Private Party Facilities: Conga Latin Bistro has three rooms for private parties or events. The Conga Room is a 60 seat elegant. The Conga Bar is the main room, seat over 120, full service bar, dance floor, great light/audio/sound system. The Conga Lounge is in our lower level, seats over 110, full service bar, dance floor, and great audio/video/light system.

Entertainment: Starting Thursday April 9, 2009, Conga will feature every Thursday, Michael Hauser and his Flamenco show. No cover, great Flamenco show. Come for dinner and enjoy a wonderful Flamenco show from 6:00 PM until 9:30 PM.

"Having been to ths restaurant before to watch Flamenco and enjoy dinner, we were eager to go again. However, we will not return for dinner. We received a house salad instead of the ordered Ceasar, food arrived stone cold after a 55 minute wait between salad and entree, the wait staff never checked back to see if all was "OK", and empty glasses were not removed. Although the salmon sause was delicious, eating cold mashed potatoes was impossible. The hostess offered to send a dessert home with us when told of our displeasure. It would have been more appropriate to adjust the bill. The hostess tried to be helpful but our wait person seemed to avoid us. A pitiful experience."

"Not very kid friendly. We went in for lunch on a Friday, it shouldn't have been too busy. Our party had 3 adults and 3 kids. We had to ask for a kids menu, they didn't have one. The waitress brought us some coloring pages but no crayons. It seems like they didn't have a lunch menu, just a dinner menu. We ending up waiting for everything and we had to ask for everything. The food was excellent, but the service was lackluster."

"I think if you have a coupon or gift certificate that already includes or mandates gratuity, the level of service is inappropriate: glasses unfilled, plates not cleared quickly...

"The food was great but the service was really slow and I mean slow. The food made up for it. I would go back for the food but would pray the service would be better. It just wasn't our waitress, it was the whole wait staff, all tables seemed to be waiting. The staff spent more time talking to each other then helping the customers."

"The food was okay...my husband had the seafood stew and he was expecting it to be spicy and it wasn't but he did say it was flavorful. I had the Argentina meat plate--the steak and the Spanish sausage were tasty but I found no need to put the sub-par chicken breast on it. We had a Tres Leches for dessert that was quite good. I think I was expecting more ethnic flavors overall. But the staff was very friendly."

"I hate to write poor reviews, but I have to let you know about our visit to Conga Latin Bistro on Saturday. They did not have a table for us, even though we had a reservation and it took almost 2 hours to get through a meal. They had 2 waiters for probably 20 tables - just can't make that work. Great food but the worst service in the Twin Cities..."
