Copley's on Palm CanyonOld favorite with romanceGreat setting in the former Cary Grant estate, service and food choices were very good. Prix fixe pork chop was huge and halibut was very juicy and tasty. Thoroughly recommend this for high quality dining spot for special occasions.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMReally a great restaurant!Really a great restaurant! This was our first time and we loved it.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our third visit toThis was our third visit to Copley's and it was outstanding as usual. The food was well prepared and presented and the ambience can't be beat. We sat outside and even in the heat is was a comfortable experience. We came with friends and they all enjoyed the meal. The one issue was with the menu. It was restaurant week and they decided to only serve the items on the special menu. We were disappointed that they would not allow ordering off the regular menu.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfection (and surprises)Perfection (and surprises) in every course! We had the mushroom ravioli, a chilled soup and ceasar salad for first course...The bite of "crouton" in the ceasar salad was actually warm pineapple! All entrees (seabass and filet) delivered hot, beautiful, and flavorful. Everything Delicious! Chef Andrew is the best!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best !I have been to this restaurant several times and never disappointed. The food is great, service is awesome and the location is perfect. This is my special occasion restaurant!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food in a beautiful setting.Their cold potato/leek soup was the best I have ever had! Everyone at our table enjoyed their entrees.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMhidden gemfirst time going or even hearing about this place and it was an awesome find. Classic aviation maritini is awesome food was great and the wine list fir their style. A lot of off the beaten path some brand names but a decent selection. I would go their again.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Restaurant Week MenuOur dinner was wonderful. All four of us ordered something different (Seared Ahi, Filet, Halibut, Salmon) and each dish was amazing. Our Beet and Goat Cheese salads and the Caesar salads were a bit disappointing, but the entrees and desserts more than made up for it. A great Restaurant Week menu!6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful goodDelicious, thoughtful, beautifully presented food prepared by a knowing hand. 'Nuf said.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat restaurantFantastic food and wonderful ambience. Service was great.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMFood of the GodsCopleys never fails to amaze and delight us, The dinner last Monday was incredible and the setting outdoors memorable too. We started with the beet salad, as beautifully plated as it was tasty. Main course was for my wife the Halibut and for me the Filet, both exceptional and beautifully prepared and displayed. Desert was wonderful too. A five star rating for food ambiance service and location.
One minor nitpick: I ordered an Arnold Palmer and found that it cost five dollars! (when the bill came), which I would consider a tad, no a lot overpriced for ice, iced tea and lemonade. But then I realized that I could have asked the price, but I did not. Love and Learn.
Overall Copleys contines to shine for dining perfection,6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstandingWe came during restaurant week and our party of ten foodies were blown away with the food and service. The duck, and fish were over the top and then some. All ten of us said we would be back and we all came from Ramcho mirage.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMComfortable at Copley'sAre waiter was excellent and the food was amazing. We had the filet, duck breast and halibut. The desserts were delicious.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMSUPERB CHEFWe went for restaurant week and even though we looked at the menu ahead of time, they added another special. OMG it made the decision even tougher. The beet salad was not only tasty, but beautifully presented. We were both thrilled with our entree, then were stumped again on desert. They make all their ice cream and the basil ice cream with lavender pound cake so worth some extra calories.
We already made reservations to go again during restaurant week and will go again on regular menu. We love the great restaurants in Palm Springs and this is DEFINITELY one not to miss.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding restaurant. So glad to have such quality in the desert. Nothing compares to them or beats them!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMPalm Springs Restaurant WeekThis is our 3rd year kicking off this fun week in PS. It's become a tradition to start it at Copelys on the openoing Friday, this sets the bar for every other restaraunt in the valley. Our group has grown from 2 to 4 to 7 this year with nothing but praises and salutes from those who joined us, several of whom hadn't been before.
