The food was ok: we had burgers, which more than likely were from frozen but had a good grilled flavor. The fries and homemade chips were good. Bartender made excellant drinks and she also waited our table, was friendly attentive and professional. Good chocolate cake and fresh strawberry shortcake.

Fish good steak poor, more mustard sauce could have covered up for the poor quality of steak salad poor, no lettuce just bitter crap salad dressing bad, practically no vinegar just oil onion soup good, needed salt but that's normal now a days service acceptable, not friendly, but fairly punctual Price especially drinks, very high.

After reading some of the reviews we were not sure what to expect. Our salads were fresh and well prepared. I had the chicken francaise. It was light and juicy; the sauce was excellent. It contained sun dried tomatoes and artichokes, which added additional flavor. My husband had the chicken pot pie. It was overturned and the "crust" was served on top. He said it was delicious. We shared the crime brûlée. It was perfect. Our waitress was attentive without being over bearing. There was a guitar singer in the bar area. His music provided a wonderful background.

We came here for Valentines Day and just again to celebrate our wedding anniversary. In my reservation I put that we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon entering we were greeted with a "happy anniversary" by both the hostess and our waitress. It was a wonderful feeling. It felt like they knew us.

We had a good dinner at Copperfield. When I made the reservations I noted that the occasion was our wedding anniversary. The hostess never acknowledged the occasion. We used to go to the Lakeside Inn for special occasions but haven't been there since it became the Copperfield Inn so we thought we would try it. The hostess said there were no Lakeside tables or views. The front porch seating is less than romantic facing the parking lot and a cemetery across the road. We had our entree and dessert inside at a table. Our waiter, Andres, was excellent.

A delightful lunch outside on the front patio. Long and leisurely with an old friend I hadn't seen in 5 years. Got there at 1pm. for my reservation. My friend was late due to traffic but that didn't seem to present a problem. We sat in front under cover and had a delightful breeze. It was quiet and we were left to our chatting with little interruption from the wait staff. Had a hard time deciding from the menu! Everything looked good and I loved the Margarita Martini! I will definitely go back, as I'd like to try some of the other choices on the menu! Since we were there for so long (3 hrs!) the very kind waitress offered us a tour! Many options for dining and parties for most occasions. Nice bar and seating indoors as well.

We were not overly impressed w Fathers day brunch. We were seated in the dark bar area far away from food. It felt like we were not part of the special celebration. Why not have everyone seated in the huge n practically empty banquet room w linen covered tables? No one greeted myhusband to say Happy Fathers day. Food was average and we certainly missed a roast beef carving station. Price too high for average dining experience. Bear Creek did a better job w Fathers day brunch

We we're let down again at Copperfield Inn. The last time we ate there was two Easter's ago. We decided to try it again. The food was ok. The service was ok. My husband's steak was over cooked and lacked flavor of anything but the flavor from the grill. My son had the steak medallions and he also said there was no flavor to the dish. I had the chicken and roasted pepper crepes. It was the best dish of the three. My son said it was almost as if there were two different chefs making our three meals. We probably won't be back and if we do it will be a long time from now.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2014
    Dined on 3/29/2014
We had our first "big city restaurant" experience locally since recently moving to Limerick. Food was great and the service (Barbara) was fantastic. Our great "vice" over the years has been to go out to dinner all over the country. The Copperfield Inn was very reminiscent of many great restaurants we visited over the years - nostalgic but up-to-date with the dark paneling, privacy of a well-padded booth, and service to compare with any other place we've been to - in fact, based on our first experience, we have made reservations for their Easter buffet to give that a try.

The decor and food were very, very good, and the price was quite reasonable. Did not feel rushed at all, and my companions and I had a very nice time. Service was very good as well, although the server was a ittle less outgoing than to which I am customed (I don't believe she told us her name). Ok, so we were busy being parents on Valentines Day and decided to celebrate a week later with dinner and a movie. Having lived in the area for almost 40+ years, I remember the old Lakeside from years ago but can't remember the last time I visited the historic Inn. Learning that it had changed hands, and was renamed Copperfield Inn at Lakeside I was interested to give it a try. We finally made reservations (Open Table) and I was impressed from the minute we walked into the door. We were seated (immediately) by a fireplace and enjoyed a romantic evening of great drinks, excellent food and attentive service and on a Saturday night no less. I strongly recommend the new Copperfield Inn at Lakeside!

If you're looking for a place to enjoy a quality meal and avoid the chain restaurants, Copperfield's is a great option.
