A word from Corvo Bianco
Corvo Bianco offers Italian cuisine at its best. The charming dining room, located in a magnificent courtyard that was once the lobby of the Endicott Hotel (built in 1890), is the perfect meeting place for families, locals and visitors alike.

The menu boasts an inventive assortment of fish, meats and house-made pastas and pizzas, all of which is accompanied by a carefully curated selection of wines and signature cocktails. Upon entering, the roomy bar area serves up a selection of featured cocktails, choice wines and beers, and a spread of distinctive bar fare. Inside, the 125 seat dining room's warm ambiance provides the perfect setting for a celebratory gathering or intimate evening, and the backroom is ideal for private parties.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "Perhaps one of the most impressive restaurants I ever been to. The food and service was great, and the design is simply flawless. I would recommend to anyone for any occasion."

  • "Found this at the last minute and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Took my 10 and 8 year old nieces and the restaurant staff was terrific, including making a "special" drink for them (something Shirley Temple-like but SO Much better and not full of sugar!). The gnocchi with tomato sauce was amazing! We loved everything about this and will make sure to pass the word on!"

  • "Some times you just want a neighbourhood restaurant that is beautiful yet relaxing. While the place is stunning, jeans are welcome lending a warm casual feel ...which when combined with the efficient but friendly service and the spectacular food, delivers an experience most diners crave when on a night out with a loved one. We will eagerly return to Corvo Bianco next time we are in the area."

  • "A truly unique restaurant in Manhattan. A spacious, tastefully decorated room, allowing plenty of room between tables; excellent and reasonably priced fare; outstanding staff. All combine for a surprisingly memorable dining experience. "

  • "This restaurant is spacious, beautifully decorated, and serves fabulous food. Their menu is relatively small for main entrees but there are many choices if you count the pastas, the appetizers, and the salads as well. The food was marvelous as we shared the tasty kale salad, the tender seasoned grilled octopus, pasta with seafood, and an Italian fish stew. My husband and I think it might be one of the best meals we have eaten this year. (Definitely the best Upper West Side dining experience we have had in many years.) (If this restaurant holds special events (?) it would be a perfect venue. The food is great, the layout is spacious, and beautifully decorated....and , yes, it has large, many-stalled restrooms. What's not to like? )"

  • "Corvo Bianco is in a huge, attractive room with widely spaced tables. New Yorkers will feel almost lonely dining with so much vacant space around them. For a large room, the noise level is surprisingly moderate. Waitstaff friendly, if not well-informed. The food: pretty good, not great. My chioggia beet salad with red beet puree and pickled hot peppers was tasty and interesting, but my dining companion's cicorie salad was tasteless, almost as if there were no dressing. I asked the server about the shrimp pasta "with tomato" ahead of time and was assured that the sauce was not "red" but that the dish included small bits of tomato. But it was a red sauce after all: disappointing, heavy, not tasty. Wine list well-priced, some good choices."

  • "Salad ordinary. Pasta good. Restaurant beautiful. Wine list and prices outrageous."

  • "The last time I was at this location it was Calle Ocho. What a beautiful job Corvo Bianco did on this space - light, airy, open, serene. A perfect spot for a meal, and a surprisingly large space for the Upper West Side. That back room is like being in an outdoor garden with the most amazing light. Food was terrific, although I would imagine it is even better for dinner (we went for brunch). We had 2 small children with us and although the restaurant was very accomodating, it might be better for a ladies lunch, a date, or a group dinner with other adults. I will definitely go back."

  • "Atmosphere was great and the food was good, but the waiter service was subpar. The value was good as the prices were not bad. Maybe this was an isolated incident, but if the waiter service improves, this would be a great spot."

  • "My husband took me there for Mother's Day brunch. The brunch menu is pretty limited if you're not in the mood for either eggs or pancakes, but the salads and pizzettes we ordered were spot-on, flavor-wise, and very tasty. Service was attentive and the space is gorgeous. We look forward to returning for dinner one evening and sampling more of Chef Faulkner's cooking. "

  • "From the moment we walked into the restaurant to the moment we departed......1st rate experience. Our server, Esther, was wonderful. Great suggestions on the menu and very attentive. Nice touch by the restaurant manager to come over and introduce himself. Thank you for noticing my note that it was my friend's birthday."

  • "This restaurant is a westside gem. The food is excellent. A rare find in this neighborhood of middle of the road eateries. We all marveled at the perfectly prepared fish dishes and the fresh and modern sides. Can't wait to return."

  • "Took friends there to celebrate a 50th birthday.....great ambience with beautiful decor. The food was excellent. The polpette meatballs were outstanding. The duck was delicious. My friends had the lamb and the steak and both raved about them!......Highly recommend this restaurant. Looking forward to going back."

  • "I have dined at Corva Bianco approximately four times. Each time has been exceptional in every sense. I would like to make a specific notation towards one of your staff member's. Your hostess,'Ashelyn Vazquez' went above and beyond any hostess I've encountered. I dine out quite frequently, yet Ashelyn stood out in a area of her own! She was so accommodating, upbeat, positive, just to mention a few of her elite professional qualities. Her presence enhanced my family, friends, and my dining experience. I continue to refer CB, to friends, especially those that reside on and near the uws. I look forward to returning to your restaurant! Sincerely a very happy, fully satisfied customer. "

  • "We had a 40th birthday brunch and it couldn't have been more lovely! I've been here for dinner and it was wonderful but seeing the restaurant with the sun shining through the large cathedral ceiling was just beautiful. The food was excellent, the wine delicious, service impeccable and I can't say enough about what a great day it was! If you haven't been yet for brunch you should get there ASAP! "

  • "We reserved for a Sunday brunch via Opentable, then noticed their menu was different on their website than what was listed on Opentable. Because we had one gluten-free member of the party, I called and asked which one was correct. They were kind enough to email me a copy of the proper menu, kudos for that on a Saturday night. The room was very modern, very nice, brightly lit with natural light, and the food was pretty terrific--and a great value. Service was a bit slow to get started, but was good after that. Definitely recommended."

