We al had excellent food, good beverages (wine, sangria, coffee, etc.) and wonderful food. My 85 year old mother loved it and we found everyone had a favorite dish they really enjoyed. The desert special (Blueberry rum cheesecake) was a particular favorite and made the occasion more delightful. We may all have our birthday's at the Columbia in the future. I'm not sure if that is a special order because it was our first time there, but I feel like we were the only ones who didn't receive salad. We also asked for another loaf of bread and never received it. The chicken & rice dish is my favorite and I do try new dihes at different times. This restaurtant has been in business for a very long time so if you enjoy good cuban food this is the place to be. The hot cuban bread with their "1905 salad" really hits the spot while waiting for your main course. The parking lot was beyond packed for Mother's Day and you could tell the valet service was understaffed for the volume of customers. After a heated exchange with one of the valets, I brought the incident to the restaurant manager's attention. He escorted us back outside and took charge of the matter. Our car was quickly parked and we were escorted to our table with no further trouble. Our food and service was outstanding....which is not a shock, it always is. The place is beautiful and full of wonderful ambiance. Spanish music filled the room. Our waiter Daniel was one of the best servers ever. We started with the crab cakes that were very good. Pitcher of sangria made at table was the best I have ever had. Don't miss it. Dinner was the fish baked in parchment was my wow food that is probably the best thing I have ever eaten. Have the yellow rice- fantastic.

We arrived for our reservation time and were seated immediately by a very friendly staff. There were 8 in our group and none of us were left wanting. The appetizers were served quickly and were tasty. The sangria made at the table was a show in itself along with the salad making. The bread was warm and delicious. Our entries were varied but all arrived at the same time and were all hot. Prior to our ordering our waiter was very knowledge on all items on the menu and his suggestions were followed much to our delight.
