  • "We went right to our table and had a GREAT server!!! She was simple wonderful and helped us to have a wonderful lunch!!!"

  • "Perfect for a special birthday celebration. The best sangria I have ever had, made right at the table and followed by a respectable list of tapas and entree choices. The food was delicious. The decor was interesting both visually and historically, and there were selections for children as well. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. I will return to Columbia the next time I am in St. Augustine."

  • "Very different food had things like yucca as a side. Taste for the entree was superb. The serbe r was very knowledgeable and kept our drink glass full. No sweet tea only in sweeten. Bread before the meal was fresh and warm. Great experience."

  • "The food didn't taste all that unique. Very bland. Missing the ethnic flavors of the dishes."

  • "We had friends from out of town and decided to dine here. The food was delicious and not the usual fare. My wife and a friend enjoyed the Mojitos very much. The server was attentive and interacted with all at the table. The atmosphere was fun. A great overall experience."

  • "WE have eaten at Columbia a number of times , primarily in Celebration, Florida. The quality of the food is the same at every place and the service is always outstanding. My husband and I LOVE it and always make sure we go to Columbia at LEAST once if not twice while we are visiting. I even took my 4 year old grandson and he loved his food too!!!"

  • "I have dined at all of the Columbia Restaurants and the food is always wonderful. The St. Augustine restaurant has a charm of it's own. Sit back with a pitcher of sangria and order some tapas!!"

  • "Beautiful restaurant with historic past. The service was great and the food did not disappoint. Had the special salad, the Sangria and the Paella. My husband and I were happy campers. We would definitely go back if ever again in St Augustine."

  • "Spanish Heritatge in St. Augustine --- they would be proud & honored with this outstanding restaurant --- beautiful building, seating arrangements, service, and food. Perfect!"
    Dined on 7/18/2014
  • "We have been coming here for over 27 years. The ambiance is good, staff attentive, white Sangria is delicious. The food is good but not outstanding. The location is perfect if you are walking old St Augustune. The children's menu is decent with plenty of food for the kids."
    Dined on 7/18/2014
  • "Paella is a must! Worth the 30 minute wait after you order it.Great service...loved the female bartender. Calamari cooked to perfection. Pollo manchego and the "good rice " was delicious"

  • "For a restaurant that has been there for 1905, its probably pretty easy to get complacent in some areas. The women's bathroom was out of toilet paper in all but one stall and the food was just OK. We sat at the bar and had their white Sangrias which were the best part of the meal. We then had 3 tapas: one a sort of crab cake but with lobster, one a pork rib in a pickle type sauce, and the third their calamari. The lobster was alright, nothing notable. The pork rib was recommended by our server and was actually quite good. And the calamari was not the best I've ever had, nor the worse. Just so-so. We won't be coming back. There are too many fantastic places in St Augustine to visit."

  • "Everything was wonderful...as usual...I always try to bring visitors for a meal. We live in Palm Coast..."

  • "The food and service was wonderful at Columbia Restaurant. It was difficult to find restaurant and parking because of all the construction going on in St. Augustine. It would be nice if Open Table would tell you the streets to turn on to find the parking lot since a lot of downtown streets are blocked off."
    Dined on 7/13/2014
  • "We had high expectations but it was not good. No drink refills at all. We were there for 3 hours which would have been ok if the food had been better. Would not go back."
    Dined on 7/13/2014
  • "Came down from DC with very limited time to get out and about in the area. However, I ALWAYS make it a priority to go to Columbia. I have yet to be disappointed with anything on their menu, their service is top notch, and the restaurant is always spotless. The ambiance and history is second to none. Do yourself a favor and try this place!!!"

  • "After so many visits to St. Augustine we finally had the chance to truly enjoy the restaurant. Loved it"
    Dined on 7/12/2014
  • "I have been several times, and have yet to be disappointed. Try the mojito's, they are soooo refreshing and delicious! The chicken salteado was superb - the potatoes melted in your mouth, the rice was just chewy enough and the chicken ever so tender. Definitely one of my new favorites for The Columbia!"
    Dined on 7/12/2014
  • "The 1905 salad was great as usual, and our waiter, Michael, was extremely entertaining."
    Dined on 7/12/2014
  • "I've written several times about Columbia. For my fourth or fifth visit what struck me was how their quality, taste, service and ambience has been so consistent through the years. They are doing such a wonderful job of honoring their history and tradition of excellence. Visiting Columbia has always been a great experience."

  • "We have dine out at the Columbia several times. We always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This past visit we had lunch. The half cuban sandwich and salad was delicious. It was fun to watch the waitress prepare out salad at table side."

  • " The food and service was impeccable. The Mojito's were refreshing!"

  • "The Columbia is a wonderful place for lunch or anytime. The portions are plentiful and the quality of the food and service is outstanding. When is St. Augustine, make sure the Columbia is on of your stops."
    Dined on 7/9/2014
  • "Love the Columbia, but as I have said in reviews time & again, Columbia is a hit or miss. When the kitchen is on point the food is delicious, but like this visit, it was not. We frequent the St. Augustine restaurant because of convenience, but also love the decor. If you can, I would suggest you go to Celebration. There food is mostly on point. Haven't had the opportunity to try Columbia on the Florida west coast. Still waiting to get to Ybor City."

  • "1905 salad was great as always, and I tried the crab cakes which are delicious... none of the fake stuff! and of course sangria!"
    Dined on 7/8/2014
  • "A memorable meal in a beautiful location. The paella was outstanding. Sangria was a hit also. Salads are big! We went in a friends recommendation and it was our favorite meal."
    Dined on 7/8/2014
  • "We visit St. Augustine several times a year and this will now be one of our regular stops! It was our first visit and we tried the Tapas sampler and enjoyed everything and of course the Sangria."

  • "There were six of us, and we all enjoyed our meals and drinks."

  • "The pitchers of mojitos(with sugar cane) are awesome, the espresso is delicious. We had tapas and it was just an all around fun experience. This is my second time going and I know I will be back. So much fun."

  • "The food and drinks were great and our waiter was spot on and chatty. This place is a must for reservations, expect an hour wait without one."
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "The food is always terrific at any Columbia Restaurant. Just know that his one in particular is likely to be full of large families on vacation. It was very loud and crowded this time, and the wait staff needed roller skates to be faster."
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "We had 7:00 reservations and the lobby/waiting area was stuffed with people waiting for a table. The hostess said she would text me when our table was ready. I noticed that outside there were scores of people with their phones in hand waiting for texts. Thank goodness I had the sense to go elsewhere because I never received the text. If they don't honor reservations then they shouldn't make them."

  • "We waited almost 40 minutes, with a reservation, portions have been cut in half. The paella plate my father had was horrible, so small. Our appetizers were $60 &you could barely feed three people when we were a party of 8, and had waiter assistance ordering. One of our appetizers was like a Spanish Bruschetta. It was served on a small bread dish. I was very disappointed as wasmost of my party. The portions are tiny, and I felt like the food wasn't as flavorful as it use to be. Maybe it's because they were busy that the food lacked that Spanish flair. I don't think I would recommend them again. We had 8 people(2were children) we went for lunch approx 2 pm. Our bill was $310 and most of them left hungry. Just NOT what Columbia use to be."
