Cooper PubSunday brunch w/extended "fam"I found the actual breakfast items offered for brunch were not that plentiful. Also, I need to eat gluten-free and there were definitely not many options for me. What I did have was good, and I believe the other diners were happy with their food, just not quite the brunch menu we had hoped for.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Serviceas always, we received prompt and excellent service at Coopers, very accomodating for groups!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGood ChoiceThis was my first time here. A few friends recommended it, and now I'll be recommending it to other friends!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOur party of 6 ate at CooperOur party of 6 ate at Cooper Pub on a busy Friday evening. We were ushered quickly to our reserved table. The server was excellent, he was attentive and prompt, he made good suggestions concerning drinks and menu items and had a great sense of humor which kept us laughing. The food was excellent, everyone in our party enjoyed their entrees. We'll be going back to Cooper Pub again!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a group of 6, everyoneWe had a group of 6, everyone found something on the menu that they really enjoyed. The service was terrific and we really had a great time!!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Happy Hour! We wentGreat Happy Hour! We went for dinner, but ended up ordering off the HH menu. Made for a very affordable dinner.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMTables are spaced far enoughTables are spaced far enough apart to allow for a quiet lunch meeting. Excellent service. Convenient free underground parking.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAn Irish Pub for EatingA beautiful setting, but not just an Irish pub.The food is great and varied. I have had half a dozen different entrees, ranging from pan-fried walleye to meatloaf to vegetable curry, and they have all been delicious. Prices are very reasonable, with most dinners in the $10-15 range. Try the pan-fried walleye for the closest thing you've had to a shore lunch. The deep-fried walleye in the fish and chips is not as good, so get the cod.The curry is surprisingly good, with condiments to adjust the heat on the side. All the vegetable sides are fresh and not just potatoes -- braised kale the other night. Desserts are sized for one, but then again they are only $3. Fast becoming our favorite restaurant.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Pub Feel and FairService was great, food was good. We will be back for sure.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for breakfast/brunchCooper is our neighborhood pub - this was our first time having breakfast there however. We arrived when they open at 10am and sat at the bar. The bar side filled up soon but was not overcrowded. The breakfast menu is hearty and satisfying. Great options for everyone. Coffee is good and strong too. The bar tender was our server - which was a nice change from someone coming to your table. We'll be back again for another morning repast.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. I had the cornedGreat food. I had the corned beef and cabbage. It was really good and a good sized portion. My wife had the hanger steak which was also very good. We started with the artichoke dip which came with garlic bread and pita crackers. It was good, although I really wanted to try the rueben spring rolls. Saw several sandwiches that were huge and looked really good as well.
For my birthday, they gave me a complimentary piece of cake. No singing which I appreciated.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMA great brunch!First time for me and will be heading back! Brought family for a birthday brunch and had great food, great service and a wonderful time! Our server went above and beyond what we have experienced with servers at other restaurants recently. One of the best brunches in town; perfect for families with "little ones"; and, priced right!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Place to EatVery good service, food and general atmosphere. We went early evening so the seating was quick, food was superb and the noise level on the east side dining area was reasonable enough for a good table discussion.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMI enjoyed the interior ofI enjoyed the interior of the restaurant and the appetizers were delicious but the selection of beer was not what I expected. I knew this was an Irish Pub but figured they would have a few more domestic beers on tap for people who love beer just not the ales and dark beers that Cooper's offers. If you like specialty beers and dark ales this is the place for you!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWas there on Easter in theWas there on Easter in the evening. Much quieter than when I have been there previously. Server was outstanding and food was good. My guest and I were able to sit a visit for 2 hours.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMTHE BEST WALLEYE!Absolutely the BEST Walleye dinner my wife and I have had in the Twin Cities!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a group of 8, 3 ofWe had a group of 8, 3 of which were little kids, for Sunday brunch and Cooper was an excellent choice - great service, great food, the staff treated the kids well - it was an overall great experience.
