Diner Reviews
  • "Great food and staff. Wine club membership has its perks, but even without that I would keep coming back."

  • "I made reservations for the evening to celebrate my sister's engagement. The mood was already positive and our experience at Cooper's Hawk just added to the evening, making it one none of us will forget. Our waiter, Derek, was spot on with everything. He was very attentive and informative, going as far as getting us a new bottle of wine when he noticed from the cork that the wine was subpar and even showing my sister their upstairs room for rehearsal dinner ideas. The food was amazing and the wine was the topper to the evening. We will be coming back!"

  • "We had a great experience! It was busy but did not feel rushed through our meal. The food was great, the service was also good.. The tasting bar staff were wonderful too. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices. We also purchased 4 bottles of wine! You can go casual."

  • "Food was good, service was a good, but a little muddled. Various people bringing various dishes to the table. Husband ordered a Caesar salad that came out without dressing on it - then, before we realized that it had no dressing, another server brought a Caesar to the table that he thought was ours."

  • "Another great meal at Cooper's Hawk. The quality of the food and experience is very consistent. Can't wait for the next time."
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "We always enjoy or food and wine. It's a bit loud so the atmosphere is not very romantic but the food wins out over romance I guess."
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "If you're newly into wine they have a wide variety to match the very abundant menu. The only draw back is they only serve wine bottled by coopers hawk. Other than that overall it was a pretty good experience. We will return again."

  • "After having a good experience during a previous visit we decided to go back for our 10th anniversary. We started by ordering the cheese plate, and we were a little disappointed. While the cheese was ok it wasn't anything we couldn't have put together from our local grocery store. The rest of the food was good but not great. The service is what really let us down. Our waiter seemed to decide from the beginning we weren't with his time. He was very inattentive and completely ignored my husband's mention that we were there celebrating our 10th anniversary. We did end up receiving a card for the wine tasting, but I'm not sure we will go back."

  • "The atmosphere was amazing! The service and food were truly top notch! I would recommend this to anyone, however; if you are a wine lover you will enjoy it even more!"

  • "we were celebrating a birthday and the only request my daughter made for a restaurant was to have creme brulee for dessert. We told our waiter and he put in our dessert order. He came back after 10 minutes with a very sad look only to tell us that the dessert was ruined and would take another 15-20 min for a new one to be made. We declined but a different dessert was brought out and was complementary. As we were leaving the manager came over and apologized and then proceeded to give my 22 yr old daughter a complementary bottle of their own wine. The staff went over the top to apologize for something uncontrollable. We will return for creme brulee another day"

  • "It was good, nothing over the top- It seemed to have a misguided dress code- We had never been there before, but we checked out the menu and pictures, and with the advertised prices we assumed it was a slacks and skirt kinda place, but there were people in rain boots and jeans sitting near us with a little kid. It was just a little awkward since we were dressed up."
    Dined on 4/7/2014
  • "Wine and food were excellent. My only issues were with the house salad (it's not worth ordering) and noise (they seated us next to the kitchen even though other seats were open)."
    Dined on 4/5/2014
  • "There are many gluten free options and even have gluten free bread!"

  • "My husband and I came to Coopershawk to celebrate our anniversary. We were seated promptly, ambience was nice and romantic, however our service was very poor. After ordering, our waitress came back to our table 10-15 minutes later saying she couldn't remember my order. Very slow and forgot our straws and silverware, leaving us sitting for several minutes until we could ask for these items to eat. My husband ordered a steak and said he'd never order one from there again. He ordered his steak medium well, but it came out rare. I love to go to Coopershawk for a girls night out for dessert and wine tasting, but our most recent experience wasn't a pleasant one."

  • "Did not see waitress for long periods of time, but she was very nice. Just very busy. Food was overcooked--chicken saltimbocca was like shoe leather, my beef was dry. Another diner's rare tuna was perfect, however. The worst thing was the restaurant was incredibly loud--had trouble carrying on a conversation! This seems to be a function of the large crowd and high ceilings I've noted in many chain restaurants, which I normally do not frequent. Back to my small locally owned foodie joints!"

