Diner Reviews
  • "Had a business dinner at Comme Ca during a trade show. The food was pretty good, and they have a nice wine list. The service is very attentive. Biggest drawback is the music is way too loud for a French bistro. Turn is down a bit and make it somethign more French and all would be better."

  • "One of the most creative menus in all of Vegas. Great service. The only thing they could have done would be to turn the lights down a little more to make it more elegant. But, overall…two thumbs up!"

  • "I chose Comme Ca because I was staying in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and it was convenient to go to a restaurant a few floors down from my room. I almost left without ever tasting the food because the pretentious hostess insulted me before we were ever seated. The hostess made a big production of asking me if I've ever eaten French food before. WTF? I was very tempted to ask "Do french fries count?" (ask a stupid question get a stupid answer). The cuisine wasn't really French either. There was a bouillabaisse and steamed mussels but most of the other dishes were not french. Steak and pomme frites is still steak and fries."

  • "This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint. The food was outstanding, the service was wonderful, and for a view of the Vegas strip, this is good as you can imagine. This will definitely be a place we visit again on future trips."

  • "Wife and I went for the Comme Ca burger and were not disappointed. My cocktail was unbelievable (Rose 8)!! Burger was juicy and fresh and the onion slaw was great. Fries outstanding. Menu looked great and would definitely go back next time in town."

  • "Fantastic staff!! Beautiful cocktails, try a combination of what they have to offer. My favorites were the Thyme for Bourbon and the one w/Rose water; DIVINE!! My husband had the flat iron steak which he liked, until he had some of my Short Rib. It was so flavorful and tender!! We"

  • "Delicious, a must try in the beautiful Cosmopolitan. Start with drinks in the bar and get a seat near the window to enjoy the view outdoors of Las Vegas. Great food, we stayed with drinks over wine (just personal choice). Enjoyed a great seared foie gras, charred octopus, seared scallops and steak frites. The waiter was on spot and kept checking in ( good service). definitely worth another go."

  • "This was my group's first experience at this dining establishment but we'll definitely return. The menu was fairly typical French bistro fare but was prepared to perfection (from appetizers to dessert). The wine list was modest but varied and our server was extremely attentive and helpful. This was just a delightful dining experience."

  • "I love going to brunch at Comme Ca. The service is great, the drink menu is fun and the food is great. Both times I've been there I've had the duck confit cinnamon rolls, which sounds strange but is amazing! The oxtail benedict is not to be missed."

  • "The dinner was tasty and with a few exceptions, excellent. The raw clams on the seafood "Plateau" were butchered by whoever opened them which made them nearly impossible to eat. The oysters were, however, properly prepared and quite good. The pork was delicious as was the bone marrow. The chicken was good but not exceptional. My Sazerac came neat rather than with some ice, which was OK except I hadn't been asked if I wanted it that way. The noise level is also a bit high"

  • "Restaurant was not as good as previous experiences. Nice view of the Strip and attentive service, but food just OK. Had the "tarte flambeé" - good,, but neither a tart nor flambeéd (it's flatbread). Steak frites - fries were good, steak seemed baked more than grilled; no proper sear, arrived too cool to melt the herb butter on top (which tasted strangely fishy??)."

  • "The food took over an hour to receive for a group of five. The noise level was crazy even though the place was not busy at all and the cost of the bill was very expensive. Not a place to take clients with the duration of the meal along with the inability to hear the conversation. The acoustics were so bad that the server at the table over had to scream the specials to get his table to hear. Not a place I will visit again given the many options that Vegas has. Sorry Comme Ca, server was excellent, but noise, cost and time to get the food to the table ruined the experience."

  • "we happen to be in Vegas during a wonderfully warm period of February and enjoyed thoroughly the outdoor patio seating... the view would have been 5 star if it weren't for the large Bellagio sign blocking most of the strip - but nonetheless, a great atmosphere... Food was good - not amazing... Service seemed a little slow at times, maybe because we were outside... and they had PBR on draft - which was a nice "down to earth" compliment to the cuisine..."

  • "We had a wonderful meal at Comme Ca as our server was attentive and the food was outstanding. We went on a Sunday around 8 p.m. and the place was nearly empty which I purely attribute to the day of the week. Will be back on my next Vegas trip."

  • "In Vegas you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a great restaurant. In it's price range, this falls squarely in the middle of the pack. We had no real complaints and the food was good, but it wasn't one of those moments you write home about. It's about like every other upscale French restaurant, and executes its menu solidly. We enjoyed dinner very much, but with so many restaurants to try this didn't rise to the level of a place to which we must return."

  • "Well, they didn't have their Bastille Day BBQ and brunch which worked out just fine. The cinnamon bun with a duck confit is amazing. That will be all you need too. Huge. Great staff service and views."

  • "We enjoyed Comme Ca in Vegas tremendously. The food was exquisite and the service was outstanding this time around. The drinks were will balanced and very tasty. The view near the window showed a busy street that was interesting to view from time to time. The chocolate Soufflé ending was totally worth the wait :)"

  • "Went to take my wife out for a romantic date. She loved the view, we both thought the food was good, but not fantastic. We had the burger and the risotto. We sat outside on the patio with a view of the strip. The tables were situated to be really private which was nice, and we had a heater near the table to keep her warm. I would go again and try some different food. Overall it was a great date with my beautiful wife. Service was great as well."

