  • "weekends are busy, so plan accordingly. Worth the wit."

  • "We luckily made reservations because we had a feeling the bar would be packed, and we were right! Took a table in the dining room and our waiter was wonderful and attentive. We had just come from work, so we were looking more for the happy hour feel and enjoyed our wine and flatbreads. Great food, great service and great conversation ~ an overall fun evening."

  • "We usually go to Coopers Hawk at least once a month. The service and good have been excellent every time. They have a great wine list also."

  • "Enjoyed our experience with friends. Joined the Wine Club and was able to get our monthly bottles poured at the table. Excellent wine selections. Food was very good. We will be back to pick up our wine of the month and enjoy the food. Great little shopping area with wine themed products as you enter."

  • "Lux Pinot Noir was fantastic! Food is always 5 Star!"

  • "First time here. I asked for a table off to the side, in my reservation. We were nicely accommodated. Good was excellent, as was wait staff, and hostess. Very loud atmosphere. Our whole time there, the conversation consisted mostly of, "What? What did you say? Excuse me? I can't here you." This was a party of five, celebrating a birthday. It was pretty dark in the room, also. Hard to read menus, unless you were under the spotlight. Five people at the table, were presented with one fist sized pretzel bread loaf. Two would have been nice. This was a Friday evening at 6. Not sure if other times are less loud. Overall, four out of five stars."

  • "There was a great range of food options at a great price. Flavors were delicious and options varied, including a lower calorie menu for those watching their figure. I went with a customer and we all enjoyed the meal and I would definitely return with friends, or clients."

  • "Because I've had good experiences here in the past it's easier to overlook a not so wonderful one - food was only so-so, service was slow."

  • "Food and service is always good; however, it was really noise this time."

  • "We ate at the Cooper's Hawk winery in Orland Park, IL a while back and it was awesome! So when my husband said he wanted to go to Cooper's Hawk for his birthday, I selected the one closest to our house: Arlington Heights. When we arrived that night, the host boasted how wonderful this location was and how all the chefs train there, so naturally we expected it to be a great experience. Then we had Gail as our server, she was somewhat shifty and seemed to not completely know the specials, which was understandable. Then she brought our pretzel roll to the table, but dropped it on the floor. She did retreat and eventually brought us a new one. She brought my salad after the food runner brought our dinner. Just generally disappointing."

  • "We have tried three different Chicago locations. They were all perfect. We joined the wine club about 9 months ago. We make a date for lunch to pick up our wine and enjoy a nice day or night out. Good food, good wine and great service."

  • "Amazing night out! Server and restaurant staff went above and beyond to make our night memorable. The royal treatment! We will definitely be going back!"

  • "This was a last minute decision to go to Coopers Hawk last Saturday. Was able to snag a 8:30 reservation and we had a nice, relaxed dinner. No rushing and a nice pace on the serving of each course. Have not had a bad experience in 4 visits."

  • "The food is amazing, anything on the menu is tasty. The wine list is extensive and again, all of the wines have their own special and delicious taste. All have been excellent and I have had over 20. The wine club is a must. Not only for the monthly bottles of wine, but for the other added bonuses that come along with it, such as free entrees for birthdays, wine tastings, etc."

  • "Everyone at this CH location is so pleasant and on point. Have a location closer to home, but love going here because of the great service from the host stand to the restaurant(Ashley!!) and the wine bar(Jackie!!) - don't get me wrong, others are awesome as well, but I love my two girls!"

  • "I would highly recommend Coopers Hawk to anyone who is looking to get a great restaurant experience at a great price. We celebrated my fiancées 30th birthday and the waiter made the experience one to remember. The food was on point and the price was even better."

  • "We love Coopers Hawk. We are never disappointed in the food or the service. It's so easy to keep ordering the things you love. This time we ordered something different and were not disappointed. Great Job Coopers Hawk !!!"

  • "Not impressed with the food at Cooper's Hawk.... we went for a birthday celebration and while the menu was good - we were surprised when we got our food at it was lukewarm. Not good. The server did comp a dessert as it was for my wife's birthday...but didn't tell us - so we ordered a chocolate cake on top of their complimentary dessert."

  • "My usual experience with Coopers Hawk is usually very good; their food and service are above average. But I was disappointed this time. I took my friend for a birthday lunch and I told the waiter it was her birthday. So they brought a small plate of sweets. It was fine until I got the bill; they charged me for the birthday dessert! This was the first time I ever paid for one. I will continue to go there but not to celebrate a birthday again."