  • "We were a party of three. The experience was top notch all the way around. We enjoyed being able to taste different wines before making a choice. Our service was very good. We each chose very different entrees, and, all were delicious. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back any time we come to Easton. We live 1 1/2 miles away, but, do visit several time a year."

  • "Enjoyed a great meal...scallops, turkey burger, Parmesan crusted chicken, and flatbread. Excellent wine list, all made by Coopers Hawk. Great tasting options!"

  • "I went with my husband for our anniversary and really enjoyed our time. The food was good, the service was great and the make your own wine flight was perfect for someone who likes different kinds of wine. The only thing a little disappointing was the bread pudding, while not terrible I have had better. The truffles were great!!"

  • "We really enjoyed Coopers Hawk dinner and wine tasting."

  • "I'm a frequent diner of fine foods and wine in town and am yet again thrilled with the food and service received at cooper hawk restaurant. This has quickly become my favorite spot. The food is fantastic, I had the wasabi mashed potatoes, Parmesan crusted filet medallions and asparagus. My food was well prepared and was delicious. I tried many wines (they'll let you sample many based on your interest) but always come back to the barrel blends. Their luxe line is fantastic as well. Lastly I recommend Zachariah as your server. He'll ensure you have a great time and has a passion for what he does."

  • "At Easton, you have several excellent choices for a meal for 2 around $100. This isn't one. We're glad we tried it, but we're not sure what the big deal is. The wine is, well, nothing special. The food is extremely salty. And oh good, while waiting for our table I can shop for candles like I'm at Cracker Barrel."

  • "My husband and I dined here for dinner on Saturday; we had made reservations. Disappointing aspect of meal was the food. I chose the surf and turf selection with filet medallions and crabcakes; Mary's potatoes and mixed veggies....The filet medallions were sirloin at best; not very tasting; reminded me of steak that you prepare at home; mixed veggies were a little too al dente when it came to the carrots; had a hard time putting fork in to pick up; Mary's potatoes were displayed as a mound of smashed potatoes that lacked flavor; crab cakes were pretty tasty; food was lukewarm at best. My husband's strip steak tasted that it was previously frozen; very gritty in texture and lacking flavor. Also lukewarm. veggies- same; baked potato good"

  • "a few small issues but nothing that would stop us from going back. the 1st issue was the lettuce wraps. When it was brought out it looked very nice but the plate had a lot of ingredients to make the lettuce wraps but only 5 leaves of bib lettuce. the runner did no explain what any of the sauces were, we had to kind of figure it out on are own. the 2nd issue was the ceaser salad. When it came out it was very dry (i asked for extra dressing after) also the lettuce was almost shredded in 1/2 strips that problem with this was that the lettuce was bruised because someone used a dull knife. Other than those two issues the service and the food was great (short rib, flat bread, tomato soup, banana tart). I am a Chef so i am kind of picky."

  • "Large menu with many options. Although there are many tables/booths, it 'feels' intimate and you can actually have a conversation without yelling. Enjoy the wine flights and the option to pick your own. Food has been excellent every time. Great and friendly wait staff. Will visit again and again."

  • "Made reservations for 7:00pm Sunday night. Our table was ready, our server suggested the house red and crab cake appetizers. Excellent service, wine and food."
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "Cocktails were unique and wine great! The seafood cannelloni was tasty, a little too much sauce and not a lot seafood. The pecan crusted mahi was delicious, but the meal was cold. The steak medallions were very tender and tasty but also cold. The appetizer sampler as always terrific! Unfortunately it came after our soup and salad. The desserts we took home and they were delicious."

  • "Food is usually great, I just didn't like the BBQ chx salad."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "Steak was over cooked and chewy for a fillet. Service was terrible. We were there for 2.5 hours and didn't drink excessively or have dessert. Good thing we did the wine tasting before, or it would have been much less fun."

  • "timely reservations, prompt service, excellent food, great wines."

  • "My wife and I went to Coopers Hawk for the first time in Columbus, OH. Overall it was very good, the food, the drinks, the price, the ambiance etc. it wasn't the greatest meal ever but I would certainly recommend it. The place has good energy and is always busy."
