  • "We went to Craft to celebrate our anniversary which I mentioned when making my reservation. I was a little surprised when I received a phone message requesting my wife's first name. When we were seated and given our dinner menus I discovered the reason, our menus were specially printed with a notation celebrating our anniversary. That marked the beginning of a wonderful evening. The food at Craft is fabulous. For openers we had a wonderful avocado and peanut salad as well as pork belly that melted in your mouth We had their signature Diver scallops and sublime lamb (and generously portioned) as entrees. Side dishes of mushroom and perfect Gnocchi. Their wine list is excellent and by the glass wine first rate. We shall return"

  • "I'd not eaten at Craft for a few years now, and this was my first - probably only - time at lunch. I had the prix fixe and my friend ordered their chicken salad. Hers was bland and soggy. My gazpacho was pretty good as a starter. The sole as a second course was bland and unimaginative. The strawberry ice cream for dessert was probably the best part of the meal. Even though we were sitting across from each other, I still had a hard time hearing my friend when she was speaking to me. Seemed like the chef (?) texted this one in - even a phone call might have been better. I am not planning on going back, because it was a huge waste of money."

  • "I had the best time at Craft! We took my friend for her birthday, and I am so glad that we did. The service was excellent! She was greeted several times. They also put her name on the menu. Aside from the free dessert you get from other restaurants, we also got a soup, an amazing plum sorbet, a fancy smore type treat, and a cornbread that was wrapped to go! All of our food was delicious, but my favorite was the gnocchi! It was the best I've ever had!!! I would recommend this restaurant for a special occassion or to someone who just wants some amazing food. I will be back!"

  • "We came as a group of 6, everything was served family style so it was great for sharing and trying different things. I felt that the main entrees came out a little cold. We ordered the washugyu? Flat iron medium rare but it was rare. Cooked nicely, but our whole table agreed it was rare. As for it being cold, I understand meats need to rest after cooking, but maybe a little warmer would have made a big difference. The duck entree was probably my favorite, cooked perfectly medium with a crispy skin, and still warm. Mujufigi pork was cooked nicely but a little cold in the center and lacked seasoning. Overall nice place for a special occasion, lovely ambiance and top-notch service."

  • "The restaurant is a lovely place to have a meal. The service is amazing. They are very good at taking care of their tables without being fussy. We had the DineLA menu; the heirloom tomato salad was delicious, the little gem salad was fantastic. We had the Salmon and the Pork. Both were delicious. The sauce and grits with the pork were particularly good. The dessert, cinnamon sugar doughnuts and a creme fraiche panna cotta with strawberries were absolutely fantastic, even to my friend who never eats sweets. My favorite touch we the little fun things they brought out. There was a gazpacho amuse bouche, wonderful peas and carrots with our mains, caramel popcorn and a bag of homemade granola to take for breakfast. Just perfect."

  • "This was my first time to Craft. The service was outstanding and I really liked the setting and the look of the restaurant. We took advantage of the Dine LA at $45. The small taste of gazpacho at the beginning was wonderful. I would give it 5 stars, however, I wasn't crazy about the cauliflower hummus. The bread was amazing and I really liked the way they had multiple appetizers and 2 desserts for the two of us that we could share. I will definitely go back, although it is pricey, but surely worth it."

Seems the quail was taken off the advertised menu that day and left little to choose from. The avocado and peanut appetizer was merely a bowl of lettuce. Strange! Plus, unlike other Dine L.A. restaurants on the list, the dessert was extra at Craft. Not much of a bargain. The food was tasty though. Guess I would try the place again. Great location; and parking was a deal."

  • "I first had craft for last years dineLA week. I really enjoyed and decide to go back for a second time for dineLA this week. However, the food was not as good this time. I ordered the beef short rib and the pasta was undercooked. We had it send back, but it didn't taste the same. The appetizers were "ok" and not as good as I expected. The cheesecake dessert texture was grainy and a little blend. Overall, it was a bit disappointing."

The staff were so nice and attentive. I never felt "abandoned" as I have in so many restaurants whether alone or with others. Not only was the food incredible (literally the best salmon I have ever eaten), but with DineLA they bring you multiple appetizers and desserts, plus there is a large selection of entrees. Other DineLA restaurant menus have been very limited, but not this one. We truly had a wonderful evening. One itsy-bitsy quibble -- it was my birthday, and I was hoping for a candle in my delicious cinamon-sugar donut. ;-) Oh well -- maybe they don't do that there. Still a five-star meal in my opinion."
