Copia Restaurant and Wine Garden
Wonderful experienceWe had a wonderful experience at Copia. We dined in the dining room which is beautifully decorated with a waterfall wall and unique chandeliers. Our waiter Mike (Turbo) was fabulous. He gave us a tour of the restaurant and wine garden and we were impressed. We had a cocktail in the Wine Garden and enjoyed the ambience. It had a water feature with fire bowls and had a few outdoor fireplaces and plenty of lounge type seating as well as seating for dining. We will return!6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMfabulousGreat food, great atmosphere, great place. The restaurant was very accommodating to all of our requests. Wine selection was superb.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMServerOur server was amazing. I can not think of another time when I had a server more attentive, caring and passionate about what he does.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food but a bit priceyI have been toCopia many times but it is usually for lunch. I have never had anything I didn't like here. The food has always been top knotch and like their menu. We went there for dinner recently and the food was excellent. I had the voodoo shrimp and jambalaya and I have to say it was some of the best jambalaya I have had. My wife had the scallops which she was raving about and they were very good, cooked just right with a great presentation. My only complaint is the prices. For dinner, I really think they are over priced. A couple of drinks and two entrees for dinner and you are topping $100 and there servings are fairly small. We like the wine garden. Very open. Service was fine.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWine and DineCopia has an extensive wine list and the pricing for the wine is great! Much less expensive than other St. Louis restaurants.
And in addition, the food is fantastic...along with the service!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOn the rocks?Don't quite understand the $2 charge for "on the rocks.' Highly recommend the scallops.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's the kind of place forIt's the kind of place for a special occasion. Great food. Great service.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat AmbienceIt may have been perfect if someone hadn't pulled the fire alarm at the establishment next door. Unfortunately it affected Copia as well. Started with the Copia Salad which was in a very light but tasty balsamic vinaigrette. We then had their special cheese plate which had an excellent manchego as well as a very nice asiago. All complimented with fresh berries, praline walnuts and dried cherries and cranberries. For the main course, I had their signature scallops over risotto. The risotto was very good, but presented as a cake and therefore a bit dryer than most. Scallops were very flavorful and tender. The dessert tray was very appealing. Two of my colleagues had the creme brulee and the other had ice cream. I had the Balvenie Carribean.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWas too expensive. 1 inexpensiveWas too expensive. 1 inexpensive bottle of wine, 2 dinners and deserts... $2503/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThIs Is One Of The Best PlacesThIs Is One Of The Best Places To Dine In The St. LOuis Area.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI had the steak diane whichI had the steak diane which was two 4 oz filet medallion with a demi glaze, yukon mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable and my husband had the prime rib. They were both very, very good and the portion was huge.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThese guys have it down. These guys have it down. We ate in the wine garden this time. Jenna did an outstanding job taking care of us. The crazy part is we were just about down with dinner before we realized she was taking care of the bar, too. She didn't miss a beat. The food was perfectly prepared and served with great timing. Nice wine list with a surprisingly low price for everything. We got a bottle that was pretty decent for just $35. I saw the same bottle for sale, today, at Schnuck's for $29.50. That's a pretty low markup for a nice wine. Keep up the great work, we'll be back!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAlthough, I made a rez onlineAlthough, I made a rez online I stated my wife and I were celebrating out 2 year anniversary & a new baby on the way, they failed to recognize. But overall service was great!3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThey definitely don't specializeThey definitely don't specialize in mixed drinks. So if you want a drink, drink wine. But the food was delish! Everyone loved their food (3 people) and we all ordered something different.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA downtown dellightOne of our favorite Saint Louis restaurants. We go there often.2/11/2013 12:00:00 AMCopia has an outstanding wineCopia has an outstanding wine program, with a lot of very good wines by the glass, or by the bottle at a small premium over their wine shop retail prices. The food is good, although most of the dishes are unduly complex, and not always successful. Service is very friendly and welcoming.12/22/2012 12:00:00 AM
