  • "Love the food and wine at Cooper Hawk. We had a slight problem with one of the entrées ordered, but it was quickly rectified by management. They truly care about their customers. Service was a little slow but I think out waitress was just having an off night. We have dined many times at CoopersHawk and this was our first time with issues, but that won't keep us from going back!"

I really appreciated the way he interacted with her. She felt special on her special day. In all it was a great experience."

  • "I was able to convince family to celebrate my daughter's birthday with dinner at Cooper's Hawk. Made reservations for 7:15, but did not seated until 7:30PM. There were so many groups there that it was difficult to hear each other. Can't blame others for wanting to be there, too, but have been there before and I did not remember the rambunctious atmosphere."

  • "Recently took two of my staff to celebrate their birthdays. I've been here about 3 times already but this was their first dining experience. We were served by Valerie who was very informative and attentive. The food was awesome from the appetizer sampler to the main entrees. One notable negative was the choice and volume of music played in the restaurant area. It was very loud, making it hard to carry on a conversation. It was also "heavy rock at times" which we thought was a bit dis-tasteful for an establishment of this character. It was only when we were leaving did the tunes temper down a bit. I'm not advocating elevator music by any means however "head banging" tunes should not be on this menu!"

  • "I would like to point out first that this was posibly the best steak I have ever had at a restaurant (Chimmurri). And they have a wine for about everything you can imagine here. and we started our meal with a cheese tasting - how many restaurants do that? However, I should also note that we came here for our anniversary and while it's a very nice ambiance in the restaurant, it was quite loud on a Saturday evening when we were here. And, being a practical person, I have to note that we just recently went to the Lighthouse in Cedar Lake, a favorite of ours, and the two tabs were very similar-for 3 (our son came, who ate more modestly than my wife and I) at Cooper's Hawk, and 5 adults at the L.H. Worth it? Yes. But it won't be our new regular."

We have never had a bad experience at any of these restaurants and ALWAYS loved the experience! I have never been to any restaurant that has so consistently met my expectations. It is by far my most favorite place to eat!"

  • "Had dinner with my wife for our 20 years anniversary of our first date. My only complaint would be that it was loud in the dining area this time. There were kids diving onto the floor next to our table. This took away from the romantic atmosphere for us. I wish they could have put us in the other section of the restaurant but it looked closed off due to a lower head count. The food was excellent, and so was our wait staff. Overall we had a good experience."

  • "We ordered the Cooper Hawk sampler platter and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. Both were yummy and the dipping sauces were very tasty. We all ordered different items from the menu for dinner and everyone enjoy their choices. I ordered Riesling to go with my dinner and it was light and refreshing. We would definitely go back."

  • "The quality of the food is usually extremely consistent and this visit was not as good as the past few times. We ordered new items and so we always have high expectations. The chicken saltimbocca was gristly and the crab cakes were not as crab-filled as we would have hoped. More filler than crab or kinda smaller than expected. We will return as it is a nice location and usually excellent."

  • "This place is the place for wine lovers . They have a great variety of wines and they encourage you to have a couple of free wine tastings. The ambience is nice and the good is delicious the portions are just right if your not wanting any leftovers . The prices are are a little pricey but overall I think it's a nice place to go on a special occasion or just for a night out with the girls a perfect date night place . Not a place to take kids into opinion."

  • "What I have noticed about some restaurants lately is that they want to charge a premium price for less than premium food. Coopers is one of those restaurants. My husband and I both had the fillet mignon for 30 dollars each and were not impressed with the cut of meat served. I'm using Gino's as a comparison. We also had the Drunkin' Shrimp Appetizer, again, unimpressed because they use farm raised shrimp with little flavor. We also paid 3.99 extra for the loaded potato, I was unclear why I paid extra for basically a baked potato with butter and sour cream. As far as ambiance, this would not be somewhere I would bring a date. I believe this is a franchise and it reminds me of a Red Lobster or Olive Garden."

  • "This was our first visit to Cooper's Hawk and we went to the restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. Started out very nice with a great atmosphere, but then as it got more crowded the noise level increased considerably....... to the point where we could hardly hear each other talk across the table. The food was a little pricey for what we ordered, but it was good. Our server was awesome and really added to our dining experience. This would be a better place to go with a group of friends more than a quiet dinner for two."

  • "After a work meeting 7 ladies met their for lunch. I made our reservation that day on-line even though I was nervous doing that it worked out great. I've had trouble with that in the past at other restaurants. Our server was friendly and attentive. He helped each of us with our drink selection and food choice. We had four new diners with us they had questions. Our only glitch of the day was when I served the wrong meal but it was quickly fixed. Having worked in the industry I know that things like that can happen. I will be back and will recommend to friends and family."

  • "It appears that the food on their menu was not made from scratch. The calamari that I ordered appeared to be that of the frozen food variety and the sauces were not very tasty. I get very disappointed when I order calamari and all I get is the rings I can buy these in many grocery stores. I also order the Fish & Chip dinner and when I tried to eat the fish it was totally covered in a thick batter wiith very little Cod Fish on the plate for which I informed the waiter of this matter for which he told me that they had received other compliants about the same thing. My wife had the Jambalaya which I tasted and was it too was not very good. If I should go there again I probably will only order a cheeseburger you can't go wrong with that"

  • "True to Coopers Hawk the food and wine are awesome. Our server Antonio was great, flowed with the group and went out of his way to take care of my dad and make him some anchovy olives for his Martini. The restaurant was not full that day and out of all the tables available they sat us right in front of the servers station. We constantly had servers buzzing past, loud staff conversations and the usual kitchen noise. It was not a relaxing experience."
