The only thing that I would 'complain' about is that the restaurant itself needs a facelift (some seats showed quite a bit of wear)."

  • "There are lots of meat selections but I found that certain kind of meats keep coming to your table while certain meats do not come to the table unless you "special request" them. There are no shortage of meat as the servers are great at coming to your table frequently offering meats, however there should be a system where the server can visually see the table no longer wants to be served so they do not need to keep asking and customers don't have to constantly refuse them. I also believe desert should be included in the buffet and not have to pay extra for it."

  • "Nice selection of different meats. I prefer chicken over anything so would have liked more chicken selections. The entertainment was very nice. The salad bar was nice but would have liked more selection. For the price, I would have expected some kind of dessert selections. The servers did come around with fried bananas which were very good but it would have been nicer to have some other dessert selections--this and a bit better salad bar would improve the value of the meal which was 38.00 per person on a Thursday--all you can eat. Service was excellent...you never had to really wait for a server to bring some more meat."

  • "I've eaten at a few Copacabana locations as well as Touro Churrascaria in Richmond Hill. The service and the meat at this particular location were the best, but the buffet was disappointingly lacking in selection and quality. Other locations of the Copacabana and Touro had a variety of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, antipasto, and seafood selections as well as make-your-own salad bars, but the selection at this location was limited to a few starch dishes and about 14 pre-mixed salads (pasta, potato, bean, etc.) that were laden with oil and mayo. Except for the meat, my plate was empty most of the night. I'd rather go to the other locations, where the meat and service are still quite good and the variety is way better."

  • "It was Monday dinner service and we did not get to try all the meat that was in the menu for Monday, the meat was good but slow coming to the table and when it got to the table not everyone was able to get it. Some of the meat was not offered to our table, but to others only. I don't now what kind of a system they have, if any, but they need to fix it. Overall the food is amaizing and the restaurant very good."

  • "We love Copacabana for the delicious meats. While delicious, and a unique dining experience, brace yourself for the terrible service and mobs of people waiting to be seated. You can only make reservations for groups of 6+, and if you don't you stand in the lobby area or outside waiting to be called. We always make a reservation, but it still takes >30 minutes after your reserved time to actually get seated. There is no buzzer system or anything to help make the wait more orderly. Hungry people mob the hostess and angrily ask when they are being seated since no one knows. You can't hear the hostess when your name does eventually get called so people elbow up to be close to the front like they are trying to get service at a busy bar."

  • "Love how they give you small portions because you get to taste everything and then get more of what you liked. They come around with the food faster than a dim sum cart at a Chinese restaurant. Their service was wonderful, they are very nice, polite, fast and approachable. My family and I went here for my brother's birthday and I just asked a server if they did anything for birthdays and she smiled and asked me where we were sitting, how my brother looked like and about when we want to surprise him. I will for sure go back here with my friends and family again!!!!"

  • "I find that making a reservation does not have any preference at all ... as I had to wait until after 11pm for a table when my reservation was confirmed for 10:30pm. The selection and the frequency of staff passing was great but for business dinners this is definitely not the place to bring a conservative client. As a professional with professional standing I was let down with the service offered upon entry.I was greeted by the hostess upon entry and then periodically she would say that the table over there will be yours when they leave and then the table leaves and she seats someone else there and when question she states that it is a larger group and that the manager has placed them there but you stated that it was my table."

  • "If you like to dine and still have a conversation with your partner this is not a good place to go. The music was too loud. I called in the manager and he said this was his restaurant vibe. He didn't show any concern in accommodate my complaint or worried about making adjustments. I found a bit rude. I expected at least some "I will see what I can do" type of approach. It was Christmas and we had loud night club beats playing for over an hour during our time there. We got to enjoy some Christmas songs towards the end of our dinner around 7:30 and still it was loud! I expected more for the money paid!"

  • "I decided to take some family from abroad to Copacabana for dinner. They were very helpful in terms of reservations. The food was spectacular and the ambience is perfect. I loved the pineapple, cornbread and the salad bar was great and obviously the different steaks and chicken was also out of this world. This is my second trip to Copacabana and the only complaint I really can say I have is that for a gap of about 20 minutes we weren't served anything. Normally that would be a big deal, but with the amount of food that came after, you become kind of grateful for that 20 minute break. The bill was $400 for 8 people which is pretty reasonable considering the keg would be the same price and isn't half as good. Thanks Copacabana!"

  • "Great mix of food and a great way to sample so many different types of meats. My only negatives were that I did make a request when booking online and it wasn't even acknowledged. Also I have heard they have great entertainment each day of the week and they had nothing when we went. Maybe next time I'll try call in next time to find out what days they actually have a band and dancers. My ranking on service was primarily due to the lack of response and clarity on the entertainment part, the servers were great."

  • "This was our first time to the restaurant & it was great ! The food was delicious & plentiful. The only negative feedback is regarding the service from our waitress - it took forever to get our drinks (to the point that we ended up going up to the bar to get them ourselves !) & our bill taking almost 1/2 an hour to receive/pay - pretty brutal ! That being said, all the carvers (guys who bring around the meat) were super polite, professional, friendly & helpful."

  • "Delicious meal. Went on a Tuesday night and there weren't too many people so the servers gave us a little extra care. Was disappointed though with our table server. She didn't ask to change our plate until the end of the meal and was pretty slow in general. Also, the four dollars for a cup of tea at the end was a little annoying but delicious food and great service. Would go again."

  • "The overall experience was great except for the hostess who was unfriendly and insisted that I stand away from the hostess podium and wait, 'over there', as I was 10 minutes early. It left a negative feeling with me! She is the first impression of the restaurant and definitely needs to be trained so that she receives guests in an welcoming manner."

We had a lot to eat, there is many different options in terms of meats and sides to choose from. The service was attentive always bringing meat to you and asking is everything OK.   • "Came here with a group of 10. On the whole, a very enjoyable experience with a mix of seated and buffet service. Staff were friendly happy and great! If you want to eat a plethora of BBQ'd meat, you've come to the right place. We did have a vegetarian in our group but they eat seafood so got to enjoy the fish and shrimp offering. 2 hour seating limit BUT they ask you about what you would like if the guys with the skewers of meat don't come around enough or if you're looking for something in particular off their mega list of meats on skewers. There were a couple of things that were over seasoned but given the amount you got to choose from, you just tried something else. Great time had by all."
