  • "My husband and I had a fun time choosing our small plates. We loved the grown up grilled cheese and their pizza is out of this world! Should have tried the bruschetta, every other table was ordering it but decided on the filet tacos and shrimp tacos. I loved the filet tacos but we could have passed on the shrimp. Last but not least the kings hawaiian bread pudding, fantastic!! Great wine and good service, we left stuffed, when we come back to the area this will be our first stop!"

  • "First off, I'd like to say that I try new restaurants all the time looking for the best food. Not one place in the desert has had an appetizer as good as their Goat Cheese Bruschetta. I am not lying when I say that it is one of the better apps I have had in years... and to make me say that about a bruschetta dish is impressive. The restaurant is in a small strip mall (like most restaurants in the desert) but the second you enter Cork and Fork, the ambiance of the place instantly makes you forgot where it is. The place is small, but packed. The wait staff was amazing and the food came out at an impressive pace. Not too fast-not too slow. Other dishes worth trying - Seared Diver Scallops, Ahi Poke Nachos and for desert the Sunday Sundae. A+"

  • "We are here in La Quinta for the first time and used Open Table for finding a restaurant and picked Cork and Fork. We picked four share dishes and they were all delicious, especially the truffle honey. Our waitress was great, very friendly and smart. We arrived in time for the Happy Hour specials and enjoyed a nice glass of Syrah. Great evening!"

The blue cheese brushetta was amazing as well as so many of their other plates. Pretty good wine list too. We will definitely be back!!! The interior is small so make a reservation!"

Filet and shrimp tacos, Farmer's Salad, daily soup, mussels, shrimp cakes, pizzas, sliders, mac and cheese and the list of our favorites go on and on… We have never been unhappy and LOVE everything on the menu!"

  • "We went to this restaurant based upon the recommendation of a friend who is a local. It turned out to be just great. They have interesting small plates to share and a variety of entrees. An eclectic wine list that is reasonably priced was also a bonus. The 4 of us shared and loved the thai shrimp cakes, the filet mignon tacos, the mac and cheese, shrimp tacos, and the flatbread. We also shared a couple of salads. The service was excellent. Overall a great find."

Our server tried to turn over the table far too quickly when there were empty tables. The wine list and food are not inexpensive. With a bill of $120 for 4, a person would expect a nicer pace."

  • "Small, friendly place with wonderful small plate portions. Against my usual MO my wife and I tried the house wines, she with a white blend and me with a red blend from Argentina. Both were surprisingly good!. We started with splitting the prosciutto carpaccio which had a tasty honey mustard sauce. It was delicious and I will order one just for me next time. My wife had the Thai Shrimp Cakes with nicely balanced flavors and I had the scallops with a sweet cream leek and corn succotash and truffled arugula...amazingly good! Will definitely go again. Only negative: Asked for a table up against the wall as several seemed open but were required to sit in the middle. Not a big deal but worth mentioning."

On Fridays and Saturdays they open an outside patio which is very charming and quieter than the inside restaurant. Would recommend to friends who especially like a different dining experience."

If features a variety of small plate dishes--from Ahi Tartare on a Wonton to the Cher's daily Mac and Cheese special. The tastes are all unique and amazingly fine tuned. The wines are terrific and there is a nightly special wine as well as a wine/sparking wine drink of the evening. I would definitely return to this restaurant next time I am in the area!!"

  • "I had never experienced this before, anywhere. The first clue is when you make your reservation there is a stern warning that it is good only for 10 minutes and then your assigned table is given away. When I was going to be 15 minutes late I called a day in advance and they called back with another stern warning that my table was already assigned for a later seating and that there was a limited time available. So we had our wine at home to save time. Their dining space is very, very small so they have to manage it closely. I get that. But at Chapellis (which is also small) I never feel pressure. Too bad I won't be going back because their food is excellent and the service was too. Just too popular with too much pressure to be enjoyable."