The food without exception was excellent, the most difficulty is deciding which dish to try, mine always seems to be the filet....others in the party opted for fish, we all agreed the food was terrific! Service was good and attentive without smothering, out door ambiance wonderful.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful EveningCopley's has a beautiful patio environment. Even though the tables are fairly close, the environment is quiet and quite classy. The staff is friendly and so attentive. We each enjoyed our entrees, the lobster pie, the lamb, the ahi special....and we highly recommend the chocolate ravioli for dessert!! We were entertaining guests from out of town and they say it was the highlight of their trip.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant is spectacular. This restaurant is spectacular. Wonderful to sit outside in thieir beautiful courtyard area. Recommend it highly.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and great service.Great food and great service. Nothing more to say.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMDinnerEvery trip to Palm Springs includes a night at Cepley's for dinner. Food is the best in Palm Springs. The outdoor seating area is a must if the weather cooperates.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Customer ServiceWe went over Memorial Day Weekend and experienced the best customer service I've had in a long time. Everyone from the hostess/host to Laura, our server, was so accommodating and helpful. Wished we lived in the area to go back time and time again.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMService started off a littleService started off a little slow. Waiter was a bit uptight like he didn't want to be there. 15 minutes into it he loosened up and was great the rest of the night. Food was very good. ambiance perfect. We brought a bottle of wine and the corkage fee was waived because we purchased it at a liquor store in Palm Springs called "Fame". A tip for those who want to BYOB. The Mgr./Owner talked with us after dinner for about 5 minutes. Told us some great places in San Diego to dine. Nice touch.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful Patio Dining ExperienceWent to Copley's, on the advice of another restaurant owner, and was not disappointed in the least. Food was super delicious and under the stars in the warm Palm Springs night made it all very memorable.
My girlfriend is a vegetarian so the chef cooked up a little something extra special to satisfy her dietary needs and she loved it!
If you are in PS, do yourself a favor and make Copley's one of your dining destinations.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful, loved it all andWonderful, loved it all and will go again and again5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMClassic Desert GemAs residents of PS, we like trying new restaurants, but when it comes to special occasions
we always return to Copley's for the combination of delightful food, a beautiful
patio and well trained staff. On this particular night, the restaurant was packed as we sat down to an 8:45 dinner. One guest had to return her lamb which had been over-cooked. The owner personally removed and returned the new plate which was appreciated. All in all, a fabulous destination that defines "Palm Springs Living"5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMExquisite.VERY lovely outdoor dining. The mountain and Palm trees in the backdrop; very attentive staff, but not overbearing.
The Lemon-Lavender pound cake and lavender ice cream was DIVINE.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMA Night To RememberWe celebrated our 32nd Wedding Anniversary at this wonderful restaurant, and it was very special and romantic. We will definitely be back!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a Birthday Present!Truly one of the best meals I've ever had at a restaurant!5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMBest dinner in Palm SpringsWe live in Palm Springs year-round and Copley's is our go to choice for our anniversary. The small menu has a lot of variety. We loved the outside seating and the service was excellent: attentive without being rushed.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMDecadent, Yet HealthyWe often choose Copley's for special occasions because Chef Andrew has created a menu that is interesting yet offers healthy choices. Three of us follow a protein diet and appreciated the plates weren't loaded with unwanted carbs -- a lovely, delicately seasoned spaghetti squash was piled beneath my tender Barramundi and sauteed spinach atop it -- delicious!
One ordered the tantalizing Lobster PotPie, thinking he would eat just the filling as the heavy crust would not agree with his tummy. He was delighted with the bit of puff pastry crowning a rich lobster broth, succulent chunks of lobster and veggies. The generous portions of salmon, duck and steak in dishes- beautifully presented and equally delicious! Setting and server excellent!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dinnerFood and service were outstanding. We dined outside and it was a lovely night.
Alex was our waiter and he was very helpful. Anything he recommended was a winner.
Ahi tuna special was so fresh and delicious, just recieved from Hawaii.
Barramundi was very tasty too
Lavender pound cake with basil ice cream was an odd combination I thought, until I tried it.