  • "We had been there before, and the food is special. It's an adult venue on the Upper West Side. We were prepared, however, for their old wine list, which was extremely reasonable. This new one had limited choices and was more expensive. We would definitely go back. I think they need more by-the-glass choices for red wine. "

  • "It is so hard to find a place in Manhattan with excellent food and low noise level, let alone one that can handle a large group on a Saturday night, but Corvo Bianco was all of this and more. We had a great birthday event and everyone in the group was very happy to be able to hear each other talking and with their meals and the delicious wine. As the vegetarian in the group I ordered the veggie lasagna which was possibly the best I have ever had--truly amazingly delicious. Dont forget to have dessert: the neopolitan was divine. "

  • "Corvo Bianco is exactly what the UWS needed. Great Italian that isn't too casual or too upscale...just right. The food is absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. The space is beautiful - open and bright and big. We will definitely become regulars here."

  • "Great open space for an NYC restaurant and the dining room has been designed well. Solid food but the service was slow and was hoping for more based on the pricing. "

  • "The chef has changed and so has the menu. We were there a month ago and it was delicious. Now a new chef, much smaller menu and not nearly as good. Even the deserts were way below what they used to be. So unfortunate since it's a lovely space."

  • "My girlfriends and I had a great time here on 4/4/14. We were seated on time (had a reservation), and our server was friendly and attentive. We were allowed to take our time ordering, and stayed late after the plates were cleared so we appreciated not being rushed. The atmosphere is nice, not too noisy, but not fussy either. Now, the food -- you must order the polpo! We ordered 2 for the six of us and it was enough for each of us to have a little. Which brings me to my only complaint. The servings on everything, appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts are not very big at all -- I would have liked there to have been a little more of everything. Still, it was pretty delicious."

  • "The space is beautiful --def date worthy. The service, while very friendly, was a bit slow and disjointed. We didn't mind much bc we had time to kill anyway. The food is not quite up to what it aspires To be. Presentation is nice, at least. It's fine, just not Great. I'd be more likely to return for a drink than for anything else."

  • "Met a friend I hadn't seen in a while for an early dinner and it worked perfectly. The restaurant was ours at 5:30 pm and we made the most of it. Good wine, delicious Kale salad followed by pasta for her and the seafood soup (outstanding) for me. Didn't do desserts and did do a 2nd glass of wine. Felt welcome and the restaurant is beautiful. It is also pricy and will not be going back as much as I would like AND I will be going back."

  • "The ambiance is stunning. The appetizers were delicious---however there was about an hour wait between the apps and main course. Some problem in the kitchen. The maitre'de and manager kept on apologizing---they gave us our meals gratis----all the entrees were luke warm. We would go back to give them a second chance."

  • "Found Corvo Bianco on yelp before heading into the city for my birthday weekend and Allman Brothers show at the beacon. The pictures don't do it justice. It is a gorgeous restaurant. The food was amazing, fresh and flavorful. The meatball app and the beet salad with burrata were terrific. Pappardelle with short rib ragu was fresh and flavorful. The orata striped bass was killer. The service was impeccable and I never had to refil my own wine. Waitstaff, sommelier and bus boys all did a great job. Can't wait to return."

  • "I always find it amusing (ok, highly annoying) when you order appetizers for the table to share, in this case 4 diners, and the waiter fails to inform you that there are only 3 pieces per order. It's a very large space, so you would think they are used to groups. The food was delicious - but the appetizer and pasta portions were very small! You wouldn't have guessed it based on the prices... Dinner portions were 'normal' and tasty as well. Ambiance was enchanting; lovely space. Servers were extremely accommodating to our young child (and I loved the fact they have an actual changing table in the bathroom) - but patrons were not. While the restaurant may be kid-friendly, fellow diners were not. Good spot for quiet dates or parent visits."

  • "Corvo Bianco is by far 3 steps above any other Italian restaurant we have dined at on the UWS. The decor is lovely and the dining room has a spacious feel. The food, especially the whole grilled branzino, was excellent. The wait staff was attentive and very well informed. THey also have a reasonably priced wine selection.WE did not sit in the front bar area but it is very inviting looking and has several small tables as well as the bar itself. We are in the city about 80 days a year and stay on the Upper West Side.. I am sure that Corvo Bianco will become a favorite of ours. Welcome to the neighborhood !"

  • "I have eaten at this restaurant 6 times in the past 5 months. My wife and I love it. We tend to go on the early side because we have a 6 month old baby. The manager always greats us with a smile and has recommended some amazing wines. The food is fantastic. Pastas are home made. I've seen other reviews that say service is slow or portions are small. Can't say I have experienced any of these issues. I personally think that the restaurant is very reasonably priced relative to the quality of the food. Lastly, the space is gorgeous and the tables are spaced well so your not having to sit on top of your neighbor. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant."

  • "This little gem is steps from the Museum of Natural History. I have eaten there on six occasions and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is very special in the bar area and the separate dinning room. Food is very creative and tasty. I recommend it !"

  • "The food is ok but definitely not worth the high prices. Also the portions are very small. It is a pretty cool space and a fun ambiance at least by upper west side standards. This might be a decent choice for a group dinner that is more about vibe than food quality and if you're willing to pay a lot for that. Otherwise I can't recommend it. Bar area is pretty cool, worth dropping in for a drink but eat elsewhere."
