Upon arrival we were greeted right away by the manager. We were asked if we wanted to be seated right away in the main dinning room or if we would mind waiting a few minutes for a more seculed corner table. I thought this was a special touch. The waiter was with us right away and offered us menus and offerred to explain the wine list. After sampling I decided on the dry house wine and my wife decided to combine a dry bubbly muscato and a much sweeter wine. Both of us throughly satisfied. Dinner was excellent. My wife had the warm goat cheese salad and black grouper, exquisite. The food was fantastic as was the service. I had the grouper and my wife had the shrimp-scallop linguine. Both dishes were excellent and the grouper was to die for; cooked perfectly. Prices were reasonable---- not cheap but at least you felt like you got what you paid for--- a really excellent experience. The browned butter vanilla bean vinaigrette salad dressing was unique and complimented the rest of the salad. The lobster ravioli was just the right consistency with enough shrimp and lobster to have a good portion. The mousse dessert was light and we enjoyed the coconut sauce as well. Overall, one of the best meals I've had anywhere. The food is excellent and the ambience is exceptional. It is attracting an upscale clientele (it is expensive for the area, but worth it). You now have to reserve two weeks ahead for a popular weekend hour. I made the reservations on-line, and made one statement / request that we would like a nice table because we'd be celebrating 10 years. We were seated at a great little table and received great service start-to-finish. Everything we ordered was just great; the bread, wine, the tenderloin bruschetta appetizer, lamb chops and the black grouper. Although the price is a bit high, the product was well executed and stood up to the pricing the way I would expect it to for that kind of money. The server also brought out a complimentary chocolate and vanilla mousse to say congrats. Very nice touch.
