Diner Reviews
  • "The menu has a variety of items, not just seafood. But the seafood is good and they always have fresh wild fish in season. I think they should change the featured menu a little more often. The staff are very friendly."

  • "I always enjoy Coho's but this was a special occasion for a friend's baby shower and we had a perfect table by the fireplace, it was fairly quiet and we could talk and hear each other. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the entire luncheon very much. Thank for making the dining experience at Coho's so wonderful with the friendly and accommodating staff. I look forward very much to dining there again."

  • "Coho keeps their menu vibrant and the recent introduction of the brunch menu has been a delight. I would surely like to return for more cornbread, calamari and the amazing fresh peppercorn sauce on my steak & eggs."

  • "I had made a completely last minute reservation for 10 people after our initial plans fell through and I had no idea what to expect. We were celebrating a 25th birthday, two promotions and having a bit of a reunion as well, but I didn't have time to notify a new restaurant. I could not have been more impressed with our server, Kenn J. He was attentive and had patience with us as we settled in and started focusing on food instead of each other. There was always someone close by to help us order more food or wine and I felt like I could relax and enjoy myself. Then! At the end of the meal, Kenn had paid attention to which couples were together and split up the checks accordingly. Thank you so much for making the night pleasant for our group!"

  • "Food was good, Wine list included two bottles that were not available, but listed as "Special of the Month" which was very disappointing. The noise level was too loud for us to carry on any sort of conversation around our table. Our conversations were essentially limited to our companions on our right and left. Otherwise it would have been necessary to raise our voices; thereby including other diners which would have impaired their dining experience(s). Our party left having not discussed what we intended to accomplish during our evening together."

  • "A local favorite that I go back to time and time again. Plus they have a good menu which suites a variety of tastes / food preferences."

  • "We used to consider Coho Cafe as a default place to go on special occasions. Coho specialty is Pacific Northwest Cuisine with a reasonable selection of local vines. The place is kids-friendly, has enough space to accommodate groups of 5-6. The main hall is quite large, and usually it's quite crowded at dinner time (which means that a lot of people consider this place, kind of a good sign). So it's definitely not a place where you could enjoy your evening in a private atmosphere. Not a problem for us - usually we show up there as a big company with a bunch of kids. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. All in all, if you're looking for a good place for a diner, and you're OK with seafood - you should put Coho on your list."

  • "$ of us were there for unch. The service was slow and once served was no longer seen. I had the soup of the day which was a vegetable soup and it was so over spiced that it made my mouth burn. I also had to ask for crackers. The hamburger was OK which for what the price is, should have been a great one. I don't think we will go there again."

  • "My husband liked his dinner, and mine was good except the crab cakes were a little too salty tasting. Would have been more romantic if they weren't showing Sports Illustrated swimsuit models during the entire dinner. One could easily see the TV in the bar from the dining room. Waitress was great and we do enjoy the food here. Bring back the fried capers!"

  • "Ever since I discovered Coho, I can't stay away....and I have introduced a lot of my friends to the restaurant...and to the crab tower."

  • "Even though the place wasn't busy, the waitstaff was nowhere to be found. When they actually showed up, it was even worse. The appetizers arrived at the same as the main course. I don't recall refilling our water glass or asking how the meal was. Since the food is actually quite good, although they could use more seafood on the menu, the service ruins what could be a nice evening out."

  • "We ordered the chicken tacos and a Mahi Mahi special. Both were adequate at best as they were relatively bland and lacked flavoring. The chef should use a little more seasoning on the dishes. I expected the Mahi Mahi to be blackened or have some type of southwestern spice based on the description, however, it was basically a piece of Mahi Mahi with nothing on it. The chicken tacos were basically chicken breast on a corn tortilla with a little cabbage and no flavor. In general, I probably wont go back."

  • "Good service and good food. Meals all arrived together and served as ordered. Good Happy Hour as well. We will return"

  • "I ordered flank steak teak and prawns with polenta and a salad. The prawns were okay, but everything else was tasteless. My wife ordered a mixed seafood plate and she said it was undercooked and greasy. My son had fish and chips and it was okay, but the cole slaw tasted bland. Service was okay, but unexceptional."

  • "I love this restaurant, it is the best value, service and the food is outstanding! I don't understand how they can keep up with such good prices and quality for all this years. I really love going to this restaurant, is my favorite treat of the week!"

  • "The waitress was very honest and helpful in suggesting what is the menu. The food is very healthy and the presentation is first class. I like the movie voucher discount also which I used immediately after eating. The open table website is also excellent in reserving a table. Thank you to the hostess who gave allowed us to chose the table, the waitress who was very friendly like she is my sister and the chef who prepared the excellent food."

  • "Coho's is our favorite place for dinner before a show or for a Friday night dinner spot. Always great food, good selections, and good service. My wife asked for and received a great Key Lime pie recipe which we have used on several occasions at home. Give it a try. You can't lose!"

  • "The food and service is simply amazing. There is no single item in the menu that has ever disappointed me.This is one of my favorite restaurants in town."

  • "We have been frequent diners at Coho in Redmond over the past several years. It's a great place to enjoy decent northwest cuisine with family visiting from out of town. We especially enjoy their happy hour menu, especially on warm summer evenings. Fire Roasted Jalepeno's and Chicken Edamame Popstickers are great from their appetizers. You also can't go wrong with a steak or salmon burger."

  • "They had the best breakfast potatoes and these amazing-unique pancakes to die for.. great service and great ambiance. A wee-bit expensive but worth the money for celebrating special occasions.."

  • "What's not to like? The food is good to very good, the décor is very nice, the service is attentive and knowledgeable, and the fireplace is welcoming on a cold winter Seattle night. The noise level can be a little much - especially on a night when the Seahawks are on the TV's in the bar area. But overall this is a very nice place to get together with friends."

  • "We are regulars at the Coho, especially in the summer when the patio is a great place to spend a nice evening. Food is great, excellent choices and interesting specials. But the cost of a glass of wine at $10-$14 is making us think twice about going again."
