A word from Coco Palm
Havana meets Madrid at Coco Palm, the beautiful hilltop restaurant overlooking the San Gabriel Valley. Begin your evening with a Mojito or Sangria in the lounge, and then enjoy dinner while listening to our house music in the elegant restaurant, specializing in traditional Spanish and Cuban cuisine. Don't miss the Paelia Valencia or the House Steak, a 56oz bone-in rib chop for sharing. A variety of fresh seafood is available daily - from lobster and shrimp to fresh salmon in Albarino wine sauce or loin of Sea Bass in a Mango-miso sauce. Afterwards, show your moves in the Coco Room where every Friday we offer free salsa lessons, followed by a live twelve-piece salsa band. On Sundays we offer a spectacular all-you-can-eat Champagne Brunch, and an all-you-can-eat lunch is served daily. Valet Parking is mandatory on most nights, $5/vehicle. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "Coco Palm continues to exceed the expectations of fine dining. The staff is attentive, the place is romantic and the food is amazing! "

  • "Well-appointed restaurant; good food, but limited selection - not enough variety in meats. Outstanding view of I10 and Pomona. Buffet is awkward, centered on the hallway."

  • "The Food waa really good. Our waiter waa attentive and cordial. The restaurant was beautiful and very clean. The only thing me and my girlfriend did not care for was that they sat us between two families in only one section of the restaurant while the whole place was relatively free. Kinda hard to spark the romance if you gotta hear other people's business...."

  • "Took my husband for his birthday. I requested in my reservation a table by the window that didn't happen. I picked this location not only for its ambiance but also for the live band. I was not made aware that they closed the coco room due to a large wedding. That changed our plans of course. Overall my dinning experience was satisfactory."

  • "We come to this place about twice a year but we absolutely love it. We have a pretty big family so coming often would bend our pocket but for special occasions or a date night, its great. Food and servoce are great!!"

  • "The view from our table set the mood for a nice evening with delicious food, as we were seated next to a window overlooking the city. We started off with a mojito...delicious! We ordered the Churrasco and lechon, both were absolutely flavorful and cooked perfectly. Pan de pudin (bread pudding) for dessert was so-so. Would definitely return but I am not happy with forced valet service for 5 dollars. Why is that necessary?"

  • "The restaurant was amazing and the food was delicious. The best part was the service. Our waitress was there when something was needed and gave us the right amount of space."

  • "Looking for something different for seafood on a Friday, I found Coco Palm in my neighborhood through OpenTable. Who could resist a hilltop restaurant serving Paella? This Cuban based food was excellent. I started with the de la casa Salad which was a lating version of Nicoise. Large enough for a meal itself. Then followed by parrillada de marisco (grilled seafood). My husband had the lobster bisque followed by paella marinera. Each came with fired plantains. And for a twist the bread service was toasted pan with black bean puree instead of butter. Yum. ANd the views were excellent. We sat in the back of the dining room and still enjoyed the lights at night."

  • "Pros: Good food with a semi-formal energetic atmosphere. Cons: The restaurant was not full but every customer was but in one section of the restaurant. This led to what felt was a cramped atmosphere. Leaving a table empty between parties would of made for a better experience."

  • "Everything was great except for the service provided by our server Luis, he did not come once to check in on us. After he brought our food that was the last time we saw him till he came to clear the table and bring the bill."

  • "Open Table does not offer enough text room to write a detailed review but... The visit to Coco Palm was nice for the most-part as follows... Our drinks, a Mojito and Margarita. Mojito was NOT good, the mint type left a bad after taste, that of mint throat spray. We ordered table-side Caesar Salad for 2, quite nice, w/good portions. Bread and bean dip was also good. We ordered Sea Bass (very small portion and slightly under cooked), and Filet Mignon, which was fine. Although I left the Mojito untouched after tasting, I was not offered a replacement. Views r nice, but if u spend time outside, the freeway noise is very obtrusive. In short the visit was nice/okay, and when spending over $100.00 one expects better than "just okay"."

  • "My lady and I have really enjoyed our first time eating here. The food was very tasty and the quality and portions of it were great as well. God bless the chefs. Our waitress always made sure we were doing fine. The environment of the restaurant was very diverse which is another thing I liked about Coco Palms and we loved the view of the Inland Empire and L.A. WE may even consider having this as a near-future wedding venue. Very impressed with this place."

  • "I had a reservation...and they sat us real quick before our time...we were able to sit at a window over looking the city. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. The bread was soft and delicious which was complemented by the smashed black beans... the food was excellent. Everything was on point that helped make our valentines dinner magical. ..I will most definitely be back. And already have told all my friends about this place... the service was great..the waiter William took very good care of us. Restaurant hit on all points to make it a perfect dinner cuisine...bravo"

  • "2/13/14 and 2/14/14. All attendants are experienced but do not care to serve. In both visits we felt rushed. On Valentine, a larger than usual gratuity was added to the bill and it was guaranteed. This seemed to back fire because there was no true effort to serve. There was no effort to accommodate special requests, there was just and effort to get us fed and out of there. I was reminded that you were serving over 300 guests that night. Paying extra is not a problem as long as the service is there. It was not. I am certain you made a few bucks. Food was awesome as always. It will be a very long time before I come back. Hope my review is considered next time your parking lot is empty. You will know why we do not go there. Kind regards,"

  • "I so enjoyed dinning at this establishment. My party was late and I had to wait, but the hostess made me feel very comfortable and every now and then asked if I wanted water. I went to sit at the bar for a cocktail, and I did not feel uncomfortable, as the ambience is a very sophisticated one. As soon as a table by the window was available the hostess came to inform me and I was able to wait for my party at the table. I felt very comfortable despite never having been at this restaurant."
