A word from Corner Kitchen
Tucked into a quiet corner of Biltmore Village is one of Richard Sharp Smith's original Tudor Style cottages, and one of Asheville's most surprising restaurants. Chef Joe Scully brings years of culinary experience to bear in his special North Carolina take on Pan-American cuisine (he calls it "Caromerican"), while host Kevin Westmoreland makes you feel as welcome as an old friend at breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Dine in the sunny “Side Porch”, where tables cluster around a generous bar, or in one of the cozy fireplace rooms - upstairs or down. When the weather's right, relax on the Patio and take in the singular beauty of Historic Biltmore Village. If you are looking for the perfect spot for your next meeting, luncheon or other group function, call or email and make arrangements for an unforgettably great special event.

My cousin and I had a wonderful brunch at Corner Kitchen on Sunday and our food was perfect. We ordered omelets and they were great. The sides of potatoes and grits were both delicious and the biscuits hot and fluffy. This restaurant has consistently good food, we always go here when our family is in Asheville.

Corner Kitchen was a great little place! I liked it being in a house. We ate upstairs, service was good and food arrived fairly quickly. There was a line waiting when we arrived and left, really glad we used open door, it was like having a fast pass. We enjoyed and plan to eat there again when we make it back to Asheville.

Excellent meal in a casual setting. There is a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, and some bar seating, and for the couple of hours we were there we saw a steady stream of people come and go. The food was very fresh and flavorful. We had a Jamaican jerk chicken - which had a nice tangy spice to it, and a pecan crusted trout, which was light and flaky and very tasty. We were told the menu changes frequently, but everything looked tempting. The wine list was decent, and the selection of other beverage options seemed to be good. The setting in Biltmore Village was quaint and peaceful, and we were seated by the window and could watch people strolling by. Highly recommended.

Our food was really tasty, service kind and personal, however we waited a lot longer than I expected for our appetizer (soup and shrimp) over 30 minutes and the restaurant was steady but not full. All our food was seasoned well, arrived hot, and we were made to feel special and appreciated as customers.

We were visiting Asheville for a wedding when we dined at the Corner Kitchen. Our server made great recommendations and each proved to be totally amazing. Starting with cocktails - The Heatwave - which was extraordinary, we proceeded to our entrees - My husband had the meatloaf and I, the pork chop - each full of flavors, each to be savored. The owner visited our table to greet us and was so friendly. He and our server were both attentive without being obtrusive. We inquired about the cocktail recipe for an upcoming getaway with friends where each couple brings a new cocktail to share. Before we departed, our waiter brought us the complete recipe. We only wish the Corner Kitchen was in Atlanta....It would be a favorite!

So I've been hearing really good things from this restaurant so I decided to have a date night here. The restaurant seemed nicer on the outside. You walk in and it's very plain white decor. I ordered the salmon with "udon" noodles. My salmon barely had any sauce on it so it was mostly dry. And the "udon" was, let's be real here, linguini noodles with some sort of weird peanut butter sauce on it. It was not good. Shame.

Our party of 4 THOROUGHLY enjoyed our breakfast for two days in a row. We made our reservation thru OpenTable for 9:15am, and on both days, we walked in and sat right down. Service was excellent as well as the food. On the first day, I had trout & poached eggs with grits, and they were prepared perfectly. Poached eggs are not always prepared right, but the Corner Kitchen not only makes poached eggs perfectly, but makes a perfect bloody mary to go with it!!! Then we headed off to the Biltmore Estate for a tour and an evening concert on the adjacent patio. So we made another reservation for the next day - and it was another great experience. I highly recommend the Corner Kitchen.

We love Corner Kitchen and have breakfast here regularly when traveling to Asheville. Of particular note are their grits - creamiest I've ever had anywhere... Their take on a 'Belgian' waffle is equally pleasing. We also enjoyed lunch here during this trip - one club sandwich is big enough to share. Then, there is more room for dessert! A Biltmore gem!

Ordered the grouper & chicken breast. The grouper portion was very small & dry. The chicken was a little better. The presentation for both was good. We have been to this restaurant before & never had any problems with either the food or service. In retrospect, I should have sent the fish back. But I didn't. So it was my fault.
