Cook Hall is a unique and modern take on an American gastropub, serving as the primary public food and beverage space and center of activity of the hotel. A bar-centric food hall where handcrafted cocktails are stirred, brews are drawn and small plates are passed, encouraging guests to share and engage. Cook Hall features regional American fare comprised of familiar comfort foods, updated and refined for the modern diner’s palate.
The menu focuses on shareable small-plates, which encourage groups to socialize in a convivial atmosphere. Cook Hall cocktail kits are available for guests to swizzle, stir and shake things up at their table.

  • "We wanted to try Cook Hall because it is near our home in Buckhead. We went had a Saturday night reservation at 8 pm with another couple. We arrived at 7:30 to have a cocktail at the bar first. There were very few tables of diners and the hostess and server kept pestering us to be seated. The food was actually quite good. We shared duck tacos and olives and hummus to start. The tacos were delicious, just spicy enough. My husband and I split the crispy chicken and asparagus risotto dishes. Both also very good, though the risotto was a tad bland. Cinammon donuts for dessert were great. Unfortunately, service was very intrusive. Also by the time we left the place was empty."

  • "I have been to Cook Hall several times and it never disappoints! Ordering small plates always makes the meal enjoyable and new! We went with a party of 8 and everyone loved all of the food. The cocktails are great too! After everyone had a cocktail in hand we ordered our first round of snacks - love the deviled eggs and popcorn shrimp! The group was afraid that we would fill up if we ordered more appetizers so we went for the entrees - they were all wonderful! The fish was amazing, and also had a side of cauliflower and humus - it sounds different but tastes great! There were lots of desserts on the table and none were left by the end. Everyone agreed that we could go back the next night and eat all different things on the menu!"

  • "I have a running date night with my lady and we rotate who picks a new place and who pays each month. This month I picked Cook Hall. The place is cozy and has a really attentive staff. I had the braised short ribs and collard greens and she had the scallops and a salad. The flavor of the food was amazing. Things are meant to be shared so they area a little bigger than tapas but smaller than real entrees. I would definitely recommend this as a place where my friends should try out."

Overall overpriced for what you get since the $13 burger doesn't come with fries. The fries were very good but you have to order them separately. You can get either spicy, truffle, or garlic."

  • "Went to Cook Hall to use a gift card given to us by a real foodie. Food was delicious and well presented. However, we gave the server our gift card to settle up. The server ran the card several time and then were told that it had a zero balance. Quite shocked, we whipped out the good old AMEX and were prepared to pay for our wonderful meal. It was definitely worth it. But another couple tried to pay with a gift card and it also had a zero balance. Quite chagrin, the manager came over and profusely apologized. He immediately comp'ed the meal without any prompting. He did the right thing. We will certainly be back and not just for the food."

  • "Got a reservation for Friday Valentine's night out. My date and I had a good time. Cool location, good food and great drinks. We enjoyed the Charcuturie Plate with cherry mostarda. As our waiter advised, we tried the liver pate and really enjoyed it. Also had the deviled eggs with crab and a different take - horseradish providing the heat rather than mustard. Chopped salad was good but not outstanding, found it a bit dry. Finally we shared a the Crispy Chicken which came with a favorite, brussel sprouts. It was very flavorful but parts of the chicken were overcooked. Finished off with the chocolate truffle/raspberry layer cake..excellent!"

Thunderstorm that morning, totally understandable. OJ awesome, food great. Took very little time to get breakfast. Good, a bit pricey, but not out of line. Had dinner there on Sunday. We were both exhausted and not feeling great. Reservation @ 7pm It was not that busy, we were in no rush (inspite of not feeling best). I felt that the (few) courses we had, were a bit rushed. Why push diners through, when there is no one beating the doors down? I have run into this at many other venues before."

  • "With an empty restaurant on a Saturday evening it made us question our decision upon walking in. Moreover by the end we were ready to run out. One would think with only 5 other seated tables the waiter would have had no problem keeping drinks filled. Not to mention the purpose of tapas is to have a lingering relaxing meal. With their staff constantly eating the table of our plates we had more of an impression of a rushed meal. Although the food was amazing I am not sure I will be going back again. This is a shame as our first experience while the restaurant was full was much better."

  • "Being in the great Buckhead location that it is, and within the W this was a great find! The drink menu was very intriguing and the Jalisco Flip and Sparking Gingered Pear are definitely worth a try! We went with the intention to try the Stout Ice Cream Sundae but it was no longer on the menu. Instead we tried the highly recommended Blue Crab Deviled Eggs and the Popcorn shrimp which we're both delicious and fun. I also recommend the Baked Apple Torte/Gallete. It was so hot and fresh when it came out with some delicious Caramel ice cream on top and a great way to end the night. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend to a friend."

Cauliflower with hummus includes flash fried golden raisins. Everything was delicious and for a hotel restaurant, not outrageously priced. If it hadn't been for walking through the lobby to get there, i'd have never known it was associated with the W."
