  • "I have been going to Colicchio and Sons for years and I can truly say that I never had less than outstanding meals. Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Tap, Main dinning room .... I have done it all. Every time I leave this restaurant, I am satisfied and happy. If I had the time in may hand to go there several times a week, I would. No questions asked. Join my experience, you won't regret it."

  • "We booked a table here for our wedding anniversary as we wanted something special - we weren't disappointed. The food was incredible, five courses of sheer delight! The service could not have been better - they dealt with my wife's nut allergy with the utmost care and attention. Even a special 'final' course to help celebrate our anniversary. A wonderful place that serves delicious food with a service that makes you feel special. Highly recommended."

  • "We had a completely delightful dinner. Gracious service, excellent food and lovely ambience. Highlights for me were an amuse bouche of a slightly poached oyster and a mid course of spaghetti with clams. Yum!"

  • "I have eaten in many one and two Michelin starred restaurants in the UK but Colicchio & Sons is better than them all . From the two Amuse bouches right through to the petit fours it was excellent , we were so confident that we tried food we would not normally have ,including oyster poached in white wine with a spring onion froth and my wife even had char grilled octopus for her first course which was amazing ! Everything was delightful ,the pomegranate and ginger used as part of the dessert course just burst with flavour on the tongue , Wonderful service supported great chefs to make our evening one to remember forever."

  • "We celebrated my husbands birthday and we could not have asked for a better evening. The food was superb and service was outstanding . One of the best restaurants we have visited."

  • "For two post-fashion-week writers with odd dietary issues, the staff here bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed everything. Not only did they take care for a gluten-free diet, but the server who brought my wine choice essentially made me change my wine choice after seeing that I didn't love the wine after tasting it. "It'll work," I'd said. "I want you to love it," she responded, and proceeded to ask more questions and bring me tastes of a few more recommendations. All of this for "just a glass" of red. *That* is the way to run a restaurant."

  • "We had one of the tasting menus and several courses were not good. The flavors and ingredients did not mix well and the dishes were difficult to finish. The service was great as the waiter noticed our displeasure and immediately offered something else on the menu to replace the dish. Unfortunately the tasting menu and meal did not come together as we expected and we will probably not return."

  • "We were seated within inches of the wait station so it was hectic and noisy. We were given some delicious sample appetisers that were very tasty but we had to ask what they were.We had to ask for the wine to be poured and they only came by once. No big deal but we had to pour the wine ourselves after that. The risotto was an overly salted green soup, with rice in it. I had one mouthful and left the rest. When our plates were removed no one questioned why it had barely been touched. I mentioned the yucky risotto in a comment card that came with the bill and it was removed from the bill which we had already paid. We were presented with a new bill but were not given any indication that the previous credit card charge was cancelled."

  • "I asked...4 course tasting menu...for no added salt. The swordfish taste lost in a salty reduction. Same with the lamb loin. And e en the beautiful salad. Is there a belief that the underlying taste of fresh fish and good quality lamb...might not be acceptable ? I don't get it....we ate so well in France and Sorrento Italy....where the food was not overwhelmed by a salty reduction. Only the dessert was fabulous. The room is gorgeous, the staff great....but ohmigod...never again. Same problem....over salting ....at so many restaurants. .......at all price points."

  • "We wanted a special place to take out 2 close friends for a big event, and Colicchio & Sons checked every box. The room is beautiful, perfectly blending elegance with a relaxing casual feel. Impeccable service -- knowledgeable and friendly, with each course timed to assure that nothing was rushed but that nothing ever lagged either. And beautifully composed plates, packed with flavor, colors and texture. The dinner could not have been better."

  • "I had planned a trip to NYC and wanted to treat myself to a 5 star meal. As an avid foodie I search out top spots of top chefs and vow to dine there at least once. Colicchio & Son's lived up to and surpassed all my expectations. I had the seasonal tasting menu along with wine pairings. Thoughtful and beautifully presented. Staff outstanding. Thank you for an outstanding meal...never to be forgotten and will be hard to beat."

  • "I was so looking forward to dinner here despite the fact that I have been disappointed by celebrity-chef owned restaurants in the past. Sadly, my experience was no different. We sat down to wonderful service with a charming waitress who was more than delighted to discuss every detail of the food we were about to eat. In fact, by the end of the meal I had heard enough about the preciousness of the ingredients. We began with two "very special" appetizers, neither of which I can now remember and both of which were simply odd. We moved on to the house roast chicken which costs the earth and was so mediocre and unmemorable that it seemed like a joke. We passed on dessert, feeling like the $300+ bill we were about to receive was sufficient."

  • "First time to this restaurant and will return. The menu offered some very interesting dishes with unusual combinations of ingredients that were all delicious. In addition to our meal they offered a couple chef selected starters and dessert tasting which were also a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere which offered spaced out comfortable seating and perfectly dimmed lighting was a welcome change from the typically crammed in tables of other ny restaurants. Service was wonderful."

