CoohillsMother's Day BrunchWas a buffet-style brunch, great ambience, open atmosphere and food was great. Cannot comment on regular menu options and prices.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA favoriteAlways special, never had anything less than really, really good. Brunch choices creative: eggs poached in red wine, flavor mix of Arugula, pear, feta with perfect dressing was delicious. Green beans with almonds in delicious sauce. We liked the texture and flavors in the sweet potato hash, and again, flavors, texture and gorgeous color of "cranberry sauce".
Have to laugh, I checked Scenic View because we all like railroads and the trestle is a delightful feast for our eyes!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat breadThe food and service were just ok, but I have been before when everything was stellar. The fresh baked bread and with sea salt butter was delicious. The crab cake was unbelievable. The brussels sprouts were heavy with oil and the soft shell crab was just tasteless. The duck confit was good. There were 2 different tables that had brought their children which I did not appreciate since we were on a kid-free date.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat foodStaff was great and knowledgeable. Chef came out and greeted us. Food was very good though pricey.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went to Coohills rightWe went to Coohills right before a Nuggets play-off game. Loved it! Desserts were unusual and really, really good!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMCoohills couldn't have doneCoohills couldn't have done more to make this birthday celebration dinner more special. We were seated with a great view of Cherry Creek and the urban scene. The food was distinctive and delicious; the waiter was very attentive. They even provided some extra treats to mark the occasion. And they got us off to see the Nuggets game at the nearby Pepsi Center without delay or rush.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMCoohills has great serviceCoohills has great service and great food! you will not be disappointed with your visit there!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMService and food were bothService and food were both top notch, would recommend to my friends going to Denver!3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMCooHills was surprisinglyCooHills was surprisingly modern. Given the history of the owners, from the south, I thought it would be more southern charmed. The 5280 menu was a great representative of thier regular menu. we sampled many items. The wild mushroom risotto would leave anyone satisfied vegetarian or not. and...the twist on the bread-puddin a hit!(not going to describe it is a must go and taste) YUMMMM!3/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our favorite of theThis was our favorite of the five 5280s we visited this year. We are anxious to go back and eat on the patio this summer. If you offered more casual offerings we would go here before Rockies games.3/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
