Diner Reviews
  • "Copley's represents the best of what Palm Springs has to offer in great dining. It us my favorite place to take guests or just have a romantic dinner. Check out their website...lots of innovative dining ideas."

  • "Have eaten here every chance we get. The Copley martini goes down like a dream (this from someone who doesn't drink very much.) The menu is varied and delectable. The specials are equally delicious, reliable and well-presented. The garden is enchanting. Whether it's fresh fish, duck, lamb or filet, it's all good. The salads are inventive. The desserts are well worth the calories, including the salted caramel ice cream. Service is friendly and professional. "

  • "This was a last minute find and wonderful it was. The ambiance outdoors was perfect and the firepit added a special touch. Service was good and the food delicious and reasonably priced"

  • "Returning to Palm Springs after a 10-years away, we returned to Copley's which was our favorite. Even though they were very busy, we were seated at our table immediately. Copley's offers inside dining in a lovely restored home with french doors opening onto the very inviting outside dining space. The outside space is very spacious with lawns, trees and seating spaces to enjoy cocktails and dinner. Our server, Paul M. was excellent—professional and friendly and catered to our every need. I had a filet mignon that was grilled to perfection. My husband had Veal Medallions that, in his words, were "out of this world." This is a restaurant that seems to have it all. After 7 days in Palm Springs, Copley's stands out as the best."

  • "Food is great. Amazing outdoor space and and fire pit is a great touch, to hot for the summer but it was really nice to see fire at night while dining. "

  • "We tend to save Copleys for special occasions as it is higher priced than most local restaurants. When it is not windy or cold, the outside dining area is a special place to be. Food is great and the presentation is magnificent. Service was very very good. Our only complaint, and it's minor, but, at the time we made the reservation (through Open Table) we told the restaurant it was our anniversary. There was no acknowledgement made. We're not looking for a free desert or anything like that, but it would have been nice for the server or maitre' d to have simply wished us happy anniversary! Other than that, great experience as always."

  • "From the Old Palm Springs setting , mountain included, to the superb food, wine, and service, this is a wonderful choice for a special dinner. We loved eating outdoors and feeling as if we were in a secluded backyard, which we were. I'm not a foodie, but know when food is meticulously prepared and appreciate it. The menu isn't extensive, but there was plenty of variety. I had the warm goat cheese salad with beets, which was unusual and delicious. Husband had Caesar and raved about it. Entrees of veal and salmon pleased us as well. We shared a fantastic dessert, Warm Apple Walnut Cranberry Croustade which hit the spot!! Our server was friendly, prompt, helpful, and appropriately attentive! Copleys is a vacation from vacation!"

  • "First time entertaining clients in Palm Springs. What a fabulous find. Service was excellent. We were seated outside. We changed the reservation about a million times (each time making the party larger) and they were highly accommodating. We sat on the patio, which has a great atmosphere, with string lights and a fun courtyard privacy that is highly enjoyable. Food and wine were also very nice. Would definitely go back. Great place for a larger party (we had 12) or a romantic dinner. Also ate at Fl3ming'$ on this trip and liked Copley's better for about 2/3 the price."

  • "Dinner was amazing! There were 3 in my party and we ordered the - BBQ GLAZED PORK T-BONE, SLOW BRAISED VEAL CHEEKS & MAINE LOBSTER, PAN ROASTED AUSTRALIAN BARRAMUND. We started with the potato, leek and cauliflower soup (a special that night) and we finished the night with the ice cream trio. All in all everything we ordered was divine. We sat outside and it was a very relaxed environment. Service was great - water glasses never got empty and both the manager and hostess checked on us throughout the meal. I would highly recommend and I will return to this Palm Springs gem!"

  • "We (6 of us) ate here before going to the PS Follies and were in a bit of a rush. It was great with excellent service and food. The setting outdoors is great on a warm evening. We will be back!"

  • "Great food, service and incredible ambiance. Lamb and veal were cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly, but never intrusive. He read our table well. Mountains in the back ground and a huge beautiful patio! Got to speak briefly with the chef and manager (?) they were extremely charming as well. Worth every penny!"

  • "This restaurant is absolutely top notch. Our waiter Charlie was quite possibly the best waiter we have ever had. Apparently he has been working there the 10 years the restaurant has been open, and you can tell. He cares, he listens, and he made thoughtful wine and entree selections. I would go back just to get his service. The food was superb. Two of us ordered specials, the third a standard menu item. We still can't decide which was the best of the three. Deserts and appetizers were outstanding as well. The owner Greg also took time to chat wit us after our meal. He was very friendly, remembered our names, and welcomed us back anytime. Service is a dying art, but Copley's has it perfected. We can't wait to go back."

  • "We were hoping our friends would enjoy our favorite restaurant in Palm Springs, and yes, then did. Food and service were wonderful. Relaxing outdoor dining. We were able to enjoy great conversation, many laughs and relaxation. Perfect."

  • "We expected an old school menu and atmosphere for this ps original but bad service, we did not see that coming. They did not have our reservation although we had email confirmation, we waited 15 mins with no server at the table and when we finally asked for a server she was so harried she did not finish any of her sentences leaving to image what " errr do you..... ?" Meant! Very odd especially for a place with a decent reputation."

  • "We frequent this establishment almost every time we visit Palm Springs. I am afraid this was not our best experience there. We usually have a fantastic time there, but it was clear that they had too many customers with too few waitstaff to do their cuisine justice."

