Cork & ForkYummy little platesWe shared everything we ordered. The farmers market salad was delicious along with the cheese plate to start. The green goddess salad was a little disappointing but the Asian spareribs, sliders and 6 cheese Mac and cheese more then made up for it. All day happy hour on Wednesday and Sunday made the meal a great price. We will definitely be back!5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is unique and totallyFood is unique and totally worth many visit to taste
all Busy by 6 pm on weekends, small place st make

Looking forward to a return visit so we can try more tasty morsels.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall Plates-Big TasteThe food always impresses, the sauces are spectacular and the wine pairings are wonderful.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent restaurant! We have so few restaurants of this quality in the Coachella Valley. I had read about it in the newspaper and heard that it was wonderful, but it is beyond wonderful. Interesting blend of flavors and textures. It has the kind of menu that you would see in LA or San Francisco. The only drawback is that it is noisy and crowded because it is so popular. A great find!5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe 4 of Us Loved it!Great tasting food. Brought friends for a special occasion. Will go again soon without the need of a special occasion. Hats off to the chef!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall Plates are greatWe don't like large meals especially in the evening. We prefer sharing a bottle of wine and a couple of small plates. Sitting at the bar is comfortable for us. Cork & Fork suits us perfectly.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMterrific food, especiallyterrific food, especially the ahi poke and dates stuffed point reye blue cheese. Can get noisy. Excellent, attentive, friendly service. Nice decor. Can't wait to go back.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic! This is our 4rd time at Cork & Cork and we have been blown away with the quality of the food and service every time. This is a don't miss restaurant in the desert and worth the drive to La Quinta. Everything is wonderful and we try different items each visit. The small plates are plenty big and shared among three of us. We left very happy!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this placeThe Cork and Fork is my new most very favorite restaurant in the Desert.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was a fabulous find! This was a fabulous find! The bar tender Kim was a doll and offered up tremendous service. We will definitely be back. So happy we found the COrk and Fork!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWas quite impressed as a firstWas quite impressed as a first time diner. Was greeted warmly & then guided to a nice table near the kitchen that allowed us to view everything. The space & design was really terrific with dynamic color hues. We enjoyed a bit of almost everything (date plate, farmers salad, margherita pizza, thai shrimp cakes, fish tacos & firecracker baby back ribs). There is decent wine list either via flights or bottle. Our server was friendly & efficient & we were given clean flatware & new plates as needed. Definitely will go back & finally all I can say is it is nice that this area has something new & top notch as most of the restaurants are old, tired & overpriced.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMPlenty of choices for allPlenty of choices for all kinds of eaters--unless you have someone who refuses to share. The small plates make it fun to try a variety, but if you have more than 4 people, be sure and ask how many pieces are included. We doubled up on ribs and shrimp cakes to go around. Salted Butterscotch pot du creme is worth hoarding all to yourself!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was fabulous. TheThe food was fabulous. The restaurant is much too noisy and we may not go back specifically due to that.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat outstanding eveningSuper food concept with freshness and excellent service . The entr'ees are a manageable size, the wine is a great value, the food is great and the ambiance is refreshing. The wait staff acted as though they really were concerned that everything was to our liking.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWE HAVE BEEN TO CORK AND FORKWE HAVE BEEN TO CORK AND FORK 5 TIMES IN ABOUT 4 MONTHS AND FIND IT THE GEM OF THE DESERT. We very much enjoyed our dinner there. Price moderate. Excellent wine list -- it is a wine bar as well as restaurant.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMLa quinta really needed aLa quinta really needed a place like this! Walking/biking distance, casual feel but high end quality food at a reasonable price. I highly recommend enjoying a light meal you can share at this place!4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience! Each member of our party of four remarked how much we enjoyed the evening because of the food and help of the server.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAn ever-changing, magicalAn ever-changing, magical menu of wonderful meal selections... East Coast ambiance in 'laid back' La Quinta!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and service.Excellent food and service. Small restaurant so it felt "cramped" but nonetheless we had a great experience. Excellent food!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMA very good neighbourhoodA very good neighbourhood restaurant. We enjoyed our food and wine as well as our server. Mac & cheese was incredible.
We would recommend Cork & Fork but would ask our server next time to please slow down a bit.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall Plates, Great TasteI love the idea of small plates! Trying all kinds of delicious foods is a great way to indulge the senses. The edamame were fabulous...the tomato soup was equally delicious. The Fiecracker pork ribs were tender and falling off the bone but needed a little zing, I thought. Where did the Firecracker come in? Not to worry, the sauce on the Tai shrimp cakes was perfect for use on the ribs. We were disappointed in that the shrimp cakes were so dense....we were expecting a lighter consistency. I am eager to return and try all of the other offerings.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious in Every WayThis small restaurant is truly a neighborhood gem. The decor is stylish and classy with a small bar where food is served, and french-style banquette seating along one wall. For those of us who prefer taste over volume, the menu is ideal. A wide variety of small dishes and a nice choice of wines, cocktails and artisan beers. The service is low-key and pleasant and in spite of a full seating, the food appeared at our table without delay.
