The service was exceptionally friendly yet very professional, and the ambience was social but not too loud which was nice so that you could have conversation without loud music or neighbours. Bienque situé dans le Vieux-Montréal, Le Communion est tout sauf un attrappe-touristes. Le menu est raffiné, créatif et savoureux, les vins suggérés par les sommeliers sont exquis et souvent exclusifs. Le rapport qualité-prix: excellent. Le Communion, c'est plus qu'un resto, c'est une ambiance et une expérience mémorables.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe great outdoors.If you enjoy outdoor dining, this is a great place to stop by. Plenty of room and a comfortable setting. The food however was just okay. We took the table d’hôte. Started off with the amuse-bouche. Fig stuffed with meat, served on a horseradish sauce with slivers of almonds was really good. The Arugula salad with bits of sausage was interesting. I like Arugula so hard to not to like the salad. But the chicken with eggplant puree was a bit bland. I was hoping for a smokey taste to the chicken but didn't fine anything special about it. Overall I like the place for it's atmosphere. I'd give them a second try. 2 out of 3 dishes were good so still in their favour.
