Such a cool little restaurant. The servers were very helpful explaining the menu and how tapas works there. The food was really amazing!

It just was great food, good service, amazing ambiance. I would say though you don't need as much as they recommend. They say 2-3 plates a person, probably shouldn't do more than 2. I got 5 plates for 2 and I was force feeding myself and full after 3 plates between us 2. Really tasty!

Very creative Israeli small-plates menu. The eggplant and blood sausage are superb.

The mussels were quite disappointing. It was presented in the same tin can as what can be found in a supermarket. Tasted ordinary too. Overall the food was quite lackluster, although the staff were friendly.

Went to Combina for the first time with my sister for dinner after reading several articles about the newly opened restaurant. Was drawn to the Israeli tapas-style small plates, and the menu offering looked adventurous and exciting (read: salted cod donuts, persimmon carpaccio...), and it did not disappoint! The waitress helped us select a perfect wine pairing, and was attentive throughout the evening. Our only bone to pick was the dryness of the paella- what seemed like a house specialty. There was hardly any seafood on the plate, and the rice was severely overcooked. However, I would go back for the eggplant escabeche alone.

Cod Donuts (OK) - Harissa Honey Drumsticks (Good) - Lamb Chop & Belly (Very Good) - Brussel Sprouts (Good) Solid Service - Good Martini - Food was hit or miss - Portions are solid size - 4 dishes for 2 people was right on (they push for 2-3 per person - I would assume depends on size of dishes) - Atmosphere was lacking, but it was a cold rainy night - Prices were reasonable - Lamb was very good and didn't need the yogurt or orange sauce on top of it

I loved that the crab cakes were shaped out of doughnuts. Nice touch and so good. The paella is a must. The squid in the paella was so soft. We also loved the Morcillo, perfect tasting blood sausages. The special was clams and equally delicious. We will definitely go back.
