Arctic char was savory and the roasted beets on a wooden plank with homemade yogurt were a complete charm. As an afterthought, we ordered dessert and it was a stunner. Cookshop delivers with great food and a very friendly staff. Enjoy.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Meal!I very rarely rate restaurants with all five stars, but the meal we had at CookShop the other night was fabulous. Everything from the service to the appetizers, entrees, and the most amazing desserts were top notch. I have been here a bunch of times, but my most recent visit was by far the best! They are changing their menu all the time, so it's always fun to try new things. Also have a great variety on the menu of salads, pasta, fish, meat, etc.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe kitchen was slow withThe kitchen was slow with our main dishes. There was a nice variety for a brunch menu. The service was also very good. A pet peeve of mine is when restaurants clear away your plate while others at your table are still eating. They came to take mine and saw my friend still nibbling, so they walked away. Very respectable! Would definitely go back and maybe try dinner or another meal menu.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMUniformly wonderful.Aleays superb food, friendly snd attentive service , especially by Maria who is an exceptional gem.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMBest brunch NYC but needs peppersBest brunch in NYC maybe anywhere. Yay!!!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMCookshop Dinner 3.28.13 Family of 4Been many a time to Cookshop. Ordered fabulous North Atlantic sea food tapas appetizer outstanding. Fried artichoke appetizer superb. Waygu steak incredible perfectly prepped. Roasted lamb as per my 15 year old son excellent. Seafood stew was a let down. Not flavorful. Poor presentation. Cheeses plate and incredible citrus salad dessert were great combo.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Food, Good ServiceI mentioned that it was my birthday and my husband and I got a prime corner table as well as lovely sparkling wine on the house. This joint was hopping and the food was very nice - interesting combinations of locally sourced, organic, market to table cuisine. I had an amazing red endive salad followed by chicken. My husband enjoyed his pork chop (tender and well seasoned) and we both indulged in desserts.

The chicken on the kale salad was waaaay better than any chicken on salad had a right to be. You knocked it out of the park. Thank you, Cookshop!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner before the theater--couldn'tDinner before the theater--couldn't have been nicer. The waiter suggested the burrata as a starter--it was superb, wonderful herbs and olive oil to go with the delicious cheese. I had the chicken--it was done to perfection, and the generous serving of mushrooms, greens and potato puree with just the right amount of sauce was like going to heaven. The cup of coffee was huge and delicious. What a great experience.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
