Pretty good food; very good waiter. The indoor space is ok, but not special. I think the outdoor would be lovely, but it was dark when we dined there, so can't comment from experience. Charcuterie plate was kind of dull. Entrees (seafood stew & lamb shank, both off the specials list) we're both quite good. Had a mini cheesecake for desert; it was ok, if not memorable. On the whole--it's a good place, but not quite 4 stars to me.

The menu is a little exotic, if you are not use to 'garden to table' style dining. The server was very helpful discussing the options and making sure we understood the intricacies of each dish. No full bar if you need a cocktail, but they offer a wonderful wine selection. Bon Appétit!

We were on a wine vacation in Sonoma County and Corks was a highlight of our trip. We had lunch outside on the patio on Thursday 10/9 and the entire meal was fantastic! There were 7 of us and the wait staff and kitchen did everything we asked to accommodate our requests. The food and atmosphere were both a #10. I would highly recommend Corks to all who are in wine country.

My wife and I recently went here during our honeymoon. We instantly fell in love with the views, food, and wine. We liked Corks so much that we bought a wine club membership so that we could have an excuse to go back. The food was excellent along with the service. It feels like you're a part of their family.

This restaurant has a special place in our hearts. We came here for dinner the night my husband and I got engaged and then we had our wedding at Russian River Vineyards, which is part of the restaurant, or vice versa. Every time we have visited, the food, the service, and the grounds seem to improve. We are happy to have this special place to go back to year after year. The owners are very involved, but give the fantastic Chef Ruben Gomez the freedom to make what he loves. Not only that, you have to love a restaurant where the chef still comes out to the greet the guests and ensures they are loving their meals. :)

Went on Friday Oct 3rd with 5 cousins on reunion. It was a perfect night and we sat on gorgeous deck. Matthew was the waiter of my dreams! The corn and tomato risotto off charts. Go when Morris is playing. He is divine. At the end we were hugging Morris , Matthew and others for a perfect evening. The setting on a deck next to the vineyard s cannot be duplicayed. Lights strung overhead gave us a muted but perfectly acceptable ambiance. There r 2 laid back dogs that wander and check out folks. More mellow dogs could not be found. We had lovely appetizer and several had rigatoni special. Decadent chocolate mouse mini cake polished off evening. if u go ask for Matthew's table. A more whimsical and lovely fun spirit would be hard to find.

We enjoyed a great evening - dining outdoors (yes there were heaters for those in need - also there was indoor seating available). The pasta was great and angus beef was delicious. We enjoyed the winery's own "Chester's Zin" which was great. Sheryl who seated us checked in with us throughout the evening to make sure water/wine was topped up as well as sharing interesting stories. Matthew our waiter was very entertaining as well as attentive to our needs. All and all a great evening!

We were expecting a much more active dining experience. At 8 PM our group (4) was the only remaining one in the restaurant. Our waiter was entertaining, interesting and wine knowledgeable. Food menu was limited. Food quality was very average. My wife's pasta dish was cold when it arrived - they reheated it (microwaved) and seriously reduced the quality. Overall rating: Very average. $$ could have been much better spent.

My wife and I are from the midwest and we both love a good steak. The menu steak that my wife ordered was very well prepared. Rare means rare here. My NY (or KC) strip special was well flavored, tender and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was fun and very helpful with pairing a wine. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner - we have been dining at this location every summer for the past 30 plus years! We both agreed that it is now the best it has ever been. It has a lovely venue, with both outdoor and indoor dining and its' own vegetable garden. I had the rabbit entree - excellent; in a savory sauce, farm fresh veggies and delicate pasta; my husband had the night's fish special - an amazingly delicious fresh fish stew with halibut, scallops and prawns in a broth that was so light and flavorful. The service could not have been better - it was one of those rare, totally delightful, delicious dinners out that will long be remembered.

It was a beautiful evening to enjoy dinner on their outdoor patio under the redwood trees. Our waiter had a delightful sense of humor and guided us through menu choices and wine pairings. He was attentive but not hovering and made excellent recommendations. One member of our party ordered the scallops and said they were outstanding. The location, outdoor patio, menu and wine offered by Corks make for an excellent dining experience.

Corks is a wonderfully warm, inviting spot for a great dinner or brunch. Situated in the gorgeous West Sonoma wine country, surrounded by vineyards and with its own winery on site. Our food was great, service impeccable and the perfect ambience. I needed a break from a very hard work day and this was like going on vacation for a night! We were here last year for our daughter's rehearsal dinner and it was the perfect evening then too with many more people in tow.

This is one of the Forestville restaurants we have been meaning to go. Living in Healdsburg we have a good selection of restaurants to choose from and a restaurant has to be very special for us to travel further afield. We were delighted with the comfortable, outdoor setting. The food was excellent California style so we could enjoy the true taste of the ingredients enhanced by the sauce, rather than overwhelmed by it. The staff was attentive and in no way pretentious. I have already recommended it to friends and are planning to return with visitors soon.

We've visited the restaurant at the Russian River Vineyards about a half a dozen times in the past 7 or 8 years. We applaud the owners of Corks. The food is great, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service is very gracious. Of course, the wine is wonderful. This isn't an overly landscaped, tourist-infested patio at a huge vineyard. It's nice, a little out of the way, and charming. It's small and a bit quirky (they have added both dragon-themed, outdoor "art" and vintage trucks to the exterior decor. We weren't sure where it was headed, but we thought is was delightful. Visit Corks....you will want to visit again.

I reserved a table at Corks restaurant so my wife and I could enjoy a 'date night' together. This restaurant is on a lovely setting just off of highway 116 on the Russian River Vineyards grounds featuring locally sourced, seasonal meats and produce. The idea is to eat Al fresco so you can enjoy the grounds and scenery. Service was attentive, and all the staff we encountered worked very hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and our meal. I had brought along a bottle of the wineries Chardonnay and was pleasantly surprised when our server offered to swap my bottle for a chilled version of the same vintage. All the dishes we ordered were well prepared and presented. We enjoyed the whole experience and look forward to our next meal here!

The only negative at all was it was too cold and they didnt have a heater they could put near our table. The place wasn't full and they offered us a table where they could put a heater but that was right next to the guitar player. It gets cool at night and I think they should have more heaters and configure the outside so more tables could have heaters. They also could have putus at a table for four with heater as they weren't full buttheydidnt want todo that.

I had an amazing afternoon relaxing on the outdoor patio of the Russian River Vineyards/ Corks Restaurant with a group of friends this weekend! It was my first time there, and I was blown away by the charming ambiance, great service from EVERYONE who worked there, and delicious food. My only minor complaint would be the time we waited for the food to come out once we ordered (we took our sweet time wine tasting before lunch though, so it wasn't like we were in a rush to go anywhere) so maybe order 20-30 minutes before you decide that you're starving! I will definitely be making my way back there the next time I'm in the wine country.

Eat outside if you can. The surroundings are unique and breathtaking. Food and service were wonderful. There was a musician playing the violin, often improvising along the way. We were treated like royalty!
