We were thrilled to find this gem of a restaurant near the Savannah College of Art and Design dorms. the portions were large, the service was great, and the menu diverse. It's easy to bring hope "doggie bags" once you start eating the freshly made bread dipped in olive oil and parmesan cheese. We will definitely be back.

We went here after looking for an affordable family friendly restaurant that wouldn't break the bank. This was exactly what we were looking for. The portions are HUGE so consider sharing. The food was very flavorful and the waitstaff was friendly and prompt. You can't go wrong unless you are looking for something more upscale.

Another fantastic meal at what has become one of my favorite spots in downtown Savannah. I recommend starting off at the bar for a glass of wine from their fantastic selection (especially if they are having a more energetic night in the dining area). Things quiet down after 8:30 and the personal service is always fantastic. The food was impressive yet again and I always recommend saving room for the creme brûlée. Bon appetite!

Corleone's is the type of trattoria one might find in the back street of Naples - dark and cosy - but sticky table tops, noisy guests and more than average food made for an unmemorable dining experience. The price was rather high for such low end fare

The garlic bread with mozzarella and fresh basil was just right for the appetizer. Salad plates were refrigerated nicely and the server didn't rush the meal yet was attentive but not standing in my pocket. The marinara was excellent with a blend of tomatoes, garlic, cheeses and olive oil, with fresh basil. With an Italian background from the northeast, I thought I might be on the upper east side.

The restaurant is located on the corner of MLK Jr Blvd and W.Broughton St. It is within walking distance to several hotels and shops. The hostess station/waiting area is small and the tables in the dining area are close together. I would not recommend this restaurant for intimate romantic dinning, the atmosphere is more for families or meeting up with friends. The lasagna was a generous portion and tasted very good, worth the $14. The portion size of the lobster ravioli was smaller than expected and tasted ok, not worth the $23. The tiramisu is a generous portion size but the taste was just ok, the ladyfingers/sponge portion of the dessert was dry, it either didn't have enough espresso or it hadn't been given time to sit before serving.

  • Birthday Dinner
    Borodoc
    Dined on 7/11/2014
Friends took me to Savannah for a birthday dinner. We were seated promptly with drink orders made immediately. Fresh bread was brought out with a great pesto/cheese/olive mix. Appetizer was shared--bruschetta--toasted bread, nice hunk of mozzarella drizzled with balsamic vinegar and copious tomatoes to place on top. Two had the Spinach Salad with they enjoyed. I had the Caesar which was a bit overdressed but tasty. All salads were huge and could have easily been shared. Our main courses were all good---huge portions--Chicken Parmsean, Veal Parmsean, and Veal Picatta. Desert was the Creme Brulee which was great! Our server was very attentive and no unexpected pauses in the delivery of the food. This was my first trip. Will return.

We ordered several dishes. It was our first time. I got the mussels in red sauce. There were only 10 mussels and the garlic in it was extremely overwhelming. I also got the fettuccini alfredo there were so many shallot's and garlic in it again that's all you tasted. I'm Italian and my grandmother nor myself ever put shallots or garlic in our alfredo. Yuk! My friend got the lasagna it was cold in the middle but very tasty, my daughter got the chicken parm. and a salad. She had to send the salad back because the lettuce was brown and wilted, nasty. The chic parm. was at least the best of this meal. We had to ask our waitress to bring us some bread not once but twice. That's something that should have been put on the table when we sat down.

I rave to so many about the quality of the information and rating of opentable App restaurants. This is my first disappointment in all of my travels and many uses of the App. I have been part of larger group outings and have traveled alone on business using the App to assure reservations at top restaurants. This is definitely not one of them. The food, ambiance and drink selection were sub-standard and not at all what I have come to know through my OpenTable experiences. :(

My bridesmaids and I dined here during my bachelorette weekend. It is a must-stop place every time I am in Savannah and once again it did not disappoint. We made reservations and were shown to our table on arrival. Tate was our server- he was fun, friendly, and took great care of us. The wine and food, of course, were delicious. I also love the historic and classic atmosphere of the restaurant.

Although we were a bit disappointed in our calamari appetizer (the breading was perfect but, alas, the calamari tough), every other course of our meal was good (salad) to excellent (veal & dessert). Plus the service was outstanding. Management compensated for the appetizer by providing a complementary dessert. Regardless of the rough start, we will return because finding good Italian cuisine is not easy in the deep South.
