Our group of five took over a corner table in the back glassed in section overlooking the back patio. It is very charming and cozy. We practically ordered everything on the brunch menu. The animal bloody marys were delicious as were the brussels sprouts caesar with poached egg, tortilla chips with coffee rubbed pulled pork, surf and turf, shrimp tacos and don't miss the cinnamon dounuts with chocolate dipping sauce for desert! We loved this place, had the best service and time and can't wait to return to try dinner!

We were a large group and almost tasted the entire menu, and one dish was better that the previous. It was an amazing experience! the patio is adorable, very cozy and the service was great. My favorites were:Fluke Ceviche, Brussels Sprout Cesar Salad, tomate and watermelon salad (was out of this world), duck Confit Tacos, Poblano Pepper fetuchinni, also the Lomo al Trapo is to die for (highly recommended). And please try the Gringos Churros and the Coconut yuca cake. Just writing this and my mouth is watering!

just like its sister restaurant, cómodo, colonia verde has that warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay there for hours and have "one more drink." everything we ordered was delicious: the day's ceviche, the roasted poblano pepper pasta, the burger and the picanha, as well as the tres leches carrot cake. will definitely be back.

The environment, the presentation, the staff, the drinks, the deserts, but the entrees and the appetizers while all good very well were lacking a bit in flavor. It seemed like everything could have used a pinch of salt.

I had the burger with the cheese bread (yucca flour bread) bun. The burger was great but the cheese bread bun didn't go well with the burger, plus it was a bit hard. Cheese bread is usually soft and chewy. My Bloody Mary was amazing. The brunch menu overall was small and I wouldn't go all the way to Brooklyn to eat here for brunch.
