Coquette BrasserieAlways reliably great foodAlways reliably great food and good menu options for all appetites. Accommodating, efficient staff.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for Mother's Day brunchI remembered the morning of that I had not called to update my reservation to ask for an outlet; my daughter, who was born after I made the reservation, is on a heart monitor. I called that morning (Mother's Day), and they were able to find us a very baby-friendly table right next to an outlet. The service was excellent, as was most of the food. The coffee was wonderful, even the decaf, and they kept our cups full. If we are in the area again, we will stop back for sure!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMNice Mother's Day brunchVery surprised and pleased to see reasonably priced specials plus regular brunch menu for Mother's Day5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat good and atmosphereThe food was great and the atmosphere reminded me of New Orleans... never been to France.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMQuiche to die forI go to Coquette Brasserie especially for the quiche. It is superb in all the right categories. Melt-in-your-mouth light and smooth with all the right ingredients no matter which one you choose to order.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBack for more!My wife and I have been to Coquette's on 4 or 5 occasions and each time the food, service and ambiance has been excellent. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in the Southeast.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat againon our must dine locale whenever our team is in Raleigh. the food is superb and the service excellent.
reminds me of the bistros in the south of France where I have a second home5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMSeatingWe have been to this Restaurant several times and this was the first time that we were seated at a table that was extremely
uncomfortable. The width of the table was no more than 20 inches and didn't leave room for dinnerware. etc. One side of the table
had a bench seat against the bar area. If ever seated there again, we will leave.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Restaurant in RsleighExcellent service and food. French comfort food and lots to choose from.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBest French Restaurant in the AreaI just love this restaurant. The food is perfectly prepared every time. The service is wonderful and friendly. The desserts are out of this world. Great for foodies! The wine was fine. I can't say enough good things about this place. We've been there now 5 or 6 times and it has been extraordinary every. single. time. Love it!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe saw a musical at the DukeWe saw a musical at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts and then a great dinner at Coquette Brasserie before returning home. It was a great way to gather, talk about the performance and eat wonderful food.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Restaurant met all myThe Restaurant met all my expectations for brunch. the only downer was that the crust on the bread used for the Eggs Benedict was partially burned which effected the taste for some portions of the meal. Otherwise every thing else was excellent.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been to this wonderfulHave been to this wonderful restaurant many times, and will return many more. Tried some new dishes this time - petite alsatian tart was creamy & delicious on a very thin crust; the mussels in red pepper w. chorizo sauce was double the usual portion of moules frites elsewhere, and of course their frites are superior.
Our waiter wasn't familiar enough with the beer selections to recommend anything but they did have my favorite aperitif, Lillet, and that always rates some extra points.
Overall a great bistro/brasserie feel and menu.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a lovely meal at Coquette,We had a lovely meal at Coquette, the service and food were excellent, it was a breezy day and the windows were all open - felt just like a french bistro!
One thing to note - if you go there for lunch, be aware that you need to let the staff know if you have a time limit, our meal was very relaxed and enjoyable, but we were a bit panicky when we realized how much time had gone by and we had to return to work!4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first visit toThis was our first visit to Coquette. The food was very good. I had the scallops and my dining partner had the pork. She ordered the pork medium but it arrived medium rare. It was returned to the kitchen and came back quickly at the right temperature. Both dishes were delicious. We ordered the profiteroles with cherry vanilla ice cream and frozen chocolate mousse for desert. They were excellent as well. The cherry vanilla ice cream was tart and the warm chocolate sauce was rich.
The noise level was high but we could still hold a conversation.
We'll definitely return.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was fantastic. IThe food was fantastic. I am on a GF diet so I often get nervouse trying a new place but these guys handled my special diet beautifully. My ONLY complaint, was a reaction from our server. Yes, it was a Friday night and we had reservations, and I'm sure that at that sort of place our ordering of water to drink was abnormal.... I am pregnant and my husband is a coke person (they serve Pepsi products) so we ordered water at the onset. The look on our waitresses face was utter disappointment when we did. I have been in the food service industry before, but the expression on her face was unnecessary. We did order a starter and made sure to leave a good tip even though we didn't have a huge alcohol tab.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for a night out with friendsWhat a great evening out with friends! Coquette was wonderful. I was meeting a friend and as it turned out our group grew by one and they accomodated us with no issue. Our waiter was friendly and explained the items on the menu (our French is pretty bad). Everyone enjoyed their food and dessert was fabulous.
Highly recommend.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMCoquette made my birthday happy!Went to Coquette for my birthday. I am a foodie so I love to try new restaurants, however, my brother is very picky so I have to write my review based on his response. He cleaned his plate! We started with oysters, escargot and the truffle frites which were to die for. I had the scallops which were perfectly seared and accompanied by all the right components. Both my mom and brother had steak with frites and both said they were cooked to perfection. Overall an excellent meal and I am planning to return for Mother's Day! Service was good and the ambiance was energetic. The acoustics are not super great so if you have a group, this might be a great place but for a quiet romantic dinner, not so much.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first time atThis was our first time at Coquette for brunch and we loved the experience! Look forward to returning for dinner and another brunch.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMI'll be back...I heard good things about Coquette from coworkers so thought I should check it out. I thought Coquette was a really nice restaurant. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and very French, and I love the partially outdoor seating areas that replicate little Parisian terraces. Very cute. I went for dinner but was told by a coworker that brunch is even better so I shall be returning for brunch.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMONE OF TOP [LAXES IN RALEIGH.OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS AWESOME. Our waiter David was knowledgeable and very helpful. CB always promises a satisfying food experience.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch TimeHusband and I had the smoked salmon, asparagus, boursin omelette. Both our omelettes did not have enough salmon, asparagus or boursin. In fact, it seemed there was barely one tablespoon of each. The omelette was too thick and not light and fluffy. Others in our party had the Croque Monsieur and French toast which were very good. The service was very good considering it was Easter Sunday at prime brunch time.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMOui!Truly enjoyed the food and service. Menu was great , hard to pick what to eat. Loved it.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had an excelent dinnerWe had an excelent dinner at Coquette's. The service was very good. The waiter had a number of tables, but handled it well. What else can we say?3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had eaten at Coquette onceWe had eaten at Coquette once before, and had a great experience. This time was no different. Our waiter was excellent and I found it very thoughtful of the restaurant to continue to fill our water glasses after we had already paid our bill. They did not rush us out even though it was not until after 11 when we left. The food was very good (much like I had in France) and the atmosphere was very romantic. We will definitely be back in the future.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed Sunday brunch - alwaysEnjoyed Sunday brunch - always a treat. Excellent service, excellent food, love the $10.00 endless Mimosas. The quiche was delightfully light and tasty. The coq au vin was excellent as were the profiterolles that completed the meal. The wine selection, by glass, is somewhat limited but there are numerous selections by the bottle. The ambiance has a French bistro feel. The menu offers several country French selections. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable meal with a francais-feel.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat BrunchThe apple and Brie creeps are ways good at coquette, but on this busy St Patrick's day. They were better than ever. The edges were crispy, the walnuts were extra sugary. Yum! Service was friendly and accommodating if a tad slow. All in all this is a great spot for brunch on any Sunday!3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMCoquette Brasserie is oneCoquette Brasserie is one of my favorite places for brunch/lunch and dinner. They didn't have oysters on the menu for lunch but they were happy to serve them. A little expensive for a dozen, but when you ask for something that is not normally provided, you have to be willing to pay a little more.2/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe new menu is terrific. The new menu is terrific.