  • "Amazing wine! Beautiful restaurant! Makes you feel like you're in Napa Valley. I get the blackened bleu chopped salad every time. AMAZING. Viognier wine is fabulous. Tried Sangiovese, Barbera, Coopers Hawk White - all delish."

  • "My boyfriend and I took my parents out for their 31st anniversary and now they love Cooper's Hawk as much as we do, thanks CH!"

  • "This is my 3rd time going to Cooper's Hawk restaurant in Arlington Heights and overall the service there is great. The food is a hit or miss. It just depends on what you get. The appetizers are amazing, especially the Asian pork belly tostados and the over the border egg rolls. I love the filet medallions and the pasta dishes. However, this time the food was just okay. The cook pretty much burned my sister's steak and the vegetables in my short rib dish were hard. Of course the manager came over and made sure everything was corrected and our waiter apologized. Despite the hiccups with the food, the manager does make sure you come back and gave my sister and I a desert on the house. Now, that is what I consider excellent customer service."

  • "Service was slow and dishes were not cleared timely enough. Food temperature was lukewarm. Other location in burr ridge is much better!"

  • "Yes, I will recommend Cooper's Hawk to a friend. No, I will never recommend the Arlington Heights location. Went there to celebrate my niece's wedding. I can't attend, so I wanted to have a special dinner with her. They tried putting us at a table in the back corner after specifying it was a special occasion on my reservation. Then I excused myself from the table to run in the tasting room to buy her a gift she was eyeing during our tasting, and wanted to have someone surprise her at the table with it. I ended up doing that. They looked at me like I had 3 heads. I found the employees rude - too busy pushing off memberships to new customers. Like the Wheeling location, but will not visit the Arlington Heights location any time soon."

  • "Love Cooper's Hawk but the Arlington Heights location can be loud when they are at full capacity. Thankfully we had a booth more in the back so it wasn't quite as loud. Always great food and wine."

  • "Very enjoyable time! Food was great, as was the service. Will definitely come back."

  • "I had a great time hanging out with my wife and daughter BUT Cooper's Hawk is painfully mediocre. The food was average to below average. How do you mess up a chicken parm sandwich? My daughter wouldn't even eat it. It tasted horrible to me. The red wines made $2 Chuck taste like premium wine. I cannot remember the last time I was so disappointed in a restaurant. If the wine was good the food wouldn't have stood out as being so mediocre. If you have any taste in wine don't waste your $. I wasted $200. There are much better places to dine in Chicagoland."

  • "The service is great and the food is even better. The overall experience was just amazing. There's even a front portion of the restaurant dedicated to shopping all things wine. This is a great place for a romantic dinner for 2 or to meet new people. The menu is on the smaller side but with great choices. And with great food and great service it comes out on the expensive side. A dinner for 2 could b an easy $100 including tip depending on what you order"

  • "My recent visit included a wine tasting . I was happy to see a friend try wine for the first time and wonder why she didn't try it sooner. I think she already plans to visit again and buy some bottles to take home."

  • "Did wine tasting, amounts were just barely a taste."

  • "Lunch or dinner are always a delight at any of their locations. We have never been disappointed. Cooper's Hawk is one of our favorites."

  • "We're members of the CH wine club, and go there often. Our CH of choice is South Barrington, but we were meeting friends and wanted to meet mid-way between homes. The food is always exceptional, however this location is not as good as South Barrington. It is much noisier, and the tables are quite close together. The staff is not as friendly, maybe because getting around is tight. CH is our favorite restaurant, the variety of choices, and the quality of the food makes it so, but this is not our favorite location"

  • "Fine Food and Great Drinks makes for an "A Plus" outting. Everything about the experience was above board. Friendliest and most professional staff in an establishment that large I"ve seen in a while. Will definitely be returning."

  • "Nice resturant. We enjoyed our food & drink very much. We've eaten at Cooper's Hawk three times now -- once in St. Louis and twice in Chicago. The best dining was on our first visit to Cooper's Hawk in St. Louis where the food was truly exceptional. The food in Arlington Heights was fine as well, but there was just something extra special about what was prepared in St. Louis. Wait staff is highly trained and pleasant."
