"We have been to Convito Cafe several times and really enjoy the food.
They could use a bigger space , however. The tables are quite close
together and when all of them are full, the noise level makes con-
versation more challenging than I would like."

"Regulars seem to get a different class of service and that's ok if the basic service was a little better. Since the kitchen is knocking out quality food the front of house should set it up a little to match."

"Pleasant place with good food. My friend and I had been there before and looked forward to going again. Somewhat slow and lackadaisical service did not spoil the experience, but it was an annoyance. My guest ordered coffer with the meal, which did not come. By the time we caught the waitress and repeated the request, I also was ready for coffee, and asked for it. She then brought coffee to my guest and asked whether I wanted some, too. That took another few minutes, of course. The busboy (?) asked whether we wanted desserts, and we asked for one. More time went by. The waitress asked whether we ewanted desserts, and we said we had told the other person. Her reply was something like, "Oh, he can't get them without my approval.""

"We have now eaten at Convito four times in the last month, once for brunch and three times for dinner. We eat out a lot and like to visit different restaurants, but have been drawn back to Convito because we have wanted to be the first to show it off to our friends who also enjoy wonderful food. They have a very creative menu, the food is outstanding, and we have truly enjoyed every bite. From the wonderfully succulent mussels in a delicious saffron and garlic red broth, to their maple glazed duck breast, with a final finish of the not to be believed chocolate fondant, a molten chocolate center of liquid heaven. And now I just found out that the head chef will make me my favorite dish (my secret) anytime I want if I just ask for it."

"Great neighborhood spot.We've been there many times and always have had a good experience - lunch or dinner Some tables are better for discussion than others. You need to let the maitre 'd know if talking is important to your experience."
