Havana meets Madrid at Coco Palm, the beautiful hilltop restaurant overlooking the San Gabriel Valley. Begin your evening with a Mojito or Sangria in the lounge, and then enjoy dinner while listening to our house music in the elegant restaurant, specializing in traditional Spanish and Cuban cuisine. Don't miss the Paelia Valencia or the House Steak, a 56oz bone-in rib chop for sharing. A variety of fresh seafood is available daily - from lobster and shrimp to fresh salmon in Albarino wine sauce or loin of Sea Bass in a Mango-miso sauce. Afterwards, show your moves in the Coco Room where every Friday we offer free salsa lessons, followed by a live twelve-piece salsa band. On Sundays we offer a spectacular all-you-can-eat Champagne Brunch, and an all-you-can-eat lunch is served daily. Valet Parking is mandatory on most nights, $5/vehicle. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "This is one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. Our waiter was sweet and recommended us great appetizer and entree which are our favorite( I forgot the names...) but you have to try their $55 prim rib that cooked with the rib bone, they will bring out the whole piece and cut it in front of you. Their lobster bisque soup is also the best it's a must try!!"

  • "The only other place where I have had Cuban food this good is in Florida (and, of course, Cuba, where lived until 1960). The service, view and food are all excellent. Great for special occasions or a romantic night out."

  • "Even do I didn't get the window view. I was offer the outside seating which was lovely. I love to eat outside and feel the air. I guess since I work at a hospital I get no outside feel. The restaurant was so nice. A wedding was in place which it didn't really bother me at all. It was a Sunday"

  • "The staff was welcoming, the decor modern and clean, nice view of SG valley. Great appetizers and delicious flavors. We had he fixed price dinner for $29.99. Appetizer is soup or salad, main course is steak, fish of the day, two other meat options, and dessert was cheesecake or flan. We got two addtl appetizers- tostones and shrimp cocktail. Everything was divine."

  • "From the moment you pull into the driveway, you feel like you are entering a romantic, secluded retreat. The decor is modern and elegant, yet somehow warm and inviting and intimate. The wall of windows offers a spectacular view of the valley. (It reminds us of our favorite restaurant from our honeymoon in the Bahamas.) But best of all is the food. Starting with the bread and bean dip...the tropical salad choices...the side dishes of plantains and black beans and rice...each offering a unique flavor that make you want to come back because you know you can't get them anywhere else. And the meat dishes are divine!! Whether you get the filet mignon or the sea bass, either one will simply melt in your mouth!! Can't wait to go back."

  • "Date night was the best in a long time! We shared the 55oz tomahawk chop, prepared at our table...excellent! Then we took salsa lesson's and drank Mohito's until the night was over! Combined with the great service, the food was icing on the cake....at least until you hear the band fire up and salsa lessons kick in. What a great time!"

  • "The Wife and I celebrated our 19th anniversary there with dinner. It was great. We both love Cuban food and Coco Palm did not let us down. We had a window seat overlooking the hill and lighting and service were just right. Would definitely recommend this place. "

  • "Very poor service, there was one server for the day during lunch time. The server did not come to our table more than once, had to go up to the hostess to retrieve our bill. Very poor service, they need to hire more people to accommodate people's needs."

  • "We had a wonderful time!! This was our second annual visit (we come from Tucson for the Pomona Races). We invited family from Temecula who had never been, and they loved it as much as we do. The food is OUTSTANDING, the service friendly. Very busy place so we waited a bit, however the atmosphere is so easy and relaxing it really didn't matter. The food was worth the wait! See you next year :)"

  • "NICE LOCATION. $5 DOLLAR VALET PARKING ONLY! UNLESS YOU PARK IT YOURSELF AND PLEAD YOU DON'T HAVE CASH. ENTRANCE WAS A VIEW WITH WATERFALL THEY HAVE 2 BIRDS PARROTS THAT ARE VERY LOUD AND TALK TOO...FUNNY AND COOL. ON THE WAY IN WE HAD RESERVATIONS WAITED FOR 5 MINUTES AND WE WERE SEATED BY THE WINDOW IN THE EVENING WITH A VIEW FACING 10 FWY AND SOUTH OF POMONA...NICE. THEY HAD A PRE FIX MENU THAT WAS COOL FOR US BECAUSE IT WAS OUR 1ST TIME BEING THERE. T..HEY FIVE A LOT OF BREAD WITH BEAN DIP; IT WAS GOOD. I WILL SUGGEST DO NOT ORDER APPETIZERS JUST GO WITH THE PRE FIX MENU AND ENJOY. WE TRIED THE EMPANADAS THEY WERE SO, SO THEY WERE DEEP FRIED BUT THE MEAT IN THE INSIDE WAS COLD. NO JOKE. SO STICK WITH THE PRE FIX MENU IF YOU ARE EARY. "

  • "After a short wait, we were seated at a large round table in the Bolero room and treated to a beautiful, sunny view of the rolling Pomona hills just beyond an outside deck. The buffet was outstanding - everything was wonderful and we even had omelets made to order. Trays were continuously brought out so the food was always fresh and hot. We made multiple trips to try everything and no one was disappointed. Our waiter was good, but was a bit unattentive. I had to fetch him several times for condiments, coffee, drinks, refills and finally the bill. He seemed to be more attentive to the other tables for some reason but it was a very busy day and he was always pleasant. This was our first time trying Coco Palms and will definitely be back!"

  • "The food was mediocre at best. Only had 1 food area and it was bland. The paella was the only tasty dish. Our waitress seemed as if she was hating life being there. The roast beef or prime rib.... Whatever it was so fatty and bland. "

  • "My wife and I got married there in 2007 and just celebrated our 7th year anniversary there. We had 110 people at our wedding/after wedding service. Everyone LOVED the entire event, including the food. Since then, my wife and I have eaten there every year and have NEVER had a problem. It's cool because they take great pride in honoring their guests. And I strongly recommend getting married there. You will not find a cheaper price anywhere else. Just try. The scene will take your breath away and they make it soooo easy so basically all you have to worry about is saying "I DO", the staff will take care of the rest. A++++++ rating. Strongly recommended. Even if it's to take your girl on a little romantic date. Have fun. Thank's CoCo Palms "

  • "Overall it started a little shacky. We we're seated at our table and forgot about for all most 30 minutes. Nobody came to our table and I felt ignored. Once I complained to the manager, things picked up immediately and the manager was very apologetic and comp us on our cocktails and Bill.. Overall it was a good experience.. "

Went during their buffet lunch and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and everyone was great! We ended up booking the Bolero Room for our wedding later this year."

  • "Unique place for a special occasion, the service was great, the ambience was fancy and definetly something to talk about, the food was good for someone who is pretty much open to all types of food , my wife didn't hate it but would like the food more if there wasn't plantains in almost every meal and there were more options other than seafood which most people aren't a big fan of but overall we had a great time and did not have any complaints , because of the food options , I probably won't go back considering my wife allergic reactions to bananas and plantains"
