  • "We had an amazing dinner at Coppi for a friend's milestone birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The ambiance was wonderful - it's a funky, cool, gorgeously decorated spot, comfortable chairs and stylish decor. We will absolutely return! BEST barley risotto I've ever had!! Very flavourful homemade pasta, and incredible Tiramisu. A MUST try!!!! terrific service and delicious wine topped it all off! thanks so much for a wonderful evening!! I'm happy to highly recommend Coppi to anyone that wants a fantastic meal in a gorgeous spot!"

  • "Dined in a group of four for their summerlicious menu. The portions were small (very), but tasty (very). I had the halibut and the size of the piece was 1"x5". I don't like feeling hungry after a meal, and I'm a 5ft petite female! I also tasted the risotto, which was made of a grain other than rice? It was strange. Otherwise, the food was delicious and the service was quick and courteous."

  • "There was one service man that brought the appetizer to us in a rude way. He put down the dishes in front of our faces like there are your orders. Eat it. It was such a terrible manner that we wouldn't come to this restaurant again or recommend it to a friend. This server should treat everybody in the same manner regardless their background. Too bad. The food was excellent"

  • "Coppi is a tastefully decorated restaurant. I was pleased to arrive with a sign signalling there was valet parking. The food was nicely played but overall was just okay, I wasn't blown away. Shorter darker skinned waiter didn't seem very knowledgable and seemed irritated the moment we walked in the door. I did not get a good feeling from his demeanour throughout the service. When the bill came I noticed a 15$ charge for the valet to which I brought it to the waiters attention it was my first time there and nobody had notified me there was a charge nor any notice on the sign outside and if he could waive it this time. His response was that "we don't show the price for many of the services we charge, such as corking fee". Tsk tsk."

  • "Our first visit to Coppi was fabulous. Quirkily decorated with bicycle photos and scuptures, it has a warm, comfortable feeling with dark wood floor and lots of space between tables. Attentive professional service. Everything was delicious. We were there for lunch and will be back another day for dinner. Straight to top of where-would-we-like-to-eat list."

  • "I thought the food was quite pricey for what it was. Portions are small. My husband ordered a steak that was very chewy and returned it. We had fish was was tasty. Wine list expensive. Staff was reasonable, but not over friendly or helpful!"

  • "Coppi's summerlicious menu had more items to choose from than others, therefore we gave them a try. The hostess was very friendly and seated us quickly. When the two of us sat down, we told the waiter we would like some water. We ordered cocktails along with our meals when the server brought our glasses. The food was okay, but the service was not great at all. I can't help thinking that it's because we look young for our age, servers do not think it's important to provide us with good service. Instead, they focus on other tables of elderly couples or families. We had to ask when we wanted more water, we noticed other tables did not have to ask. We gave them more than 15% tips just to prove a point, which they did not deserve."

  • "Ordered the fresh seafood pasta and was greeted with amazing clams, mussels, scallops, squid and delicious shrimp all marinated in a appetizing tomato sauce and pasta. My friend has the crab stuffed ravioli and despite the modest portion, was very satisfied with the taste and the dining experience overall. Bread was fresh and crisp. Everything about the experience was enjoyable. The tables are perfect sizes, not too close together despite the open-room concept. Prices are on the higher scale, especially considering we went for lunch but the fresh, delicious food and well-made pasta made it worthy for me."

  • "The best part of this experience was the huge photograph on the north wall of bicycle spokes. Fabulous! Wish I knew the photographer's name. Only one of the four of us would return. The food was quite unique and taste wise ( which is the most important for me) ran the gambit from very good to just okay but I don't think I would want to pay their regular high price for it. Service was just passable: not warm and friendly or enthusiastic. Certainly not the way to win new customers. The restaurant itself was not even one quarter full - because of the cold weather or......"

The restaurant was busy but not all tables were occupied, the service was horrible, it took us 45 minutes to get a waiter to take our order, the food then took another 45 minutes to arrive and the food was not good. The portions wouldn't feed an infant, I get it that the price fixed menu means less revenue but not that much less. The appetizers were literally a bite, unless you ordered the steak the main courses were very small and the dessert was a sliver. After this experience we will not go back to this restaurant that we have been frequenting for a few years. It was very chincy and a huge turn off. It was an embarrassment as we treated our friends."

  • "My Girlfriend and I went here for Winterlicious 2014. I had the cuttlefish with peas and my GF had the cured beef as an app. The portions were TINY and it was nothing special at all. We waited ONE HOUR after that for our mains. I had braised veal with creamy polenta which was very nice, but my GF had the steak with russet mash which was very disappointing. The blonde server looks like she just came back from a funeral. The other servers were ok and the dessert was also just ok. I had a 5 oz glass of wine for 14 dollars. The total bill was nearly $100. Not worth it but I will say that the braised veal was a hit."

If Coppi chose to participate in Winterlicious as an opportunity to draw in new customers, I think they failed. There was nothing I ate that would inspire me to return."

  • "Coppi is not the same restaurant it was under former owner Fausto. The food was too salty and very tasteless. My scampi pasta had little sauce with very few tiny scampi. No one thought their dinner was good and the fish portions were small. The wine , (I tasted 3) was not great. The bottle of Barolo we ordered was c+. The service was slow, bread, salads, main and tea and coffee were greatly delayed in coming to the table. We would not go back despite the friendly owner."