  • "Our server approached us with a "what do you want?" attitude and turned down my fiance's request for the 3 course dinner because we both weren't going to order it and the chef is "too busy tonight". We both settled for the regular menu and got a salad to share, the risotto (the main reason I chose the restaurant in the first place) and the bouillabaisse. I salad was a good portion and pretty tasty. When I got my dish it was soupy rice-a-roni to say the least. My fiance's bouillabassie was salty almost to the point of inedible. My best experience here was with the food runners and bussers whom delivered impeccable service."

  • "The food was fantastic... Cooked exactly the way we ordered. I had the scallops which were big and tender. My wife had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection, not dry but moist and flavorful. The sauces with our meals were absolutely delicious and the house cab wine was very good. The wait staff was very good and not in your face...but there and efficient."

  • "Among the hundreds of dinning opportunities in Vegas, this one is one of my best finds. It eclectic, yet romantic and the food is fantastic. It is also obvious that the staff is happy to work there. Thank you Comme Ca!!!"

  • "Many, many fine dinners in Vegas over the years, but at the moment I can think of none better than this. Inventive, quirky, and across-the-board delicious. This is accessible complexity, with a knowledgeable and friendly (and prompt) waitstaff to deliver it. Great view of the Strip, perfect ambience, the whole package. But these are things you can get with relative ease at other LV locations -- for Comme Ca, it's the food, the food, the food. Treat yourself. Wish I was going back tonight."

  • "My wife and I shared a nice dinner overlooking the strip. The food was very good and the service was fine as well. They didn't have Captain Morgan, which I was surprised by, but I wouldn't let that spoil my overall rating of a very good meal, with good service. We had several other meals during our trip which topped this experience, but the location and overall experience would have us return."

  • "We ordered the tarte appetizer that was really a cracker thin flatbread and full of flavor! We shares the Steak Frites and still not ate 2/3 of the steak and probably 1/3 of the huge order of fries. The flat iron steak was as tender as filet mignon and combined with the disc of herb butter, it was melt in your mouth fantastic!"

  • "We've been to Comme Ca a couple of times now and have actually come to the point and realization that ordering two apps each is enough to stuff us for the evening, No two dinners here are every alike as we enjoy dabbling through the menu apps and sipping on some of their exceptional cocktails."

  • "I had heard on Good Morning America that the chef was great here but the menu choices weren't that inviting to me. My husband wanted a steak but all of the choices were huge. The wait staff was great. They need to hold back on the dressing on the house salad. I had the risotto which while wasn't what I really had in mind was delicious."

  • "We went to Comme Ca for a nice anniversary celebration. Looking forward to French Onion soup, escargot, nice French bread and perhaps some french cusine. Instead we were told there was no Fench Onion soup that night, no escargot and menu selections limited. French bread were 2 tiny baguettes. Since we had already ordered our wine we decided to stay. We had heard that the burgers were good, so we had $18 burgers. They were good burgers but not sure worth the price. With 2 glasses of wine our bill was over $80. Pretty pricey for burgers. The only thing French was the glass of champaign. Service was not great for only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant. However, the view of the strip was excellent."

  • "If you have a large party this restaurant definitely caters to them. It was very loud and hard to hear my girl friends, the server was not very friendly, and it took about 45 minutes to receive our food. The food was good, but everything else says we wouldn't recommend."

  • "Very pleasant atmosphere but that's where it stops. We ordered and then waited and waited. I ordered a Cosmopolitan (the hotel specialty) and when it did come after asking 2x, it was The size if a shot...& $14. We had to ask for bread Nd when it finally came, they gave us 2 small rolls. My partners onion soup was. Old and greasy. My steak fritte done well but when I asked for steak say e, first I was told they didn't have any. Then as of by magic after I was half done, a vessel of sauce came to the table. It was in edible & they charged $3 for it! I should've not paid, but was too tired to Rgue. As my title says" a must to avoid"!"

  • "Great place in the Cosmopolitan. This was my third visit to the place. Always great food, friendly staff. Great cocktail menu--I recommend the Sunrise, if you like sweeter cocktails, if you like a darker more "smokey" cocktail, try the "Smoking pistol." The bar staff is also very friendly."

  • ""We'll be back" was my first review of Comme Ca in 2012- the same holds true. From the moment we walked in, it continued to be a memorable experience. Tho the menu seems to have fewer choices than last time, we were more than pleased with each course. The Frisee salad was outstanding - very few US restaurants can make a vinaigrette worthy of a Parisian bistro. As we completed the salad, our server noted to the kitchen that we were 'diners' and thus not to hurry our next course - impressive! Then the steak- Colorado NY was cooked perfectly-delectable. As we choose our dessert, along came 2 glasses of dessert wine? Huh? The GM remembered us from a previous encounter and comp'd us the wine to go with the Profiteroles - does it get any better?"
