CRAVE - LaSalle PlazaGreat experienceWent here for Mother's Day(delayed MD), and had a pretty good meal. I'm a big fan of hamburgers, and the Crave burger was just delicious; the bacon I requested made it that much better. First two options my Mom asked for they were out of, so the server said whatever she chose next, assuming they had it, would be on the house, which would pretty cool to have happen. My Mom chose the Sea Bass, and she thought it was absolutely terrific. All the others in our group liked their food as well. We were able to move our reservations up because we got out early, which was nice. Our server was good, nothing too out of the ordinary. They were almost out of sushi as well as a steak salad my dad wanted to order. I had a chicken and mushroom pasta, the portion was quite small considering the price of the dish and the fact that it was dinner time. The food was very good and it was delivered in a timely manner. Our check was also delivered and processed in good time. Compared to experiences with other restaurants in the the Hennepin Theatre District, Crave stood out in a good way. The food was really good, the service was GREAT (the water lady was a bit obsessed to keeping my water glass full... almost standing over us), but it was HOT in there. I realize it was a warm day outside, but I would think they would have turned up the AC in anticiaption of a busy Saturday night. We had to finish our meal and get outside for some fresh air, but did notice as we walked out that it was cooler near the entrance than it was in the dining area. I didn't want to feed him burgers and fries so we went to Crave. The staff were all delightful to my little boy and he adored their sushi (yes, he loves cooked sushi with eel sauce). My pork chop was red in the middle and cold, the sides were cold and lacked flavor. The other entrees at the table were OK, but not spectacular for the price. My brother showed up first , I had to call to change the table from 8 to ten and as the birthday girl I was running late. They held the table and allowed my brother to take a drink and app at the bar while waiting for the rest of the party. We only had 15 minutes to eat our food and then had to get back to work even though we blocked an hour and a half for lunch. We had the shrimp appetizer and it was fantastic! I normally don't order a Turkey burger but decided to based on a recommendation from the waiter and this too was delicious.

The server was very friendly and helpful, and steered us to the menu specifically for pre-show dining (faster turnaround in the kitchen, so sure to get to the show on time). It was a little noisy in the main part of the restauant, but from the looks of things, it's a happy hour hot spot so that's to be expected. The service is always helpful and friendly. I've never had to wait long for food. The Kogi Beef Tacos, Volcano & Aloha Sushi Rolls were fantastic. We ate it all! For dessert we dived into two of the Minis - Tiramasu & Sweet & Salty Caramel. WOW! They were incredible - especially the Sweet & Salty Caramel. A must try! The Easter brunch menu was diverse with several wonderful choices. I will definitely visit again so I can try the regular menu. I was not able to find the time I wanted for our large group thru open table a week out, so made reservation thru open table picking what was available and then followed up with a phone call to restaurant and they were able to accommodate us at the time we wanted and even add more people. This time our service was great! I wish I knew our servers name but she was fantastic. I have a wheat and cheese intolerance and she was very accommodating.
