My wife was a bit hesitant because of mixed reviews from a travel site but we saw good reviews at OpenTable and decided to try it. We both agreed that the dinner we had at CQ's was the best of our trip! The food was excellent both Scottish Salmon and Halibut (the fresh catch). The only small problem was the waiter appeared a little rushed when we first arrived (I suspect he had a couple of parties lingering and had too many tables) but after our glass of wine arrived he was more attentive and was very knowledgeable. Then we had the steak special and it was OMG scrumptious! The restaurant is in an old building and the table arrangements are not the best, but the food and service is well worth it. Both were excellent, well prepared, with delicious accompaniments. With a restaurant that has been around so long, one would expect many entrees that have become standards. But there are always enough specials that we haven't set a particular dish as the one we came for.