  • "During our 5 day stay in NYC- we dined here two times. First and last night- which was due to the magnificent food and service we experienced the first night. Second visit was as good or even better. The staff thinks about every single detail and their even synced! Last night we enjoyed the tasting menu which was just so excellent in every way. The taste buds had a gastronomical experience of a life time. This restaurant itself motivates me further to return to NYC."

  • "The food and service were outstanding and exceeded our expectations in every way. The restaurant is low key, modern and very comfortable. Our family has serious food allergies and our server and the kitchen catered to us all evening long. It was a special evening, we will definitely be back."

  • "We went here the first night of our 5 day NY stay and we immediately felt this was top notch! After trying out several other highly recommended restaurants in meat packing district- this is by far the best! Superb service with attention to every detail- outstanding taste of the food!! Just outstanding experience.....one of top 3 gastronomical experiences!!"

  • "This a wonderful restaurant that offers great cuisine and fantastic service. Although it was a busy Thurs night we were still able to have a conversation without shouting across the table unlike at a lot of other restaurants. There was also ample room between the tables so you didn't feel like you were on top of your neighbours. The four course tasting with amuse bouche wine pairing was fantastic. The only misstep was that the waiter did not bring the wine paired with the amuse bouche. When the starter came and the wine didn't we notified him and the staff scrambled to get the wine. An appropriate amount was discounted off the check for missing the first pour. Will be returning again but there are so many restaurants in NYC such a dilemma."

  • "The service was perfect, always available but not overly fussy. The atmosphere was great for conversation and enjoying who you came with, not your neighbor. The food was great, fresh salads, mouth watering pastas and hearty entrees of steak and truffled chicken. Oh, the ice creams were my favorite dessert! I loved the almond nougat, my daughter loved the toasted marshmallow. You will not be disappointed."

  • "The Roasted Morel Mushrooms with Green Almonds & Spring Onion, Hamachi with Caviar, Beets & Smoked Crème Fraîche and Black Truffle Chicken were all excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive -- although the timing was a little too fast when bringing the various courses. It felt a little rushed. It was a Saturday night and they were crowded so they might've been trying to turn over the table. Nevertheless, overall a pleasant evening. Nice for couples and family celebrations."

  • "It was a flawless dinner. Absolutely everything was delicious, the service was impeccable and the decor very satisfying to the eye. We told them it was for a birthday celebration and they added some very nice touches. The main room is for a special occasion or an expense account. I will definitely go back and try out the bar room."

  • "Been there a few times and they never disappoint. Most recent visit we went with the 4 course meal. Lobster appetizer was perfectly cooked and had lots of flavor. The signature . Service was impeccable. amuse bouche with the crab was outstanding. Could have had a bowl of that alone and been perfectly content."

  • "Every dish we ordered was superb. The combination of flavors were unique without trying to overdue it. I really did not have any thing negative to say. The pastas were cooked perfectly and all had a very pleasant, but different take on some traditional dishes. The wait staff was knowledgeable and provided great service. The sommelier did a great job recommending wines after we mentioned what we had ordered."

  • "The service is what really sets C&S apart from no other. The single service really makes you feel like you're being served by the Downton Abbey staff. Formal way to serve but within a casual and friendly atmosphere. Menu is selective but I have some dietary restrictions and I was treated like i had my own personal menu. Huge plus in my book - changing items were welcomed and the staff even made recommendations on changes - who does that. awesome hit."

  • "We had the seasonal tasting menu paired with wines, and it was as good as any we have ever experienced. Scallops, squab, turbot and wagyu beef all done to perfection. What we especially liked was the unfussiness of the preparations, with simplicity and elegance of the accompanying sauces and seasonings, allowing the basic flavors to dominate. Superb, friendly service, without hauteur. A very relaxed, yet still refined experience."

  • "Booked an anniversary dinner and wasn't disappointed. Food was superb, service stellar. Pricey but worth it. Attention to detail in making our special night noted was fantastic."

  • "Truthfully, I ate here about 3.5 years ago and I did not enjoy it. However, I must say tonight, my first return since, I had an very good meal. Everything from service, to the bar, to the food (good sized portions for this price point). To start, we had the lobster appetizer (wow!) and also the black cod (my only complaint, too salty) appetizer. Then we had the Fusilli w/wild boar bolognese and the Venision w/ pear & baby potatoes (both were excellent with no "gamey" taste). Meal was worth every penny and I will most certainly be back soon."

  • "I visit NYC often and have dined in the best restaurants all around town, but the overall experience of this restaurant made a lasting impression. We had a large party that included my 5-year-old son. While it is not a restaurant that has children as frequent diners, they made us feel very welcome. They also made him feel special! The 7-course tasting menu was amazing, and the service was seamless. If you haven't been here, go ASAP. It is wonderful!"

  • "From our late arrival (which was handled discretely and politely by the host) to our departure, we had an amazing time at this restaurant. Kudos to chef, wait staff, and bar. It was everything you would expect from a venture of Tom Colicchio. Each morsel was carefully thought out, prepared, and presented. It was a delightful, relaxing, beautiful evening for my sister and I. I cannot wait to return to New York and this restaurant!"
