The food was fabulous (we understand there is a new chef?) and we were lucky enough to have Rodney serve our table. His food & wine knowledge mixed with quick wit & polite demeanour made our evening very memorable. The choices on the menu were so incredible, we had to order two things and split them. We shared the croque madame with crab. The egg was runny, the crab was fresh and sweet and it was served with a nice side of greens dressed with lemon juice which was perfect to cut the richness of the dish. We also split a dish which was RIDICULOUS. It was lobster hash served with a poached egg on top that was accompanied by pork belly, house cured smoked salmon and housemade smoked sausage. We devoured it and were in heaven. The brunch drink list was also inventive. The bloody mary with a freshly shucked oyster and grapefruit mimosa were excellent. Well balanced plate and decent price for the level of quality food. Loved the classic rock playing. Really made for a comfortable, credible atmosphere.
