Both the food and ambiance are sublime. Picture yourself dining amidst Redwoods with superb courses and wine and a passionate wait staff as your guides. Take a break before the 4th course (dessert) to stretch your legs and view the hypnotic Sonoma County sunset over their farm.

The Restaurant at Russian River Vineyards. PHENOMENAL - One of my Best Dining Experiences! Please look at my pictures - they tell the story better than writing a book. Chef Ben Davies & Duff, plus staff. The Chef's Tasting Menu. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff is excellent, particularly Duff - the man is a machine with all the style and grace you would expect as if he were wearing a Tuxedo. His wine knowledge was outstanding. I rarely find someone that understands, more so, that I can say "it's up to you" and he blows me away with his choices. Wines that were greatly unexpected and completely appreciated. Stop it - I'm Gushing - Loved it!! Great Staff too. The Food was delicious - each course, I would call it complex how Chef Ben Davies puts these courses together. I was in Awe. He calls some courses snacks which is just his modesty on the page. Like every great Chef it's about you and your enjoyment. 8 Courses + My new Favorite Restaurant. (Hearts across the page - and made with hands). All of it made sense - a huge garden that the Chef goes and gets fresh produce out of. Don't wait for a special event, just go, treat yourself. I'm going back.

Amazing place. Wine parings and tasting boards were not only terrific, but beautifully presented. Casual yet exactly what is right for such an experience. Will be back!

As a member it pains me to write this review as I recall how great this experience was last year. There was a recent change where they no longer do full service food. When we arrived it was to be our lunch point. They serve a charcuterie but only at the bottom level overlook, not at where we were actually tasting the wines. But the biggest and really substantial issue is the lack of service. Wandering off after pouring without explaining what we were drinking. Had difficulty throughout trying to get done one to help or answer a question even though there was barely any other customers and seemingly a lot of staff. It was a quiet Friday and not a busy weekend. Horrible experience!

Such a special place. Some of the best service I've had in a long time. I cannot wait to come back! The food was to die for! Wish the serving portions were bigger, but delicious!

My husband and I came here after spending the weekend in the area. Another nearby winery (Tafts) recommended it to us because they serve delicious food. We made a weekday lunch reservation for their tasting lounge. We enjoyed sitting outside and had fantastic service. The tasting lounge does small plates meant for sharing that pair beautifully with their wine tasting menu. The wines we tasted were excellent, and we loved all of our food (especially the pork belly sliders!).

We chose the 7 course dinner meal with wine pairing. Wow. Creative, beautifully presented, very tasty and the wines paired perfectly. Portion sizes were just right. Some of the ingredients come fresh from their own garden. Service was impeccable..cant say enough about the great staff..lots of attention to detail. Cheers.
