  • The worst experience and food ever!
    OpenTable Diner Since 2011
    Dined on 12/23/2011
I have to say this was the worst character breakfast we have ever been to. The food was horrible. We paid $78.00 for two adults and a child. We ate nothing and waited forever to see two characters. The french toast was engulfed in sugar. You couldn't even taste the bread. The eggs were like rubber. The waffles were like a sponge. I am so dissapointed and will never be back. The price is outrageous. For that amount we were expecting good food and some interactment with the charcaters. We get better food at McDonalds. We visit the parks twice a year. This is one stop we will never make again. $78.00 REALLY??

Food was outstanding. The servers were very attentive. Breakfast with the Grinch was exciting for kids; as well as for adults. The staff member leading the Grinch was very fair when having the Grinch visit the different tables.

Second time we have done the Character Breakfast and it was great again. The food is great and plenty of it and the character interaction is the best. Better then Disney as far as I am concerned. Spideman rocks... We also did lunch one day and it was just as good.

This was a character breakfast. One of the characters that we caught a glimpse of when we walked in disappeared and we never saw him again. We didn't feel that there were enough characters visiting the tables. Spiderman, Thing 1 and Thing 2, that was it. Our waitress disappeared as well and we had some difficulty checking out.

We went to Confisco's for a Character Breakfast and found it to be a wonderful experience! The food was great, the service was excellent, and quite frankly, the characters spent significantly more time with each of the children than at many other area resorts. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend it!

Over all this was by far the best character breakfast EVER! Our son is 3 1/2 and loves super heros and cat and the hat. Cat and the hat was good, thing one and two were very funny but Spider Man ROCKED!!! We were not expecting Spider man to talk but just be your ordinary walk around character. He took the time with our little guy chatting and cracked lots of jokes with him. He was a great Spider man for kids and adults. It's been one week and our little guy is still talking about it. We would recommend this character experience to anyone with little kids!

We celebrated my daughter's seventh birthday at the Confisco Grill, and we had a great time! She was able to take pictures with the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and also, Spiderman. The characters and the staff were wonderful to us, and there was a nice selection of food and beverages offered. We will definitely dine here again during our next trip to Islands of Adventure!

We were very pleased with the characters at the breakfast in Confisco Grille. They were quite accessible and made sure they spent an adequate amount of time including photo ops for us. Spiderman was outstanding and our children are still talking about him. We were a little disappointed in the food. The eggs were not very flavorful and the fruit was not properly chilled. The service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. All of the staff seemed friendly and very willing to help.
