Diner Reviews
  • "I had been to the Silver Spring location of Copper Canyon Grill many times, but this location is closer to my house with plentiful, free parking. This location did not disappoint. The service was excellent (Louis) and the food was very tasty and very plentiful. They are known for their signature dish the Rotissarie chicken and two of my friends got it and they loved it. It was about a half a chicken. Their bread pudding is also to die for! Great place in the new Woodmore Towne Center. We just need more quality restaurants like this in the area. Suggestion: make reservations for dinner."

  • "This was my second time visiting Copper Canyon, on this occassion, to celebrate a friend's birthday, if my guests were happy, then I was too. On this occasion my party sat closer to the band which was my request, making our dinning experience that much better,it's a great touch, thank you!!"

  • "I was pleasingly surprise by groups and the food choices. Quoting a friend"It's about time P.G. have an up scale watering hole and a meat market!", and I agree."

  • "Staff is young, vibrant, and very welcoming. Food is very "bountiful". Most diners require the "doggie" bag!!"

  • "The food was good, there was only a 2 minute or so wait for the table. Complaint is that they dont give out any complimentary table food, like bread while your waiting for your meal. If you dont order an appetizer your pretty much just sitting there with your drink waiting. Once the food arrizes portions are good everything is well cooked. I had the crab cakes they were delicious real lump crab meat stuffed in there and i would definitly recommend the bacon mac & cheese. My girl had the salmon and mashed red potatoes with broccolii also well cooked and good. I will be dining at this restaurant again and recommending to my friends."

  • "They have a concept specific to Copper Canyon called "team service", where you can ask anyone for anything. So did not happen when we were there. After finishing dinner, we had to wait 45 minutes to receive our checks. Ya can't blame that on the kitchen! The concept doesn't work. Give it up and make the servers responsible for their tables, please."

  • "I went for dinner on my 31st birthday with a couple of friends. I went to the Silver Spring location two months earlier for a friend's birthday and decided to try the Glenarden location for my dinner. The service was great, the food was better than I remembered! We had a great time. I can't wait to go back!"

  • "FINALLY a great restaurant in the area! The food was simply delicious! I had crab cakes & was able to substitute the fries & cole slaw for sides of my choice. I am very picky about my crab cakes & these were absolutely delicious! My friend had the chicken/pasta dish & that was equally delicious. We both had a lemon drop cocktail & It was a pleasure to find that our drinks were made from scratch rather than a mix! The live jazz is an added plus. I highly recommend that you make reservations otherwise the wait will be up to 1 hour. I will definitely return ... again & again!"

  • "The food and service at Copper Canyon is great. It is an attractive restaurant with quality food and moderate prices. I'm a bit of a foodie so I can do gourmet, but it is not gourmet, just normal recognizable food. This isnt a draw back. Sometimes you just want something good and tasty, but not overly greasing, fattening etc. and you need a place to take your parents and grandparents where they can understand the menu! They have steaks, chops, fish, pasta, along with meatloaf, pot pies, soups, sandwiches and decent wine. What's not to like? This is great addition to Northern Prince George's County. We've put it on our dining out list."

  • "A co-worker highly reccommended this restaurant to eat at for our 12th anniversary. We loved the entire experience of dining at Copper Canyon. Making online reservations was easy and convenient. Atmosphere was warm and cozy. Staff was friendly, responsive and efficient. We loved the teamwork concept. We started off with the cornbread for our appetizer then we both selected the Rotisserie Chicken from the menu and it was delicious. The vegetables were fresh and delectable as well. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. We thought Copper Canyon was a diamond in the rough among area restaurants in PG County. We definintely will return to try other dishes on the menu and to experience the live jazz trio after 6pm. We can't wait! ;-D"

  • "I celebrated my birthday here on Friday, April 4th, great restaruant and the food was tasty. My girlfreinds and I enjoyed the entire expereince at Cooper Canyon Grill, Just we has to sit in the area where the must was playing and it was just a bite loud for me. Maybe on our next visist we can sit in the main dinning room."

  • "I normally don't do reviews but I had to share the best dining experience I've had in a WHILE! The food was amazing and they give you plenty! My server was a young lady name Brittney and she was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and great with offering suggestions. The ambience is great and they also have a live jazz band playing which is an extra great touch. Wonderful place for a first date."

  • "My first visit to Copper Canyon was on Friday, March 28th. The experience, food, and drinks were so great that I returned two later on Sunday, March 30th with my parents. They enjoyed the food as did I again. I had the Rosted Chicken with Mashed potatoes. It was the best roasted chicken I've had from anywhere! I think the food is some of the best food I've had in sometime. I highly would recommend anyone to go and visit it for themselves."

