Our Server had a good knowledge of the wines available and was able to discuss them in good detail. We were a party of four, our food came out hot and on time. Our Server was attentive throughout our meal and did not make us feel rushed even though there was a wait to be seated. I would definitely dine at this Restaurant again. We started with Stone IPA ON DRAFT!! -what a treat that was!! with the mussels in white sauce Excellent ! extra bread for dipping the sauce up! We ordered wine with dinner ~ But the wine that was not available~ Laurie suggested an alternative ( same price - a lot of servers will try to get the price up !) Her choice was good!For main entree I had the Veal Piccita EXCELLENT!- with enough for lunch the next day My husband had the Veal Parm I don't know how his was Except to say He had none left on plate for me to taste or for lunch!! It was 7:00 on a Friday. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. She seemed to be making the table right next to us her priority by being very attentive to them and chatting while we would wait for refills, a to-go box, and our check. We felt like an afterthought; she would quickly breeze by and give us an "Is everything alright"? then speed off to her other tables or the kitchen. Either way, my date and I are both easy going people and were eventually laughing at it, because it was so blatent.
This would never stop me from eating there. We had an authentic restaurant where we lived before and I thought I would never find better except in Italy, boy was I wrong! We dined on a Tuesday evening so the restaurant was fairly empty and quiet, which was nice. The food was fabulous from the bread, to the salads, to our entrees (I had the chicken parmesan and my husband had a pasta with Italian sausage), to dessert (we split a piece of tiramisu). Everything tasted fresh and was extremely flavorful. The portions were not huge but in no way small. Out server, Tate, was very attentive and efficient.
