  • "I went for restaurant week but had been wanting to try for a while. The salad was fresh, the steak cooked perfectly, the dessert fantastic. My drink was so tasty. It's a pricey place but its expected of a steak house. Our waiter was great! Everything came out in a timely manner. Will definitely go back for a special occasion. Would go back more often it it weren't for the price and being in Franklin. But they don't seem to have a problem with attracting customers and the food and service are certainly some of the reasons why."

That said on the nights that he is not there the other servers have also been great! Great management - Graham always greets my wife and I when we are there and shows his appreciation of the regular frequence of our visits. I recommend Cork and Cow and definitely recommend the Bone In Filet!"

  • "We went the other night for a impromptu date night. My wife had the burger which was outstanding, but I had the pan roasted duck. I attempted to eat it since I was raised not to complain about food. I got half way through it and began to gag because it was under cooked and not enough fat was rendered out. We said something to waiter who was very accommodating, but the manager who came by was very rude and condescending. Because of the manager we will not be returning. Very disappointing."

  • "I took my 2 sons here several weeks back in search of a new steak place since Stoney River seems to have forgotten how to cook. It was great and we decided that though really expensive, it would be our new mainstay for celebrations. Came back last week for the celebratory dinner before college starts and it wasn't very good at all. The filet that I had was just a bad cut of meat that was poorly seasoned. My wife's fish was way too salty. The Mac and Cheese was as great as always. But for over $200 for 4 people without drinks, not great."

  • "Overall great experience. Food was delish..I started with chared oysters...lots of flavor, thr they had a litltle hit of cayenne, the parm and Panko made them pop! Also had the grilled snapper with Zaffron risotto. .the rice was a bit undercooked but still yummy, very creamy. . Fish was cooked perfectly. ..we ordered a side of mac & cheese that was to die for..talk about ooey gooy goodness!! Also very creamy and it melted in your mouth...for dessert. ..the creme brulé. ..OMG...this has to be the best creme brulé I have ever had..the sugar was perfectly burnt not bitter..the creme was just sweet and rich! I wanted more! Drinks are a little over priced, our waiter seemed nervous..and was kind of rushing us off the table.!"

  • "This place with both beautiful and rustic at the same time. The snapper was incredible and focaccia bread has an interesting twist. My only reason for giving it four stars is because I was a table of one, and while the waiter was attentive and appropriate, he seemed a little disappointed that it was only myself. I still had a check of almost $100 so that shouldn't have disappointed. If you were in the neighborhood, definitely give it a try. Worth the reservation."

  • "for a restaurant built around steaks, we found ours disappointing. We both had the filet - my husband's was overcooked and mine was undercooked. The sides we ordered were excellent, but the portions very small for sharing (asparagus had only 5 spears). I doubt we will go back."

  • "We went to Cork and Cow based on relative's rec. It was an outstanding meal! Every course was delicious....from the char grilled oysters, to the heirloom tomato salad, the bread and especially the filet. The drinks, the wine....perfect. Our waiter, Eric, did not miss on any of his suggestions. Franklin is fortunate to have so many great restaurants and this is certainly high on that list! Can't wait to be there visiting again!"

  • "I've eaten at this restaurant a number of times in the past and, until my last visit, have always enjoyed my experience enough to want to return. Not so much on my last visit. It took our waiter 10 minutes to first arrive at our table. The crostini appetizer we ordered was bland and contained long and stringy blanched celery that caused the whole assembly to slide off the bread when we tried to eat it. I ordered a New York strip steak and received a ribeye (the waiter insisted I ordered the ribeye). My vodka martini was mostly water and ice. When I was leaving I could only conclude that, if my experience was not unique, Cork and Cow is now a restaurant in trouble and won't be around much longer."

  • "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the Cork & Cow. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and was happy to answer any questions and offer up recommendations. I had the cowboy ribeye and it was one of the better steaks I've had. My wife had the amberjack special which she really enjoyed. The caprese salad and Mac n cheese as sides and the chargrilled oysters as an appetizer. Highly recommend the restaurant for special occasions or date nights. It was a bit expensive, but I felt like it was still a good value for the food and service we were provided."

  • "The food and service were amazing at Cork and Cow. My husband and I went there for his birthday and we were blown away. Everything we ate was stellar and I have to say we are picky. The drinks from the bar were outstanding. The bone in Ribeye that my husband had was amazing and I had the scallops and shrimp gnocchi in a light cream sauce- I think I died and went to heaven... so good. All and all a great place I will return many times with friends and family. A unique spot that offers upscale dinning in the heart of downtown Franklin."

  • "My boyfriend took me to Cork & Cow for my birthday, and everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was outstanding. We started with zucchini fries, and he had a caprese salad, which he loved. For dinner, I had the shrimp, scallop and mushroom gnocchi, and he had the bone-in ribeye with the Mac & cheese. Everything was perfectly prepared, and the gnocchi was the best I've had. And, the tiramisu was the perfect ending. Oh, and our server, Adam, was wonderful - he was knowledgeable, personable and attentive. I can't say enough about this place!"

  • "Though we live a few hours away near Huntsville, AL we always enjoy visits to Franklin for shopping and fine dining. Cork & Cow is the latest addition to a small local restaurant group who's venues have always been out favorites. Cork & Cow as the name states does focus on fine wine and excellent beef dishes. But the menu has so much variety, and my wife and I enjoyed wonderful pork and seafood dishes. Cork & Cow is part of the ever growing list of restaurants with farm to table offerings - excellent local vegetables for salads and sides to accompany their entrees. Our server was very helpful in describing the choices and concept - and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to returning soon."

  • "The restaurant is small, which is good. My wife and I sat at the bar while we waited for our table, and I had their twist on an Old Fashioned. It was probably one of the best drinks I've ever had. Afterwards, we experienced some of the best food we've ever had. They cook with local meat and veggies, and everything was prepared perfectly. On top of that, the wine selection was excellent and our waiter was outstanding. It's very rare for us to experience a dinner like the one we had at Cork & Cow. I can't recommend it enough."