It was really good
Can't wait to go back.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AM25th Wedding Aniversary CelebrationCopley's was the best dining experience we have ever had! The option to add flowers and make it even more special for my wife was a big hit; the flowers were beautiful. The hostess was always smiling and cheerful. The bartender was attentive and served us while we waited for our table to be prepared. Our waiter was outstanding; his knowledge of people, food and the area made the dinner even more delightful. My wife had the special of seared Ahi and petite lobster tail over wasabi mashed potatoes. I had the NY steak with truffle fries. Both dishes were incredible. Dessert was crispy chocolate raviolis which were exquisite! Hands down the best meal in our 25 years of marriage (sorry dear). Dinner at Copley's is a MUST do!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMCharmingNice place and good service, but food could have been better. Perhaps it was what we ordered - salmon and tofu instead of the ahi special, but the food was better before. The bread was great as was the service:).5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMExperience classic old PalmExperience classic old Palm Springs. Ask for Duncan as your server - you won't be disappointed!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMA great birthday celebrationA fabulous experience in the desert. Being from NYC it's always hard to find a restaurant that measures up to the best of Manhattan. Copley's can compete on any level. The service, ambiance and food was outstanding. A perfect place to celebrate a birthday with friends!!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary dinnerWith a 9pm reservation, we arrived about 45 minutes prior and had a couple of glasses of wine at the bar. Very nice, quiet and romantic. Food was great, service very good and atmosphere was exceptional. Would definitely recommend for romantic dinner. Thanks.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMLove Copley'sThis was our second visit to Copley's. It is the former estate of Cary Grant. It doesn't look like much from the street, but as you enter the patio it takes you to a different world. There were 4 of us dining and each of us had a different entree ranging from seafood to steak and different salads. Each was outstanding with superb presentations and flavor.
As for the desserts: our guests shared the Warm Apple Crumbler. They said it was good but nothing special or outstanding. However, my husband and I shared the Lemon and Lavender Scented Pound Cake with Basil Ice Cream and Lavender Sauce. Wow!! Next time I'm not going to share that!
We definitely will go back next time we visit Palm Springs.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Place in Palm SpringsWe loved Copley's. The food, service, and atmosphere are so unique. You wont be disappointed. Greg never disappoints in any way! The food is superb and the service is fabulous! The outdoor eating area is exquisite!! I so look forward to our April trip to Copley's and think of it fondly as I wait for our next visit. The time will come that we have a more permanent home in the desert and at that time we will be regulars at Copley's. Of that I have no doubt. Until then, I will have to be satisfied with our once a year visit. Anyone who gets to Palm Springs should make this a priority of their visit. Until next time...4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrating my daughter'sCelebrating my daughter's birthday, and what a day to be there..So. while we waited for our tabel..the city had a "Wow" firework display that we enjoyed...and then the treat started, wonderful seating arrangments, the service great.and OMG..food outstanding ..6 of us and all were raving about their food selection........ME? if you go,try the scallops & Pork Belly..sooo tasty...and if you can ask, for Victor D for your waiter, do so great service..We are planning another visit to Copley's soon great place!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMExquisite Dinning In Palm SpringsCopley's is delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and impeccable service. The menu is well-priced given the excellent quality of both the food and presentation. The service is even better with an approach that is casual yet efficient and very professional. The wine list is interesting and not overly extravagant; the martinis are generous and especially well prepared. What's not to like?4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMCopley's is a nice treat!Copley's is a very nice restaurant with a great outside dining area around a fountain. We eat there several times a year, mostly on special occasions. The menu always has lots of choices with some unusual dishes and specials that you don't see at similar nice places. And, most importantly, the food is excellent. The host, too, is very nice and if asked will relate information about the history of the setting including the time when the restaurant consisted of four suites that made up Carey Grant's guest house.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely setting and excellentLovely setting and excellent service....would highly recommend....best meal in Palm Springs!
