We came here for the award winning mac and cheese. It was delicious, and all I expected it to be. It was real comfort food and reminded me of my mom's. We shared the fried oysters and fried brie. Both were very good. The scallops over lobster risotto was also excellent. i found the pork millanaise to be a bit dry and the cobb salad was nothing special. My biggest complaint was that our entrees were brought to the table while we were still eating our appetizer. We felt rushed. It was not the fine dining experience I expected.

From start to finish, Crave was an excellent find. Nestled in a local neighborhood the location is prime, as it is close to the beach and the local, quaint shops of Seaside Farms. We were sat immediately and warmly greeted by our helpful server. She suggested the scallops for me and mac n cheese for my fellow diner. The beautiful, large, hand selected fresh daily scallops rose well above my expectations and now we know why the mac n cheese has won awards 5 years straight!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy great food...without the hassle of traveling downtown.

This was our first time dining here after moving to Mt Pleasant 4 years ago and we were blown away. Have been completely wasting time going all the way downtown. Our food was nothing short of exceptional (Scallops were unreal!!) matched only by the attentiveness shown by our server, Ellie. We had a great experience from the moment we walked in the door, until the manager thanked us before we left. Genuinely a first class operation. Hats off. Cannot wait to see you all again!

We were staying at Wild Dunes and didn't want to eat there. Also didn't want to go all the way into downtown Charleston. We decided to try one of the Mt. Pleasant restaurants on our list, and we couldn't be more pleased! Crave was fantastic: the food, the portions, the service, the atmosphere! Didn't have a bad bite all night. We'll be back!

Mac n Cheese is everything it boasts about. Creamy, cheesy, addictive. But leave room for something else since all the food is fresh, well prepared, seasoned perfectly. The carnivore among us tried the strip steak and raved about it. An interesting wine list and great service, in spite of two large parties in house. The real downside is the noise level which apart from the buzzing restaurant itself, is created by overly loud beach music. It is played at a level which would get you into trouble if you tried it at home. Distracting and unnecessary.

Mac n cheese was out of this world!! Signature cocktails very good...traditional cocktails not so much. We had been chatting with friends about new finds around Charleston with great food, but also good to take pleasantly behaved young children, and Crave was on our list. So we went for my husbands birthday. Food was great, with exception to the Mahi which was one if the specials, and was slightly over cooked. We were all fairly impressed and will go again, maybe avoiding fish.

While staying at a new hotel we were walking to find a restaurant in the nearby storefronts. We came upon this location qand were absolutely delighted at the service and the food quality. We knew we were in for a treat The moment we walked in and the greeter showed us the openTable application. After the reservation was made he always referred to us by name Shana, our server was informative and personally knew about the food on the menu. And finally the manager personally came by and spoke very professionally to us even giving us personal information about himself as we shared stories about life experiences. We will definitely be back and hopefully this next time with even more team members!

Most of our selections were made from the "specials" list and we were not disappointed. We had the appetizers stuffed clams and fried oysters. Both were exceptional. Lovely texture and taste. We shared the plates among 4 of us and it was just enough for a bite or two for each of us. The Mac and Cheese deserves the praise. A very interesting combination of cheeses in a very creamy presentation. The BLT sandwiches were a big hit. The white wine sangria was delicious. We enjoyed the 60's tunes on the playlist that evening. Not too loud and great background vibe. We are very picky eaters and enjoy great food and attentive service. Crave's new owners are spot on with this menu and our waitress got it right.

Why go downtown when this gem is right around the corner in Mt Pleasant! The management and staff all seem quite well versed in their menu and wine list. They are happy to make recommendations, and we have enjoyed every one of the suggestions so far. This has become one of our favorite spots around Greater Charleston for quality fine dining without breaking the bank. We will be back for more!

I took my gf for our one year anniversary as a surprise. We heard rave reviews about the mac n cheese from the manager at the Comfort Suites, Justin Hatfield. We were more than impressed. The music was great, service was excellent and the food blew our minds. I had the Sea Bass and she had the Pork Milanes. We were both very pleased. We both were a huge fan of the jalapeño and cilantro margaritas. We will definitely be back.

Love love love this restaurant. Best Mac and cheese I've had down south hands down! The red mussels are also to die for! Always take the excess broth home with me. When it comes to entrees, however, it is hit or miss. My boyfriend and I have had plates We absolutely loved and also ones that weren't so great. This last trip we tried something new. I had short ribs and he had the fried chicken. Neither were spectacular but I think for me the flavor from my mussels broth overpowered the dish because the leftovers I had today was much better. My boyfriend still didn't enjoy his fried chicken. However, after having the fried chicken from Lowcountry Bistro, no other can compare. Overall though Crave is one of the best restaurants in Mt. Pleasant!

We were very impressed with the food and service at Crave. I had the pork special and mentioned to the waitress that it was somewhat salty. The manager came by and said that the brine used to tenderize the meat was at fault. He apologized and comp'ed our dessert and then talked to us for several minutes about our vacation and other restaurants in the area. Despite the extra salt in my dinner, the flavors of both entrees were great along with the sides and were generous portions. The she crab soup was great as was dessert (german chocolate cake special). The décor was very nice along with comfortable booths. We enjoyed Crave much more than one of the high rated "famous" restaurants in Charleston that we attended the previous nite.

The food, as usual, was outstanding, as was our waiter and the overall service. One of the great things I love about Crave is that the tables are not right on top of each other. You can enjoy your table, with your guests, without feeling like you are a part of another table, and their guests. We live about 50 minutes away from Crave but come once a month because the food is always great and the overall experience is fantastic. Always a great time at Crave. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I went for our anniversary and staff went out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. Manager checked on us several times and waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was some of the best we have had in Charleston, on par or better than many of the well know places downtown. Fish was fresh and prepared well and pork loin was some of the best I have ever had. Dining room was well laid out and there was perfect blend of sound so that conversations could be private without having to raise your voice. We will be back.

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Crave. We were seated right away and the manager came over to introduce himself. He was extremely welcoming and thanked us for coming in. The service was outstanding. Our waitress suggested we start off with the mac and cheese, with was incredible and we followed it up with scallops and a special, the herb steak oscar. The waitress checked in on us from time to time and helped us pair dinner with wine. We cannot wait to return very soon! Thank you for a fantastic date night!

We went with the restaurant week menu simply for the amazing deal, but all of the food was fantastic! Our waitress was great - personable and on top of our service. The manager checked back with us periodically but also respected our space so we could enjoy our meal. I would recommend this as a top spot to eat anytime!

I was a little disappointed with my experience, mostly because I've had catered food from Crave, which was amazing... but the dining experience was very average. The restaurant was fairly empty (Monday at 6:30PM), so not much energy. The waitress was training a new waitress - after our meal was served, we didn't get checked on until we were almost all complete with our meals. Unfortunately, I really felt like my meal needed something, so that spoiled the experience for me. I couldn't flag anyone down without getting up, and didn't bother to do so.

Famous macaroni and cheese was recommended to us and did NOT disappoint. Also the special pork belly risotto appetizer with apple cole slaw and blue cheese sauce was unique and delicious.