The tables are close together, but with the dark-toned interior and classy feel, the buzz of conversation just adds to the overall ambiance.
This could become a favourite for us and our visitors. Reserve early for popular seating times.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMService, food, wine all rightService, food, wine all right up there. Decor was lovely. Tables are small, but the portions to share were a good size. Three items among the two of us was a little too much..but who is complaining?4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMEspecially loved the farmersEspecially loved the farmers market salad and margarita pizza.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is the second time IThis is the second time I have been to the Cork and Fork. I throughly enjoyed each time.
The Fresh Market salad is amazing. The pizza was outstanding.
I think it is a great place for girlfriends to enjoy the small plates sharing concept of dining.
I will definitely be back.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMIn my last review, I hopedIn my last review, I hoped for more healthy fish options. They delivered in the new menu!

Make reservations as it is very popular!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMParticularly friendly serviceParticularly friendly service in this casual small plates/wine bar restaurant. Great selection. Everyone will find multiple dishes they want to order. The pork tacos and rustic pizza were outstanding. Note, they serve just beer and wine (and soju), no liquor.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was a great dining experience. This was a great dining experience. Many restaurants offer small plates but the dishes at Cork and Fork are much more original and much more tasty. I was pleased with happy with everything ordered at our table. We are not wine connoisseurs but very satisfied with that as well. This goes on our list of special fun places for my husband and I but also on the list to take visitors3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's all about the salad! Our first time to this restaurant after a few tries. It books up very quickly. Is is a pretty spot in a strip mall. Our service was excellent but the food was inconsistent. The happy hour wine was pretty poor so we changed to a glass off the menu. Our sweet potato fries were undercooked, the farmers salad with brussel sprouts ( which I normally hate) was to die for, the short ribs were great but the pizza was mediocre. I'll go back for the salad.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's oue favorite place inIt's oue favorite place in the conchella vslley. Andie the chef is a sheer genuis with ingredient combination. Jane is a warm friendly and welcoming owner. We eat there at least once a week.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGREAT FINDWe went with a group of 5 and ordered 7 menu items to share, which were all DELICIOUS. They are small plates/portions but we all left full. Looking forward to going again as the menu is very extensive and we want to try some of the other items.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant was recommendedThis restaurant was recommended to us and definitely lived up to the recommendation. GREAT FOOD! I would highly recommend it..3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMHave now tried virtually everythingHave now tried virtually everything on the menu. Everything remains great. Our server, Stephanie, even recommended the cook book published by the chef. It was quickly purchased by my wife, who is a great cook in her own right.
We love this place!3/8/2013 12:00:00 AMA Foodies DelightAnd incredible find. Very unique menu items paired with interesting wines. Chef Andie has a gift for putting food together. A must try when in La Quinta, it will have you coming back. The Date Plate is as much an Snack as a Dessert!3/6/2013 12:00:00 AMA Desert FavoriteLove this place!!! Judging by the turnout in the restaurant I am not alone. All choices were excellent, well prepared, beautifully presented and quickly served. Service was outstanding, especially since the restaurant was very busy. Server was very pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. Since there were only two of us, we couldn't try too many items. The pizza was superb, thin crust was perfect and at $12 very filling. We also had the Thai shrimp cakes, sliders, and the house cured salmon, all delicious. If you like small plates you will love it. Wine and beer reasonably priced as well!2/27/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great meal! TheyAnother great meal!
They have already made a few nice menu additions and wine list additions.
Great food, friendly service, and some nice moderately priced wine make this one of our new favorite spots in the valley.
Ask for Dani to wait on you...she is great.2/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThis brand new tapas/wineThis brand new tapas/wine bar is located in a small strip mall half a block from Washington St. In La Quinta...a bit hard to see from the main road, but worth the trip. Chef/owner Andie's new place is a winner from the start. This charming little spot has a limited menu of small dishes and a nice, moderately priced wine list. All of the dishes we sampled were terrific and full of flavor. The prosciutto carpacci,.the Neapolitan pizza, the short rib raviolos, and the pork tacos were all very good. The service was very friendly and efficient. Only suggestion...a little too much use of cartelized onions on the menu. We assume the menu will change on a semi-regular basis, as this will keep regulars interested for a long time to come.1/19/2013 12:00:00 AMOur second visit confirmedOur second visit confirmed what we learned on the first visit to C & F...this is a great new restaurant serving excellent food and moderately priced wine. The service is very friendly, yet professional. This time we tried the salmon special, the shrimp cakes, and the special artichoke soup. All we wonderful. Try the Caramel pot du creme with smoked bacon for dessert....it's to die for.
This is now one of our new favorite spots in the desert!2/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