  • "the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. there is no way to you can eath the entire meal unless you arrive on an empty stomach! i will be back again! I had the Chicken Pot Pie and it was incredible. I found the place to be warm and full of energy. age range from mid 20- 70. nice place to bring the entire family however, make a reservation before going as there is typically a wait."

  • "Love, love, love Copper Canyon! If you dine there you must try the crab cakes, rattlesnake pasta, rotisserie chicken and the meatloaf is to die for! All of them AWESOME! It's worth the money. Oh and the Peartini drink is great too!"

  • "Hey - there aren't that many nice restaurants in PG. I mean, this place feels upscale, I can see that the waiters are still young and may need some traiing :-) small snafu at the table but I really like this place. I'm fasting so all I haven't tried the meat but I was pleased with my salad, corn bread and chips. My dinner companion enjoyed the bar as well - thanks!"

  • "Excellent restaurant with excellent food and excellent service (did I say it was excellent ?) ... This is a very nice restaurant with an abundance of food. The portions are almost TOO big but the food is fresh and every thing I have tried (this was my 3rd time in one month) was delicious. The prices are reasonable especially given the portion size. I wish they would bring the bread to the table with your drinks (automatically) because for some reason they did not when I dined. I am glad to see such a nice restaurant in Prince George's County and I hope they keep up the restaurant and service!"

  • "Our server and his helper were outstanding. Very tentative, knows the menu like the back of his hand. It was born day dinner for me from my aunt and cousin. They both work in the customer service industry and where very impressed and will be back."

  • "I did enjoy Copper Canyon Grill's brunch. I had heard how good dinner was and after reading the brunch menu, I was ready to blown away! It was good but I was definitely expecting more. My food lacked seasoning. The wait was long! and I not impressed with the limited selection of "add-on" items. My turkey bacon came to the table looking like turkey bacon crackers. I hope it gets better! The gigantically enormous blueberry pancakes were delicious! but came out with the smallest serving of syrup. The crab scramble was good, just needed salt, pepper, garlic, bell peppers, etc. I hope with time, they get better!"

  • "The experience was okay but not at the par and standard for Copper Canyon- Glenarden (or their other locations) with regard to the food delivery. On 2 occasions I had to flag down the food runner(s) and let them know that the food was for my table (as they had already incorrectly delivered an appetizer to another table [who shamelessly consumed it not having the wherewith all to state "no, wrong table"]. The server often forgot our request (for remoulade sauce, paper napkins, a bag) but it was busy and I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that they were fairly new as this was VERY uncommon for this location."

  • "Thank you Copper Canyon Grill for brining and MAINTAINING a quality dining establishment to Prince George's County, MD! I've dined there 4 times in about 2 months and have enjoyed the complete dining experience each time! From the hostesses/greeters, to the waitstaff, to the food/drink quality, to the management, each visit has been outstanding! Keep up the GREAT work!"

  • "2nd time being at this restaurant and overall had a good time. We had a reservation and that was pretty much pointless as we still had to wait about 45minutes. Other than that food was good again."

  • "The restuarant is very nice but to small for the crowd they receive on a daily basis. Parking is very limited as well sharing with other establishments. I welcome kids everywhere, but some parents should not dine when they know they have unruly uncontrollable children - it distracts from your meal and company of others"

  • "This was an ideal location for my meeting. Although the restaurant was busy, it was conducive to the myself and the two people I was meeting with. Will be back soon!"

  • "This location of Copper Canyon has lots of positives - nice bar, very good cocktails, a variety of appetizers and entrees and some luscious desserts. I had the beef tenderloin and my friend had the salmon entree...both properly prepared and delicious. The entrees included two sides, smashed potatoes and sauteed spinach with lots of onions with the beef and a rice pilaf and sautéed spinach and onions with the salmon. The location is too small for the crowd that the restaurant has attracted so do make reservations in advance. My only criticism is that the noise level in the restaurant is too loud! Copper Canyon is a great non-fast food addition to the area."

  • "I had been there before, but never made a reservation. I'm so glad this option exists, as there on seemed to be a hefty wait (on a Friday at 8pm) for those walking in. The Host set us right down and the server came right away. He never seemed rush and was completely helpful picking out entrees. He also told us about the add-on options, which was the first time I was ever told about in all of my times going to Cooper Cannon. There was an issue with one of our plates, but they fixed it right away. We couldn't have asked for better, more attentive, service. And of course, the food was delicious and plentiful!"

  • "I love the Copper Canyon Brand. I am really thankful this has come into Prince George's County. I'm hoping, hoping, hoping it doesn't go downhill. I made a reservation about 4 weeks prior to the planned outing, and was shocked to show up to a crowded foyer to be told by the hostess the wait would be 30-40 minutes... I mean, really?! Again, I'm happy the business is booming, but these are technical things that need to be worked out for me to patron a place like this with a group of friends."
