  • "Petoncles was pricy, 19$, for 3petoncles. The grilled octopus was extremely tough, afraid to choke on it. Found that the food was not hot, not even warm, hence not so tasty. I suppose the highlight was the serving of fried sweet potatoes. I ridiculed my boyfriend for ordering such a plate at a tapas resto, nonetheless, in the midst of our six tapas, it was the best pic. Considering i don't ever ever eat fries. It was an experience, however, would not go back. Needs to b more authentic, less commercial. Plates definitely need more garnishing. Add a different spark to plates, after all, we are paying good money. Service is nice. Friendly waiter."

  • "It was a great surprise that it is a tapas but fusion cuisine. We tasted every that was proposed by the house, it was a suggested menu. The taste is just "au point" perfectly dosage. Servers are nice and attentive. At the end of the meal and the evening, we asked to bring our café on the terrace and it was accepted with a big smile even though we know that it is not our server's zone of service."

  • "Food was outstanding; took the Theatre menu which was perfect. Chose a Roussillon wine, exceptional with this meal. Service was excellent, personal and professional, welcome very warm. Music was a bit loud but no one else seemed to mind; very comfortable restaurant even if the tables are close to one another, don't feel like we're one on top of the other. Loved the tables with the swings! So Confusion Tapas du Monde seems to have it all, superb food, terrific service, great wine, fun ambiance. Certainly going back!!! ... and we were on time for the theatre!"

  • "My wife and I dined at Confusion for lunch. We ordered 4 tapas items (fries, 1/2 chicken, prociutto platter, and lamb sliders). All 4 dishes were fantastic, with our favorites being the 1/2 chicken and the lamb sliders. The chicken was full of flavor and cooked to perfection, and the lamb was unlike anything I've every tried. Very delicious! I look forward to returning and trying more items!"

  • "Sceptical at first but wanted to try something new. We were not disappointed. The service was stellar and the food very good. We had a dish not to our liking and we told the waiter about the dish and it was taken off our bill without incident. In fact, the owner tasted the dish and found it to be unsatisfactory as well. For our troubles they served us a very nice desert free of charge. We will return with fiends."

  • "The portions for the Valentine's Day table d'hôte were ridiculously small, even by tapas standards. Also, some of the items on our menu left us confused as to their inclusion (hence the name of the restaurant?). FIVE tiny clams in a single bowl of bisque and THREE strawberries for dessert, to be shared between two people? Why not put an even number??? In all, a disappointing first experience. Our supper lasted two hours and we left hungry."

  • "This was my first time to the restaurant. I was trying to surprise my date with a new place that I hope she had never been. Unfortunately she had been before. The decor and ambiance was interesting and relaxing at the same time. I really enjoyed my meal. The lamb sliders, sweet potatoes fries, salmon tartar was exceptionally good. My date said it was by far the best experience as compared to the previous times she had been. Service was quick, waitress was attentive and helpful to our needs verand questions. I will definitely return."

  • "Je suis déjà allée quelque fois a ce restaurant. Et cette dernière fois, j'ai été relativement décue par l'ambiance. D'abord, il faisait tres froid. Notre rangée de banquette avions tous au minimum un manteau sur le dos. Et lorsque je l'ai spécifié au gérant s'occupant des réservations, il m'a dit que c'était comme ça, d'attendre que ça se réchauffe...au final, j'ai eu froid tout au long du souper. Le serveur a également oublié de me servir dès le commencement, j'ai donc patiemment attendu 30 minutes avant d'svoir une bière et un peu de pain. Enfin, la suite du service fut excellente! Et la nourriture délicieuse à son habitude."

  • "We found it a bit pricey (just over $50 per person for light eaters) but the food overall was very good. We ordered eleven tapas for four people and we left just a bit behind. We liked the salads (especially the quinoa salad but the arugula salad was also good and generous). Also very good was the beef cheek and the octopus (the duck and the scallops were less of a hit). Our service was not great (a few mistakes on the food orders and an error in the bill). Also we felt that a vegetable alternative for pita could be provided to go with the humus for the gluten-free (the humus was excellent) but were told that this was not possible. I wouldn't mind going back though it wouldn't be at the top of my list."

  • "We were looking for something new and at the last minute. After making the reservation an hour before and arriving we were excited, and we weren't disappointed after our night. The ambience was amazing, a place you can have fun while eating. The food was delicious...and will need to go back soon to try the rest of the menu. We had a such a good time we ended up leaving while they were closing up. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food and want to explore their taste palette."

  • "After waiting for 1 hour to get my hands on the food I had to deal with a quite "special" waiter who explained to me: "the restaurant is busy, we have only 3 cooks and 80 people here" (shocking face) I don't think this is a very professional explanation.... plus After telling him I am gluten intolerant and ask for a dessert suggestion for the second time cause I was making sure I could find something really GF, he said: "I already told you" well, besides waiting too long and having the patience of Dalai Lama, yeah, I would come back just for the food!"

The restaurant is in the basement of a beautifull And old building but they made a hit with a modern And design decor which include a row of suspended chairs... Everything we took was good. Small downsides ; i would have made portions a bit bigger or lowered prices. Leg room And individual Space was a bit tight. Try the lobster mac'n'cheese Bmorin69"

  • "We have been to Confusion around 5 times already. As usual, the service was outstanding. However, this time, we were a little disapointed with the food. The beet salad was simply sliced beets, no imagination. The foie gras included in the trio of meat was a shame. It was rubbery, no texture. We even told the waiter that apologized but did not offer any replacement."

  • "The food was great; the service inexplicably slow. Waiter arrived quickly and ran through how things worked, and brought us a pitcher of sangria fairly quickly, but then was gone *forever* - even after we flagged another waiter down to ask him to get our waiter over, he still took forever. Had short ribs - fantastic - totally of the falling-off-the-bone variety and really flavorful. Gazpacho, salad with arugula and feta, grilled scallops, salmon tartare - all great! Sangria just okay."

  • "Le restaurant est installé dans un demi sous-sol. Le décor est bien fait avec des murs de pierres, probablement celle qui était existante. Il y a aussi des tables avec des balançoires une place. Voilà pour les points positifs par contre, ce qui est dans l'assiette n'est pas très spectaculaire. La côtelette d 'agneau est composée plus de gras que de viande ce qui diminue considérablement la portion. La pieuvre est dure on dirait que l'on mange une poitrine de poulet! Les crevettes de sept-îles sont fades tout comme le foie gras poêle. Bref une déception côté culinaire qui ne nous donne aucunement envié d'y retourner."

  • "Nous allons à ce restaurant plusieurs fois par année avant des spectacles. Nous avons été surpris par les changements des tartares. Le tartare de saumon était beaucoup trop crémeux...presqu'une mousse. Le tartare de bœuf qui avait toujours été fait au couteau cette fois-ci, avait visiblement été fait à la machine...on aurait dit du steak haché. Dommage car le personnel est très sympathique et l'endroit charmant. On y retourne? Pas sûre! Il est peut-être temps pour nous de changer d'endroit!"
