A word from Colicchio & Sons - Tap Room
In the Tap Room guests can enjoy a menu of specialties from the wood-burning oven. An extensive selection of artisan beers, as well as a distinctive wine list by the glass and bottle, will round out the experience. Colicchio & Sons Tap Room is an excellent option to gather after a brisk walk on the High Line or a long day of work! Colicchio & Sons Tap Room accepts Brunch, Lunch and Dinner Reservations.

For Brunch reservations, guests may be sat in EITHER the Tap Room OR the Main Dining Room. The same menu is served in both rooms.

  • "Visited here for my Dad's 60th birthday. The service was faultless, staff could not do enough for us. They even surprised my Dad with a mini birthday cake & candle, lovely touch. The food was beyond superb. We all opted for the beef brisket between 2 with mustard greens & grits. Wow... Honestly, the best meal I've ever had (and I'm a foodie!). Thank you for a wonderful experience."

  • "I took my mother and two daughters for Sunday brunch on a recent trip to NYC. I went because I've always wanted to eat at a Colicchio restaurant and I was not disappointed. My girls loved the pain Perdue and my pork belly and grits had amazing flavors. The service was impeccable, even after we left. I wrote on the comment card that my mom wasn't entirely satisfied with the prosciutto on her dish and the GM called about 14 minutes after we left and made it right. The service may have been even better than the food - if that's possible!"

  • "I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here last weekend with my fiance and my parents. They were kind enough to print special menus for the table with a birthday message on them. The menu is very interesting and the dishes were all carefully prepared. My entree, the hanger steak, was cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding - our server was very knowledgeable with respect to the menu and the wine list. This is definitely in my top three dining experiences and has reset the bar with respect to service standards. We'll definitely be back!"

  • "The rorom was was too cold, the food I thought was good but not great and the servie was really average along with the bartender (mixology was way below average, hire a bartender at Daddy-O's in the west village) the ambience of the room was way to large I seen Mr. colicchio on TV several times and he has always been super critical, I would suggest that he look at his own restaurant experience and improve it, I would not come back and would not recommend this restaurant"

And the industrial look of the place is stunning. We ate in the Tap Room which is much more casual and reasonable than the main dining room, but more limited menu. Will come back."

  • "Ate in the Tap Room.... Appetizers were spot on, and delicious - buratta, and the farm egg. Dessert was shared, the semifredo, fantastic. We shared the brisket dinner for two and although the brisket was incredibly tender the salt ratio on the rub made the "crust" inedible. The grits were soupy, and the braised kale, meh. Have eaten in the main dining room and that blew my socks off, so I have to say that I was disappointed with our entree :-("

  • "This is becoming our "go-to" place in NYC for brunch and lunch (our schedule does not permit dinner at the location). Ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. We are always greeted in a friendly fashion. Service is attentive but not over bearing. The serving staff work together to assure your table is pleasantly prepared and served. ( Abbie, Jessica, Gonzlao.. Thanks...your service has been exceptional). An Extensive wine list...but the Bar deserves your attention. Bennett is an exceptional mixologist with knowledge of proper ingredients and creates your cocktail with precise attention. The kitchen includes an open oven. Entrées are served hot and visually appealing..followed by excellent tastes and textures./"

  • "We had a great dinner at the Tap Room. Not sure what to expect- would Colecchio deliver or airmail it, given his fame? Happy to report we enjoyed every aspect of the evening. The restaurant is lovely and spacious. The food was excellent - a more limited menu as you would expect since not the main dining room, but honestly plenty for our table of four to choose from. Enjoyed 3 great courses, beautifully served."

  • "As on other occasions, the food is terrific and the service is gracious. The Tap Room, with its floor to ceiling glass windows, is a bright and airy space and a lovely space for brunch any time. My pork belly and grits dish was perfectly cooked, delicious, and just the right amount of decadent to start the day. Our table shared the pretzel bread stuffed with sausage, a yummy savory treat. I mentioned in the reservation that we were celebrating and upon arriving they wished him happy birthday and gave us menus that had Happy Birthday and his name on them. It is the little touches that count! The food was wonderful and I love how accommodating and kind they are with food allergies. Some places make a fuss about it or aren't helpful and here they go out of their way to assist in choosing good options and even provide special bread! We will definitely be back many times in the future!"

We appreciated being seated, even though our guests had not yet arrived. The menu was inventive, yet they were somewhat flexible and accommodating with food preferences.   • "My son and I had a magnificent dining experience . The high level of hospitality began as soon as we entered. We worked with Kate and found her to be a stellar server. I asked for an interesting white wine to pair with my food choices. I was then presented with a thorough and passionate description of three wines. A tasting of the three wines followed and I made my decision and loved the wine! We started an arugula salad with meyer lemon and marcona almonds;amazing and a wood grilled pizza with tallegio, olives, and prosciutto; equally amazing! We then had soft shell crabs, in season and prepared in a delicious batter. We ended with dessert of zeppoles . The zeppoles were like delicious little pillows! We will be back! "

  • "with my sister and brother-in-law. Although we were seated immediately, it took longer than expected (I think) for anyone to come over and ask us if we wanted anything to drink. After that, though, the service was good and the food was great. My BIL had to send his dish back because he likes his fried eggs "hard" and they came out over-easy, but it wasn't a problem and he didn't have to wait forever for his food to come back. I would definitely go back again. Oh, and the C&S pretzel was delicious (it's a big piece of pretzel bread stuffed with gruyere cheese and ham -- YUM!!)."

The servers were delightful, charming women who made some perfect suggestions for me and my parents who were visiting that day from Philadelphia including the vanilla pancakes which I thought were out of this world...we also got an order of the waffles, which were solid but quite as etherial as the pancakes. And then when we ordered a side of bacon, which was a heaping mount of smoking, gloriously charred bacon strips apparently providing some kind of cover for the big tender piece of pork belly that was chilling' on the bottom of the pile waiting for some lovin'! Highly recommended and we'll be back soon for the pancakes!"
