everything was served on silver platters, new cutlery, and fine introductions by the server. It was very nice to entertain my guests in this "french boudoir" living room atmosphere and sharing conversations without yell at each other. Gentlemen, if you are aiming to impress, this is the place. For those you who want to enjoy a "first class" experience, this is it. Ladies, if your man is treating you to "Cream" he must be very fond of you. Or if you just want to be special to yourself with the company of a few close friends, this is enjoyable. Looking forward to returning for another ex

4 of us went to Cream on a Friday night, I think we were the only people in there for the entire meal. Food is good, but way over priced for what you get, same with the wine list. For a restaurant specializing in a tapas style menu the tables are tiny and every time food was brought everything had to be re-arranged. There are far better choices in King West in terms of quality and value.

Wow...I was looking for a romantic spot for the evening and I scored. The ambiance and service was off the chart. Truly authentic French tapas type menu for tasting and great wines. The furnishings and finish inside this truly unique lounge made the night unforgettable. Don't know of another place in the city that you can settle into boudoir style chairs and couches without a hint of rushing. My wife was in heaven.

It's more like being in France , on King Street, if you know what I mean; short wine list but has all the big guns inc chateau neuf & amarone; delicately balanced fine food; It's a tapas menu & it's French so dont expect to get your belly full...Ahem
