The food is excellent; the specials of the day always of interest (we had the oven-roasted monkfish), and the wines-by-the glass offer a wide selection. Our server was very helpful in making a recommendation on the wine list based upon our preference.
We did see a few kids there (age 7-10), but I would not classify this restaurant as kid-friendly.
We ordered five courses with wine and the meal lasted about 1 hr, 45 minutes. In my opinion, the pacing of the courses could have been a little more relaxed. Although we did not feel rushed, a few more minutes between the courses would have made it easier for conversation and reflection on the last course. The portions were large, the pastas fresh, the glasses of wine fine, the service attentive without being intrusive, courteous without being fawning.. We shared the braised octopus appetizer and each of us had the whole Branzino deboned table side, which was excellent! We prefer red wine, even with fish, and enjoyed a bottle of the Vino Noble de Montepulciano!

The food is ohsogood (seems northern Italian to me, but I didn't ask) and service professional and friendly. The antipasti plate contained a wide variety of veg, could have offered a more varied selection of meats . If you're a bread person get the bread guy to leave more than one slice on your plate when he passes. The entrees were nicely plated (artistic without being fru-fru), portions were hearty without being obscene, and deliously prepared.