  • "We were all so excited because Andrew Had our Fave...Veal...on the evening specials. The food is always the Best and our Special Server, PAUL, makes us feel at Home every time! My Birthday was perfect and I forgot all about getting a year older! Thank you Greg!"

  • "We went here for our 22nd anniversary and were completely thrilled. I had dressed up for the occasion and there were people at all levels from resort casual to my dress. We were promptly greeted and seated outdoors per our preference. The wait staff were attentive but not intrusive. The tables had sufficient space between that noise was not an issue and it felt very private. Our food was superb! There was not one negative in our whole evening. Love it and have already recommended to many of my friends. This is a definite "again" experience."

  • "Copleys has a lovely outdoor atmosphere for dinner, with heat lamps strategically placed between tables. Lovely ambiance overall! The server was knowledgable and attentive. The food was cooked to perfection with great flavor. The appetizers were small enough to enjoy without spoiling the main. We all had room for the dessert. Tip: Pair the sticky pudding with the cinnamon ice cream. You won't regret it."

  • "Wonderful dinner. The appetizers were the perfect size and cooked to perfection. I ordered the veal medallions which were so tender they melted in your mouth. The lemon-lavender poundcake dessert is perfect for two. The best meal we have had since moving to Palm Springs. Our waiter was quite friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely dine here again."

  • "Sitting outside you look up at the mountains and sky. I love to cook, so I was delightfully surprised with the innovative, creative, and delicious food. The Hawaiian Ahi tuna tacos were scrumptious with sesame cracker like tiny taco shells filled with tuna tartare, avocado, just the right amount of spices, micro-greens, and two kinds of caviar surrounding the tacos. The tomato bisque soup burst with flavors. The veal medallions on a bed of baby spinach and carrots were topped with salmon ravioli and chunks of lobster and smoked salmon. The waitress recommended a chardonnay and a cab that went perfectly with the food. The service was attentive without any hovering. I will definitely come here again when I am in Palm Springs!"

  • "Our group of four went to Copley's for a special occasion. We were not disappointed. The menu was ambitious, the food was delicious, the service was capable and smooth. It's a lovely setting. While it is expensive would recommend it if you if you are looking for a unique dining experience in Palm Springs."

  • "We had a group of 6 and requested outdoor dining, which was available. It is a lovely setting and the food is great for foodies. Try the Aviation cocktail and the blue cheese stuffed dates salad. Service and food are wonderful. Copley's is good for a special occasion."

  • "We came with a group of 6 and I have to say, the ambience outside, the service and the food were all flawless. Wow. I had the veal cheeks and Maine lobster, my partner had the Steak. The veal is braised for 24 hours prior to serving and it was melt in your mouth. The Salmon another diner enjoyed was wild and not farm raised ... Which is always a huge plus. For dessert we had the Chocolate soufflé with Salted Carmel Ice Cream....mmmmm mmmmm good. The chocolate oozed out and provided an explosion in our mouths... We came pretty close to having a food orgasm here... Salvador did an outstanding job waiting onus and the owner/manager (?) checked up on our satisfaction regularly - we will make sure to come back again! .."

  • "I have been several times to this restaurant and it is always a treat. The service is attentive and the food is delicious. I even tried a Vegetarian option not on the menu that was tasty. The outside portion is very cute too with a fire pit."

  • "Since this was our first time and took my partner for his birthday with friends, I was so disappointed when I asked the waiter, Jason if I can order Calamari in our table. They said "No". Since we are away for 5 feet from the bar and it cost $15.00, why is this not possible? This was a great LOST with this restaurant. Besides, when I ordered an Appetizer for a $1.00 more (Copley's Seafood Sampler), this food is not worth $16.00. I told my partner I don't think this worth a Birthday place for him. I don't think I'll be back in is restaurant."

  • "Asked our server not to fire our main course until we gave her the high sign. 90 seconds after our salads were picked up the main course was served. The Ahi tuned which was supposed to be seared was cold as though it had just come out of the freezer. I have a personal policy of not having the restaurant reheat my food or bring another dish....particularly after the server did not respect my wishes....The place was packed to their credit..."

  • "Copley's restaurant is one of those gems you can never part with. From the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant to the delicious food and impeccable presentation. Dining there is truly an experience you don't want to miss. Add to that, they have a great wine list and their pomegranate martinis are the best in the Coachella Valley!"

  • "I had heard good things so decided to give Copley's a try for a special event. It did not disappoint. We showed up on time and we were seated within 5 minutes of announcing ourselves. We took a couple of minutes to check out the courtyard (this was Cary Grant's Palm Springs estate at one time) and found it beautiful and inviting, not ostentatious. We were seated and never rushed. Nice wine list, not cheap, but good selections. I had the Tandoori Salmon ( I figured something that sounded that odd at the top of the menu had to be good) and my partner had the pork. Both were excellent. The salmon was probably one of the best pieces of salmon that I have ever had. I would recommend this restaurant as well as go back. Great place."

  • "Copely's Restaurant setting is outstanding. The outdoor firepit and the fountain in the middle, not to mention the view of the mountains really makes for a beautiful space. The inside bar and dining area are equally as inviting. The service was superb, with our server allowing plenty of time for cocktails and between courses. No rush here. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the salmon entree and veal cheeks with Maine lobster. Definitely recommend both. Will look forward to dining here again."

  • "The menu is rather limited so when the Ahi was suggested, I had to have it. It was out of this world! I noted that several in our group ordered steak and all three of them left some behind, which tells me that this is not the best place to order steak. The lemon pound cake desert with basil ice cream was amazing!"
