  • "My family wanted to bring me somewhere special for my birthday. We had a birthday gift card for the Concordville Inn so decided to try them for dinner. Previously had only been at their Sunday Brunch. It was a Monday night and not many customers were there, yet we hardly saw our server. Maybe if they had scheduled additional waitstaff it would have improved the service. There is a very good Surf & Turf special on Mondays,, but you can not use any birthday gift card, coupon, etc with any daily special. Ordered a regular entree off the menu. On the positive side, the broiled crab cakes were very good and the stuffed salmon was excellent. The subpar service prevents me from recommending Concordville Inn as a "Special Occasion" choice."

  • "The Concordville Inn puts on the best brunch buffet I have ever had. The quality is really good and the selection is enormous. We took our daughter and son-in-law and two grandkids. Our grandson is a seriously picky eater but he found several items that he really enjoyed. His father was delighted to find prime rib on the menu and our granddaughter loved the pasta, as well as the bacon, omelet, fruit and chocolate coated strawberries!"

  • "This is one of my favorite restaurants. We went for my husbands birthday for the Lobster Special they have. Food was excellent. Although I was disappointed because the kitchen was so slow. There was a party in one of the front rooms, so I'm assuming they just didn't have enough help in the kitchen that night. Worth the stop though...this is the first time that I would say anything wrong.. The brunch is very good also."

Pleasant subdued atmosphere Staff very well trained, and do a good job. I love having The Inn close by my home, it is always dependable for a nice evening. Thank you."

  • "We started going to Concordville Inn for the Wednesday $5.95 menu and were so pleased then and are now. Have had class reunion dinner , family wedding, rehearsal dinner, wedding shower, birthday brunch and so many couple get togethers there because it feels like being waited on at home. Best crab cakes, dark side of the moon cake, fresh veggies, good salads and a cheery staff who greet us sincerely and servers who have perfect timing for refills, answering questions and exchange pleasant conversation that add to that feeling of welcome."

  • "Still the best restaurant for their entrees for Salmon with Crabmeat, Crabcakes, Shrimp Stuffed with Crab Imperial. Very nice cocktails also. Our family continues to come to Concordville Inn for all of our special occasions."

  • "Hands down, the best brunch in Delaware County! My most recent visit for brunch was a little different but still top notch. They changed the location of the brunch to the bar area. It covers more area and less crowded. I also liked the fact they added soup. Keep up the great work!"

  • "We were not greeted upon entering the restaurant. The host was on the phone so we waited back to allow him to finish his conversation before giving him our reservation. Without acknowledging our party was waiting, he sat 2 smaller parties that arrived after us. We had an older person with us and they sat us as far away from the buffet as could be. We were seated at two folding tables put together. There was a bar on the folding tables at knee level, so you could not scoot your seat completely in & each of us knocked into the bar with our knees at least once, shaking the table. It took about 15 minutes to receive our check after we asked for it. We are usually seated at a nice large round table, why not this time???"

  • "They have a nice, all-inclusive brunch. They recently redesigned the table layouts for the food, so that it is easier to move around and get to what one wants. The food is always quite good, although they could do a better job of labeling the items so that people aren't poking at some things to figure out what they are or what's in them. We do wish they had a selection of regular and herbal teas, but they don't - just one kind of regular black tea. If you prefer a particular type of tea, consider bringing your own and then ask for a small pot of hot water. I'm hoping they will send out the coupons they used to have for a free brunch during your birthday month - my birthday is coming up :)"

  • "Our dinner started wrong when we were placed in the very back of the restaurant with our two children. We felt singled out. The sever had an attitude right away - we asked her to place the order for our children in advance of our dinner & if we could have a drink menu. She was very short, snippy & very unfriendly. She acted like she did not know the menu - no salads were offered that came with the dinner. My salad was covered in dressing & was a trough of lettuce. We also ordered stuffed lobster tail that came without the stuffing which was later brought to us on a separate plate. For fear of having our food mistreated we did not complain. The food was mediocre at best. definitely banquet food. We would not recommend this restaurant."

  • "I have been there several times in the past and had a great experience however on this occasions the waitress was horrible. She was short with us, rushing us etc but we could see at other tables where she was friendly, pleasant etc. We were wondering if our treatment was because we were black."

  • "This is not our first trip to the Concordville Inn but it will probably be the last. We had reservations but the table wasn't ready when we arrived. Once they were ready to seat us we were seated at a table for two in the back surrounded by large parties and noisy unruly kids. The waiter took a long time to attend to us. Drinks took forever. Food was good as usual but the noise and the seating were horrible. There are so many restaurants in the area to choose from so it is not necessary to have to go there. It used to be good. Now it is just average at best."

  • "This is a nice place for brunch, with a good mix of breakfast foods, omelette station, belgian waffle station, station for prime rib and ham carved to order, seasoned pick-and-peel shrimp, salads, desserts, etc. Service was very good. The food was very good as well. Our party included two coffee drinkers; both said the coffee was weak. The setup for the food service area can be a bit tight or crowded at times; it appears to be set up in an L-shaped enclosed porch."

  • "The food was yummy, the service was excellent! I brought my daughter out for her birthday and she fell in love as well. Favorites were the crab cakes and the chocolate desserts (there were 2 and both were amazing!)."

  • "I've been patronizing the Concordville for over 40 years and although we had an early reservation at 5PM and the restaurant was not crowded our party of 9 was escorted back to our table and it still had dishes on it, the hostess told us we would have to wait a little till the table was cleared and reset and told us to go back to the lobby to wait. One person in my party had an obvious physical disability and difficulty walking so I refused the request. The staff then argued with the hostess in front of us about who was going to clear the table. Once the table was finally cleared (about 10 minutes) we were asked to be seated, as we started toward the table a staff member cut in front of us to put dinner rolls and butter on the table."

  • "I've been to the Concordville Inn a few times. It was in existence when I lived in the area some 35 years ago, and it's still going strong today. Quality and staying power. The food is very good (I was stuffed at the end of my meal), the service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is old school charming. It's a big place for the blue-haired folks, and I noticed a few dressed up families, as well. The bar is nice, as well. Bartender Frank was terrific, and we felt right at home with the locals who were having a few. The Concordville Inn may not be new and hip, but it's consistently good and comfortable. It's definitely worthy of consideration for a nice night out."

  • "Great place for dining with friends. Several of us had filet oscar which was excellent. A friend had chicken parm and was disappointed. Pasta was a bit overcooked. I love the snappper soup. All in all it was a very nice dining experience. Liquor and wine prices seem reasonable although our group only had 1 beer and 1 mixed drink. There are nightly specials also. Service was quick, pleasant and efficient."

  • "The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. We were in town to visit Longwood Gardens and so glad we pick this restaurant. The Crab balls and bacon wrapped shrimp are a must for appetizers. The Filet was so perfect."

  • "This is normally the best brunch I have ever experienced. The food is incredible and the selection is large and varied. I honestly have never had a better brunch anywhere - east or west coast . I highly recommend the Sunday brunch but keep your group small so you can be seated in the smaller rooms. Its more elegant and quiet and an overall enjoyable experience. I went for the first time with a large group and we were seated in a large, noisy gymnasium-like room and it was not very pleasant. As long as you sit in the smaller, more intimate rooms you will have the best brunch experience of your life!"

  • "The food was good, not great. My husband's steak was not medium rare, but medium. What killed the experience was the waiter. He was nice enough but got lost somewhere for over 20 minutes as we were finishing the meal. The Manager had to come over and take the dessert order............"
