"The brunch food was typical midwestern bland. Much of the food was overly dry and barely warm. Service was excellent...attentive but not obtrusive. I'd be willing to try the restaurant again for a meal other than brunch to see if the food problems were unique to the brunch setting."

"Easter brunch - food was of poor quality. Everything was cold, dry, alway replenished very slowly. One exception was the roast beef carving station. Most attention was given to that one dish. I would have had a better bunch eating at Denny's. Never go back."

"My husband really enjoyed what we ate. My only regret is that you did have many hot food options for vegetarians/vegan. Although you are a steak house it would be great to accomodate other diets so that we will be anxious to return."

"Service was excellent and ambiance was nice. However, the food was less than average and really, really not worth the prices. My wife said her Swordfish was good but my shrimp and scallops were chewy and overcooked and the breading was heavy. Our mashed potatoes were pasty and flavorless. Food presentation was nothing special. For the prices I expected something much better. I had great hopes but won't return."

"Server was good as was the food but with only 6 tablles occupied inside it took a long time to get any service. Manager apologized later saying that he noticed our discomfort. But then why didn't he offer to do something like get our drinks while we waited on our server? Maybe serving customers is now outside of his job description?
Best restaurants around the country are always "all hands"."

"First time eating at this yet another new restaurant at this location. Service was attentive but serving was a bit uneven. Fellow diner had a broiled lobster tail which was prepared without seasoning (not by request) and she had to ask for and then wait for some drawn butter, The garlic mash that she and her husband were to share came out of the kitchen even later. On the other hand, my ahi tuna cooked rare was a excellent and generous. The lobster mac and cheese was also generous though a bit under-seasoned. My wife had the salmon BLT which was unique and very good."

"Finally, a real gem for dining in the suburbs south of the river! The former Oceanaire Restaurant chef has done a marvelous job with the menu and the presentation. The restaurant has been redone to be very stylish, comfortable and the bar area is very sophisticated but still has a couple of TV's for the sports lovers in the crowd. The seafood was incredible, and selections were plentiful. The wait staff seemed well-informed on the menu and willing to help with selections. The outside patio was very nice and they had a fire going, although not too many patrons there since the evening was a bit cool. I hope that people will learn of this great restaurant and frequent it as we need more like this in the suburbs."
